D'ran turns his head to look at Trinkel from over his shoulder, "You fairies don't seem to care much do you?" Chuckling a bit he turns around and heads back to his spot after he set the Iakal in a place where it would not get wet. "Why not." He said as he sat down. "It couldn't be more depressing then mine."

"I care! What did you want me to say?" Trinkel said, hurt.

After a shrug D'ran said, "I don't know, just something else. What you said kinda felt like ice being put down your tunic or something." D'ran then lowered his head in a sign of appology. "Forgive me. I spoke without thinking. Please share your story with me." He said while getting in a more comfortable position.

Trinkel sighed, "Thats alright, I just didn't know what to say. Ok so here it goes.
When the humans started desroying our home, my parents sent me away to be with my aunt. I was very young at the time and travelling with a group and one day when we stopped for a break. Well as usual I got distrakted and went into the forest to find something to eat. I don't know what happened, all I know is that when I came back to the spot where the carivan was, it was gone. Well as any young girl would in that situation, I sat down and cried, and cried for hours. When I finally stopped I decided I needed to do something instead of just sitting around. So I went into the forest to look for some shelter. I found this smal, fairy sized hut, with smoke coming out of the chimney. I knocked on the door and an adult fairy answered. To cut a long story short, that fairy was Rosalie and she took care of me. We had nothing else to do so she trained me WELL in magic, untill.... she died recently."
Trinkel finished with a sad look on her face. "She was like a mother to me. More so than my birth mother."

after hearing both stories Reb gets up and says," I dont think any of you want nightmares tonight so I will spare you by not telling my story." She said playing with Shedo

Zayl continues on his way north, passing by some merchants that didn't really pay them any mind. Zayl just wanted to get to the town and get the weapon and return back to the group as fast as he could.

Trinkel continued to follow D'ran and his party. "I would be happy to hear your story sometime Reb, that is, if you want to tell it."

Fixing the Iakal meat on his back, D'ran said, "As would I Reb. Also I want to go to another town. I would like to ask some people if they have seen my father." Motioning Trinkel to go ahead of him, D'ran says, "Lead the way this time Fairy. Because I do not think you wish to smell the meat while we travel. Fixing the meat, D'ran slows his flight and motions for Trinkel to lead once more.

"OK, any particular village?" Trikel asked as she flied ahead

Zayl finally reached the town of the north, Bowerstone. It was small and quiet. Many inhabitants, lots of stuff to do, but all Zayl wanted was the sword and then to get out of there. Zayl went to the nearest shop that sold weapons and asked about the weapon in particular, "Oh no, sorry, but we don't sell that weapon here, you want Bowerstone North, that's just up the stairs and through the gates," said the merchant. "Alright, thank you" said Zayl and headed towards the entrance. Zayl got to the top of the stairs where he met a guard, "Ello, what business do you have up here?" said the guard. "I'm looking for a weapon and a merchant told the weapon was in North of Bowerstone, May we please pass?" asked Zayl. "I guess, but make sure there be no rucus" said the guard and he let them through. Zayl continued and went through the gates, Bowerstone North was much like South but a little bit more smaller. A shop was set right across from where Zayl and Roderick where and he headed straight towards it. Zayl entered the shop, "Ello, what can I help you with?" asked the merchant. "I'm looking for the weapon called the Solus Blade and someone told me it was here in the North, do you know of this weapon?" asked Zayl. "Yes actually, I have it, if you're looking to purchase it'll be 1000 gold" said the merchant. "Deal" said Zayl and the gold and weapon were exchanged and Zayl had the weapon he'd been searching for for most of his life. The Blade was jagged and curved and was shining red. It was just as Zayl imagined it and it was his. Zayl got what he came for and now it was time to head back to the group and off Zayl went back to his companions.

Thinking, D'ran sighs. "I'm not sure." He said. "But I think it was called Walkia. It was a large town a bit to the northwest." Reaching behind him he grabs a shred of meat and throws it to Horal. Then taking another he throws it to Sundavar. Wonder what Walkia looks like now. He thought. Considering I haven't been there in over ten years. "Hey wait up!" He called to the fairy. "This meat is getting heavy, and I can barely move my wings under it!" "I can carry it for you D'ran. After all I am the one who cought it." Sundavar said. Slowing to a halt D'ran removed the meat and a length of rope. Using both He ties it to Sundavar's back, inbetween his top wings. "Is it to tight Sundavar?" He asked. Sundavar only shoke his head in a breef 'no' and took to the skies.

