I would have never thought that some people would have to take such actions when I started it a long time ago. Well we wouldn't want you to be completely blocked from accessing SF.

Yeah I haven't been on as much as I was during summer. Well hopefully you can get on more often though Toph. Speaking of which I have exams coming up... Gah I'm not looking forward to pre calc lol.

Well all of the active users would need to post 4 posts a day for us to reach the 300,000 mark before new year. It wouldn't be to hard.

On another note we will be having a new competition soon for another signed copy of Brisingr. I still have to finish some details before we go ahead with it.

Well if it wasn't for Halloween at the end of October I am sure we would have had a christmas tree in the month of october. It's not that I don't like christmas, but the music 2 months before the season each year is kind of making me crazy.

Generally most aspect of the book can be broken up in it's respective book. Having one topic for general discussion about the inheritance cycle would most likely result in a overlap of discussion happening in two different places.

Has for SaphiraForums, we will still be around. I would most likely put into action one of my oldest expansion ideas, but SF would still be around like it is right now.

Well we should be getting a bit more speed and stability on the server. I am trying a couple of things so that it runs more smoothly.

Update:

The board should now go much faster, I found one of the problems that caused it to act like a tortoise. But the thing is that we will no longer have a feature . The box that said everyone who was online in the past week was the main problem and I had read from it's support topic on phpbb that it might cause the lagging problem we were having. The author of this modification has stopped working on it, so the problem will likely never be resolved unless we fix it. So for the moment we will have to live without it.

Another note, I accidentally deleted the search index , so until my computer can finish rebuilding it we will have to live without it. Not to worry it should be finished about 12 hours it there are no problem

i am bored and sad!!!

not only is my car broke for the time being but so is my computer. actually the computer died. im thankfull that my local library has internet connection. so i can come in about twice a week and check on my emails. but no longer can i do this at home. at least not until imcome tax arrives. lol

That's bad, if you lived close to me I could have had a look at your machine to see if there was a way to fix it.

Unless I can fix the application it will be no longer present on the forum. It was the choice between having a slow SF which became unreliable and one that works well. I opted for the reliable one, because if I don't like it loading slowly, I am sure others have the same opinion.

Also over the past couple of weeks, the server stopped responding completly a couple of times.

Well I hope I will now get fewer emails from the server warning me that something went down. We have an application running that makes sure that all the services are running normally and if there is a problem it will restart it. This is one reason that the site is never actually down for a prolong amount of time any more, 2 years ago we did not have this and if one of the services went down the site would be down until I realise it.

Yes I now have 2500 posts, 500 to go and I truly deserve the 5 dragons

well, i very much like the new SF.

The worst thing about this is that it is the old SF, the way it used to be before we added the modification a couple of months ago.

Did I come after the modifications? Cause I don't remember SF being any different than it is now. Well... it might have changed while I was gone last year... *sigh* Though I must admit, I've always loved the way SF looks. Like the color scheme I mean. The blue and black. It was one of the things that made me join. Lol. I know that sounds dumb but I'd never seen that sort of color scheme.

And guys it is an amazing peice of work. She is obviously a very talented person, especially if it was mostly improv. *wink* But its really not chosen on whether its an improv or not, and it doesn't matter if its not done on the best of recording equipment, its the actual song that counts.