Zayl finds another bird as soon as he left Bowerstone, he tied another letter to asking the group where they were heading. After the letter was sent Zayl and Roderick found a place to rest, Roderick was just thinking to himself keeping his dagger and long sword to himself. Zayl sat and looked at his new sword, marveling his new weapon and couldn't wait to kill someone with it.

As the group turned to the northwest and heads to Walkia, D'ran tries to remember its strange custom and the proper way to entreduce oneself to another. Now we are about to come across a strange town called Walkia Said a voice. Another voice, one of a childs spoke next, "Wolk eye?" D'rans father laughs his big belly laugh. "No Walkia. You will love it there son." Said a bigger sprite-kin, one with bronze hair and silvery wings. This one Sprite-kin had been D'ran's father, the one lost in his battle. Along with his bronze hair and odd color of wings for sprite-kin, Nyo had emerald green eyes and great wisdom of the land. "This town calls it impolite for younguns to speak without being asked a question." Said D'ran's father. "Why do they think that?" Said the younger version of D'ran. "Well," explained Nyo. "They have alot of strange customs. Like never opening a door of any kind, even windows, without knocking on them first. And always putting their hands in front of them to say the word, 'hello'" "That is strange." said a very confused little sprite-kin. Nyo simply played with his boy's hair and laughed. "Indeed it is." Nyo said. Another sprite-kin, this one a female with long red hair and golden wings flys over and fixes the boy's hair. "We must look nice always. Even if we a poor we must hold our head high." Said the she-sprite. "Yes mother." replies D'ran. Back in the real world D'ran flys along with his ahead in his memories. Stories his father told him back when they were traveling and more importantly his mother.

Zayl was close to the group and he would join them with happiness and hoping there would be no bad blood between him and the fairy twinkle, Roderick seemed not to care, all he wanted was the prize in Driagot and be rich. And they truged on, very close to the group, almost there.

D'ran looked up at a sound of a bird. He held out his hand and took the note from it, quicky reading it over D'ran takes out a piece of coal and writes a return message on the back and ties it to the bird's leg and sends it off. "Well that man is returning. Did anyone catch his name?" D'ran said. Then to Rebekah he said, "Why wait Reb, I'd like to hear it now. It will help pass the time."


OOC: Small but I'm like out of ideas for talking right now.

Zayl was still heading in the same direction as earlier. Zayl was caught up in his thoughts when a bird came into view, it was the same one he sent out earlier and this time it had a replay message. "So they're heading in that direction, not to far, we can make it there in like a hour hopefully. Zayl and Roderick had been traveling for the last hour and they were tired. Zayl looked down at the road and saw fresh footprints, Zayl's spirited lifted. Zayl called to Roderick and told him they were close to the group. They ran up a little farther and there everyone was, sitting around a fire looking expectantly at Zayl and Zayl just sat down along with Roderick with the group.

"Walkia, I know the place. I have not been there in many seasons though." Trinkel says thoughtfully. "Reb, does the telling of your tale make you uneasy?"


OOC: sorry mine have been so short too. I have a bad case of writers block

Zayl had once been to Walkia, it was a brief visit and he didn't do much there. He really didn't like it, it was made up of the snobs and push overs. Zayl much prefered the wild jungles than a city.

" No it doesn't make me feel uneasy it just brings bad memories to the surface." She said then stopped cobalt and dismounted then sat on a log, and began her tale. " Back when I was a little baby, my father was a dragon rider, although not many knew about him, Galbortrix found out about him. Galbortrix had sent an army to destroy my hometown, and kill everyone in it. My mother found out, and was horrified when she found out her husband was already dead. That didn't stop her. She ran from the army as best she could, when she was in the forrest that held the Elven capital, she was found by the army. She had little time to save us. She found a secluded bush where the elves were sure to find us, since word had been sent to them of my mothers predicament. The soldiers killed her but were unable to find me, or my brother Rebel. We were in the bush for three days, when an old lonley shade came upon us. He couldn't see my brother only me. He took me in, when the elves found Rebel they searched for me but to no prevail. I grew up for seventeen years in the shades home, when Galbortrix found us. I had been taught in every kind of magic, but through the years I had seen many deaths and battles so when the day came that the kind old shade was murdered, I ran from the army just as my mother had, they didn't catch me. I then somehow came to this strange land of Driagot. I will not go into detail the sadi part of my tale, but I just gave you a general description." She said sighing, in a sad way.
Occ: I am sorry, my caracter lives in alagasia so I had to write it like in my profille.

"That's an interesting tail, so did you learn alot from this shade?" Zayl asked.

OOC: its fine but please remember this is another world... ^-^ I'm still gonna act stupid when you talk about the king dude.

IC:Shaking his head D'ran says, "You keep talking of Galbortrix and riders although riders haven't been around and I have not heard of the Galbortrix person." Shrugging, D'ran pulls off a few slices of the Iakal meat and hands some to Horal, Sundavar, Zayl and Roderick. "Even if I do not trust you it is impolite to eat without offering some to the rest of the group." Pulling off two more slices he hands one to Saheit and begins chewing on the other. "You have been very quiet Saheit. Is something wrong?"

"Thank you for the meat, it is much appreciated" said Zayl and Roderick and they just ate the meat up quickly.

" I know d'ran I was dropped into this land somehow, and now Alagasia and the king are fare away, and Zayal If you haven't yet seen me in my shade state, you will shirink in fear when you do." She said looking off into the distance.

OOC: ^-^ I'm almost at your rank Star!

IC:Looking at the sun D'ran says, "We need to orginize watches for the night, I'll take the first." Then he looked at Reb and his face softened. She is right...her shade form is quite frightening. D'ran says in his head, thinking of the time he watched Reb fight her brother. Looking around D'ran spots Sundavar and calls him over. "Guard the meat from the man. He seems to enjoy it far to much." He wispers to the wyrm. Sundavar only gazes at Zayl with one eye and nods.

" I will be obliged to take second shift, and my wolves will be scouting all night." She said hinting to d'ran that she meant they would be scouting zayl

Nodding D'ran watchs the wolves leave camp to hide in the grass. Setting his pack down on the ground like before, D'ran looks around for a few twigs. "Not much wood in these parts. Not much at all. We would be lucky to find two pieces. Reb, would you dig here please?" D'ran asked.


OOC: short but I have BIG writers block.

Reb shook her head, then with a swift movement a twig caught on fire, and never went out even as the twig disapeard.

OOC: Brain failed me tonight...probly cuz I've been on all day...you go ahead star gazer

Zayl watched all the happenings. He saw Red and D'ran quckly run around looking for fire wood not much caring at anything at all. He wanted to relax a bit after eating but he was always on his guard. Zayl suddenly noticed that he was being watched by Sundaver and he didn't much like it. Zayl told Roderick and they both quickly and quietly got of the party's viewing to speak of their plan.

OOC: My character doesn't seem to fit in with you guys so I might drop out, plus no1 talks to me!

"That is an interesting tale. Thank you for telling us. It gives me a bit of insight to your life." Trinkel went to a leafy bush and began taking the leaves and turning them into a bag to carry supplies in.
"D'ran? Are you searching for anything in particular? Or for just for what happened to your father?"

OOC: sorry, I get confused.

OOC: what did i miss? Valkrayie you can always play it off and make a new one. Can some1 sum up what i missed plz?

OOC: I will PA. we went from forest to plains. we are heading to Walkia, strange town. Valk, Star and me told our char's tales of their lives and scarecrow went somewhere to get something.

IC: D'ran turned his head toward the fairy and said, "Mostly any clue I can find about him. It has been atleast four years since the battle. He needs to know whats been happening." giving up his search he walks to Saheit, "You ok? You've been very quiet for the past few days." He asked her.


PS: very short but I haven't been on in awhile.

OOC: thanx gry are we still gonna do the other story thing? we don't have to if you don't want.

IC: Seheit faced him "i'm fine i've just been thinking." Seheit sighed.

OOC: sorry since i haven't been on i don't know what to write but as soon as something happens and i'm on i'll write more.

" I am going to bed, because i have to wake up and take the second shift, wake me if you need something or get my wolves." Reb said then spread out a blanket, and lay down, her face to the sky, and her hands behind her head. She closed her eyes, and her youngest wolf layed down beside her. She smiled as Cobalt also layed down beside her. Shedo stayed up, and watched the camp.

Seheit looked for flat ground layed apon her blanket and driffed to sleep without a word she knew she had a long day of traveling ahead.

D'ran watched as the party settled down as he too sat on his pack, watching the sky. "You know," he said, "you really can't see these many stars at night in the forest." D'ran stared straight again and watched over the land. He sighed and flitted over to Sundavar, "Has he tried to take any more meat?" He asked the Wyrm. "None that I can tell. But he doesn't seem to like me watching him" Said Sundavar. D'ran nodded and walked slowly back to his pack. Reaching in he pulled out a bit of the rabbit meat. Handing some to Sundavar and Horal, he took a bit more for himself. "Sundavar," he said slowly, "do you think we will find Nyo at Walkia?" Sundavar only flapped his smaller wings to beside D'ran and said, "I am not sure. But what is the harm in looking?" After that was said D'ran sat quietly pondering his toughts till he grew tired. Waking up Reb, D'ran laid down to sleep.

Reb sat up sleepily, then nodded to the wyrm to go to sleep, and called forth her wolves. She got up and sat on a log then she grabbed a pack of berries out of her pack, and ate, while she watched the stranger, and made sure he didn't try anything sneaky.

Before dawn like always Seheit awoke the ground was misty but it was not cold she took a long beathe of fresh air and streached. She packed up her stuff as always and looked around everyone was asleep exept reb who sat watch. Seheit ate dried fruit and water. For the first time she looked at Rebs dogs although she knewthey were there she thought about how much they ment not only to Reb but the whole group without them she herself might be dead she went closer to them although to to fast because she did not want to put them on the defence and sat down near them seeing if they would come to her "Reb thease dogs mean a lot to you don't they? I can tell you they mean a lot to me as well. If you want to rest a wile before everyone gets up i will take watch they will probably sleep for at least an hour."
OOC: if ayone gets bord don't forget to PM me i'll reply asap

" Yes they mean quite a lot to me because they were the last present I was given from my mentor, who was like my father before he passed. I love them, and Shedo has been with me through the entire ordeal called my life. And why do they mean so much to you?" Reb asked motioning for the white pup who was named Lita to go to Sahiet. The pup looked at the girl, then walked over to her. Reb smilled and just nodded. " I dont need to sleep, but thanx for the offer. She said whistiling and Cobalt got up, and slowly walked to her. She hauled the saddle off his back, and threw it into the bush, saving her weapons and the food, but nothing else except for the riens.

Seheit started to pet the white pup and smiled. " I think they protect us all and we need them as much as we need eachother."
OOC: sorry had to cut it short i need to go soooo sorry.

" They are special things" Reb said smilling, " Although I would be just as lost with out my dear Cobalt. He is the strength of our group. I have been living with these three since my mentor died." Reb said.

Zayl looked at the pup and wondered what specialties this creature held and how would it be helpful to the group.

Reb saw Zayl eyeing her pup, and she hugged it closer, and called Shedo over. The she wolf was hyper and began to play. She was barking and yipping. " Shhhhhhhhhhh" Reb said stiffling a laugh.

Zayl racked his brain trying to figure out the pup could for the group. But he didn't think it much higher to his anamilistic companion, or companions as it is.

" Pup can you go find Cobalt's saddle and bring it here please?" Reb asked and the pup shot out into the dense undergrowth

Zayl found some mysteries to this dog. It must have strenght to carry a saddle bag, or maybe great speed, that would explain it.

Reb was becoming uncomfortable with the way the stranger looked at her pup. She fidgeted, and waited for the dog to come back. When the pup finaly came back she gave it a treat, and she pat it on the head. It yipped at her, and she began to laugh.

If I could get a dog like that, or perhaps stole a dog like that then maybe I could train it to be a good strong, mean hound dog Zayl thought to himself. That would be great to have one of them and have it tough and mean, hmmmm. "Say Reb where did you get that pup?" asked Zayl.

" From shedo, THat is her mother." Reb answered then laughed.

"Where is the mother?" asked Zayl. "Is there any place to buy them at?" asked Zayl.

IC: "I do not think that the wolf was boughtl Even if it was I don't think Reb would tell you." Said D'ran as he narrowed his eyes at Zayl. Turning around he begins the mess around and poke in his pack. Right as he began to mumble about the hot plains sun he lifts out his reagent pouch. "Sundavar," He said, "I want you to hold this reagent in your tail and to fly straight at the sun." Sundavar glanced at the reagent and slowly wrapped his tail around it and took off.

OOC: Hey Ladyofthelost, try not to be to godmodey when ya enter. but I just left a spot for you to come into with. ^-^ I'm wonderin' how your gonna enter! So please hurry!

" My other wolf is her mother like I have already said." Reb answered. " I wouldn't recomend buying any unless you wouldn't mind loosing a few fingers." She laughed.

But where did you buy the mother wolf then? Do you have any left to sell? Do you know what happened to the other pups?

" I didn't buy her, and this was her only pup. I would apreciate it if you didn't ask so many questions. It brings up sad and bad memories." Reb said shifting uncomfortably.

"Hmmmm, maybe I can find another kind like it then," said Zayl, " I'll go to town tomorrow to look and see if there is another of it's kind" said Zayl.

Deep inside the town Marcia hid in the shadows eyes focused on her victim.

Zayl stayed up all night searching the map for any indication to where the pup was at.

Marcia moved slowly invisible and grabbed the purse quick as lightning.
Then she began running to the cellar she called home.

Wary of the stranger, Reb put both wolves on a leash, and tied them to her saddle horn, and mounted Cobalt.

Marcia sighed with relief, seh had not been pursued.
Not like last time... last time she had come this close to repeating her punishment.
A punishment worse than death itself.

OOC: Hey lady, try to post a little more, its more interesting that way.

IC: D'ran raised his eyebrow at Zayl. "What are you doing?" He asked. D'ran just shrugged and said, "I don't think we will reach to town for atleast another four days. Its in the foothills of the Naolk range. And thats far away." Turning around, D'ran starts to re-arange his items when he feels a sudden shower of rain. "Well," he said, "Atleast the reagent worked."

OOC: Sorry i'm just trying to be a little elusive

Marcia walked along the path in silence, her ears hearing everything and her eyes missing nothing. She was a thief and a good one too, she'd stolen her first handbag when she was five years old.
She wasn't evil but her master wanted her to steal and so like many street kids she obeyed. The purse had been full she would be able to eat tonight, there was no need to steal anymore so she had left the bustle of town, soon she heard the voices of travellers on the wind, she stopped and dived for cover, you can never be to careful.

" SHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." Reb called, and walked Cobalt over to the bush, then jumped in. She came back out with a wrigling girl in her arms. Reb held a dagger to her throat. " What are you doing here?" She asked, her voice shaking. She didn't like holding a knife to a little girls throat, but here you can't be to careful. Reb grabbed a piece of rope out of her saddle bag, and tied the girls feet, and hands, then sat her on the log. Reb felt bad that she had scared the crap out of a little girl.

"I always come here, it's the only safe place in walking distance, please don't hand me to the guards. you don't know what they do to people like me" marcia began crying the knife was cutting into her throat. Still weeping Marcia saw the wolf and was flooded with memories of similar wolves higher in the mountains.

"Hrmm?" D'ran mumbled questioningly. Flitting towards the little girl, D'ran gazes at her eyes. "Horal," He said, "grab me my lute." As the falcon picks the instrument up and brings it to D'ran, D'ran picks through his pack and brings out a small hollow round piece of wood and slips it onto his little finger. When Horal sets the lute beside D'ran, he flys over and lands on the bush. Picking up the lute and tuning a few strings here and there, D'ran begins to play a song. While D'ran plays, his red streak in his hair begins to glow. At the same time Sundavar's red spine also glows and Horal starts to sing in his own wierd bird way. Sitting down while never stoping the song D'ran looks once again into the eyes of the little girl and reaches out a hand. Touching the girl on her forehead with his two first fingers of his left hand, D'ran closes his eyes and changes the tune on his lute, never stoping. D'ran begins to huming the same tune, and stops playing, his red hair never stops glowing. With his free hand he reaches into his reagent pouch and pulls out a reagent known to himself. D'ran stops the spell song and removes his hand from the girls forehead, droping the reagent into his water flask and sips out of it. "Ah," He says, "My tea is perfect. Now we can talk. . ."

As D'ran sang Reb's hands glowed bright red. She had quickly put them in her pockets, dropping the knife. She fought for the shade to stay where it was concealed from the world. When he stopped playing the music. Reb jumped onto Cobalt, and turned him to the path. " I am going for a gallop. Cobalt was her fire steed. His mane and tail, turned into flames themselves, and a firey trail was all that was left of Reb and Cobalt. She didn't want the group to see her when she was in shade state.

Marcia was confused, she sat down slowly uncomfortable.
"My name's Marcia, who are you?"
She looked around at the falcon and the wolf, she liked animals and they calmed her down.
She looked at the stranger drinking his tea and wondered what he wanted from her.

D'ran chuckles to himself. "Marcia you say?" He asked, "I shall keep my name a secret for a bit longer. . .My family was, well known in these parts." Taking a sip from his water flask he reaches into his pack and pulls out the Iakal meat. "Hungry?" He asks the girl. Tearing off a piece of the meat with his hands he sets it on a rock and puts the rest back into the bag. "Now tell me little pick pocket. . .Yes I do know you are one..Why else do you gaze at the animals so fondly? Simple, they can't rat you out. . .Why are you in the plains? Sure the farmers here are pretty welthy but nothin' else." As he talks D'ran's hand goes behind his back and pulls out the bag the girl was carring. "You still have lots to learn..for one thing don't leave it in the open. I snatched this with ease during my tea making...very simple." Grabbing his lute, D'ran bonks Marcia on the head. "Don't always trust the animals. Horal there has picked up a few tricks from me...why else did he land on the bush, eh?" D'ran leaned back and gazed at the sky and said, "So whats in the bag?" Then listens closely to her answer.

"It's money, only money" She didn't trust him and she was angry "I never take more than i need, I'm not like the others ready to grovel at my his feet. i never accepted him as my master and it's brought me a lot of suffering"
Tears began falling down her face as confused memories increased her rage "you judged me too quickly, you have never spent the night in the cold with no-where to go and nothing to turn to. I didn't always live in the town, i used to live in these woods but... there came a time when i had no choice. I went into the town and have been unable to leave, I have lived with the animals and that is why i love them, and that is why I trust them"

D'ran continues to show no emotion on his face, exept for a single raised eyebrow. "Little one, I did not judge you to soon or not at all. I simply concluded that you are a pick pocket, and a bad one at that. Here." He said as he threw the bag back to Marcia.

She caught it and tucked it away.
"I never wanted to be a pickpocket. But it got complicated..."
She wiped her tears sighed "What do you want from me?"

" O contrair child, I know all to well the life of coldness and lonlieness." Reb said, then looked the child up and down with a dusgusted look. " D'ran keep her away from my animals and my stuff, or she will pay if she touches a thing." Reb said then went over to Cobalt and grooomed him.

Marcia rubbed her eyes she had to get going or she'd never get back in time.

Marcia sighed and began rubbing her face wondering what would happen if the other orphans knew she'd cried. She looked up at the strangers and waited for their reply.

"I was once in your place when I was young. My Master, as you may call him, was my father. A Person that I need to find. You are welcome to join us. We don't have much to offer but atleast you wont be forced home to eat." Here he paused to think then casted a spell over water and splashed the little girl with it. "But if you want to travel with us, your going to have to have a bath.." He said through his chuckles.

Marcia giggled as the water splashed her face.
She thought of what she was leaving behind and began to appreciate the offer.
"Thank you" she was excited to think she would be leaving these hills, leaving her master and the desperation she had lived by. She looked at the stranger and wondered what he'd been through, she'd never known her parents and unlike the other orphans never wanted to.
"You can do magic" she said, shed known it before of course but wasn't used to people using it in front of her.
Wondering if maybe she would gain more than her freedom on this journey.

OOC:ya, but it makes it seem like ur different characters are in a time machine lol. i was merely suggesting.

"Yes, I know a spell or two... I'm not very good at it though.." He told the Marcia, "So, you say you would like to eat yet you make no move for the meat...and I do now know if you wish to join us yet..." D'rans eyes then begin to glow with intrest. "Do you know if a man, like me, called Nyo is in Walkia? Please I need to find him." He asked the girl. Then the glow faded from his eyes and were replaced by the fire of anger. "I also need to ask him some questions..." D'ran then looked at the sky and saw the sun begin to set. "But tonight is not the right time for that.. I'm sure my friends and would like to here your story.." After he finished talking he emptied his tea and replaced it with water from his spell, offering it to Marcia.

Marcia nodded "I would love to come with you" marcia said and accepted the water.
She slowly took some food and smiled, it was wonderful, she'd never eaten meat before it had always been bread and occasionally cheese.
"The only thing I can assure you is there is no-one like you in the town, but many hide their faces and all have secrets."
"As for myself there is much to tell, but none of it is happy and most of it I don't understand. You seem to have known pain but are you certain you want to hear about mine?"

D'ran set his pack down and leaned his back against it. "Its a long night and I'm sure everyone else would like to listen as well."

Marcia nodded "I never knew who my parents were, and i never wanted to, when i was little i had a brother called Marcus and he was the only parent i needed, he was only five years older than me but he helped me and protected me. Our parents gave us to my master, he doesn't have a name and no-one dares give him one, to many people have died for offending him.

I grew up quickly, i wasn't happy but i was to young to get whipped. Unfortunately when i was five my brother reached the age where he wasn't safe anymore. He decided it was time to run away, he started saving, anything he could get. Food that would last, money he could spare, and any clothes that would fit him when he was older. He knew we could never return but I didn't.
Then the day arrived, he'd planned it all and it was time to go, he waited till our master was drunk before fetching his stash.

He'd left me outside that night, he'd thought it would make his exit less noticeable. I was cold but i loved my brother and he was scared, this was the only way he would be okay"
Tears filled her eyes and she looked at these people around her,uncertain whether she should go on.

"It didn't go to plan, a man came to visit, I don't know who he was i never saw his face, but as my brother come through the door this man came round the corner. He came up to my brother and asked him who he was.
Deciding to continue she said "My brother knew who this man was and he started running, screaming at me to go, but he wasn't fast enough, the stranger grabbed him from behind and pushed him against the wall, the man looked at him and said some strange words, this was the first time I'd heard magic and i didn't understand what was happening, but i ducked behind the fountain when he turned to look for me.

He dragged my brother inside and my master and the stranger started shouting, minutes later i was hearing screams, i didn't know what caused them at the time. but i heard the words the boy is dead leave him be when they had finished.

It was then i started running, i don't know why i did it then, i just turned and ran and cried, any street kid knows about death especially in my town. I had seen many orphans die in my short life. I don't know what happened after that but i woke up the next day just over that ridge" she pointed east and shuddered.

"I didn't know what to do then, i didn't have anywhere to go, or anyone to help me, i hadn't even turned six and i was on my own. It was then i heard the howling of a wolf just like yours. I followed the sound, it was strange it was new and i had nothing else to try. I followed it to a river and that was when i saw my first wolf.
She was alone like me and her howling echoed my misery, i began howling to and we connected, i was in her mind as she howled for her lost cubs, and she was in mine as i howled for the loss of everything, of the loss of the only person who could protect me." Marcia conjured up a fire

"I became an animal that night and i ate like a wolf and i slept like a wolf. I ran with the wolf and when it came time for me to rest nature opened up to me, and i slept in her arms. But when the sun rose the next day i was still a child, still a human and still in pain. I rose back on to my two feet and looked at my blistered hands. I felt nature let me go and knew that humans weren't natural, that we had become something in ourselves, sometimes good and sometimes evil, we reached extremes nature never could.
But i stayed with the wolf but i became her kind again, she protected me and i would find food from travelers, bread that went spare and occasionally soup.

"but there came a day when i met a traveller i'd known before but didn't know where from, i came to him and we talked, he'd heard of my brother and said he lived in the town still, that he had not died and that a year later he had fled his master. He told me he was still in the town, searching for me and the year and a half in the woods had not killed my hope, so i believed him and i fell into a trap"

Marcia pulled up her sleeve and revealed her scar "when i was fleeing the stranger came out the door and he threw fire, it hit my arm and i screamed but didn't stop running. My arm has never recovered and in those days i had no sleeves.
"i walked into the town again, and i went alone, so blind i was, so sure that i would find him. But of course he wasn't there and i was easy to spot, i had been waiting under an hour before i was grabbed from behind. I blacked out and when i woke up i was looked in my room.
They didn't feed me and for days i just screamed and slept and wept. I'd sold my freedom, i'd sold my life, the last thing my brother gave me, i threw away.

When a week passed my master came and told me I was free to leave this room, but not to talk to anyone or i would recieve ten lashes. A month later i was forced to steal first with others, and in that time all the good left our town, everything turned dark.

Once i stole and i was caught, and i was strapped to wooden machines. It was there I started using magic, i hurt so badly and memories flooded my mind, some of them my own, some of them my brothers, and one night i saw the whipping, saw my brothers body go limp, and heard cruel laughs, and when i woke from this nightmare the laughing didn't stop. I was flooded with hate and i threw fire, i screamed fire i burned and my roped burned away and i was free, and i was running. Nobody was harmed i was happy when i sat that the place had burned down, but they built a new one.

Then today i stole this purse and came to see the hills i'd lived in, and that was when i heard you coming. I decided to hide and then i had a knife against my throat.

And that's my story."

Reb smirked. She didn't believe the girl was telling all she knew. Reb whistled to her wolves, and they came to her. Shedo growled at the girl, and the pup just yipped. " Look what we have here, a little fire witch." Reb said mockingly. " Now we have two who can twist the shape of fire, and minipulate it." Reb said. She walked over to the girl. " Tell me this, have you ever burned yourself inside to out by your own fire? I don't ever advise it." Reb said trying to scare the girl, she rolled up her sleeve, and showed her hand. At first it looked normal, then it began to glow, then fire ran up her arm, and around her body. The fire slithered like a snake all through the clearing, then the fire slithered up the girls arm, then back to Reb where it disapeared. Reb smiled. She hoped she had scared the girl out of her wits. Reb backed up, and sat down on her log once more.

"I have seen greater magic then that down there, you wish to intimidate me? To scare me like a pathetic fool, I don't know what I am but i have controlled my power and never use it for the pursuit of creating fear" Marcia growled and rose to her feet.
"You have a choice, you will either allow me to accompany you or we shall go our seperate ways. It is up to you, and though in some cases undeserved I thank you, i now know it is time to leave that wretched place and start living again"
Marcias scar started shining but she blew on it and the wind picked up, the fire went out and the scar's shine dimmed but did not disappear.

She nodded to the kinder stranger and stepped back to let them speak privately.

" I have greater magic, but I don't think it would be apropriate to demonstrait it. I do indeed love to create fear in others. I am a shade after all." Reb said, then whispered to D'ran.
" She may come but if she touches one thing of mine it will be the end of her coming with us." Reb whispered then backed away.

Zayl looked at Star Gazer with disgust. She intended to get rid of this young child and he would not allow it. "Love is nothing more than someting I hold very dear to me, Fear I love most because I use it to conquer over my victims" said Zayl.

" No one asked you, and for your information I happen to know what love means. I do not love fear, it is just a thing that helps keep me alive." Reb said looking at the stranger with disgust. He was also unwanted.

"Whoa you're a pain in the butt you know that?" said Zayl, "and your ignorant."

" you are not to peachy yourself. You are untrustable, you skulk around all day, and you don't do didly squat." Reb said angrily.

Marcia raised her eyebrows as the shouts changed their tone.
She struggled to remember what a shade was but failed.
slowly she sat on the rock wondering how long she'd be there

Zayl walked off to end this winning battle to him and losing to her. Zayl went out into the courtyard to relax and think of how Red was making everything worse for everybody, "all the girl wants is to end her curse and that shewitch Reb won't allow it" said Zayl.

Marcia watched as the other stranger left.
Slowly she rose to her feet and conjured up the fire again.
She walked back over to the shade and remaining stranger.
"May i come with you?" she asked

' I think you should actualy. You are the first person who is not easily offended by me. I think we will be friends. I am sorry for my Shade half, she can be verry rude sometimes." Reb said smilling.

"Well maybe you should have better control over yourself" said Zayl. "Maricia you are an oustanding person and you need to watch out for people that are cruel." said Zayl. "I will protect you from such evils if it takes my life under the vows of Rathma, if you wish it" said Zayl and he awaited his answer.

" How would you like it if a monster lived inside your head, and you had no control over it? Marcia, his oaths mean nothing. They are evil themselves." Reb said stepping in front of the girl.
