hes gonna be the king, although hes gonna not want to be, but he'll see that theres no other alternatives. Arya's gonna be the next dragon rider cuz she's still the only person whos rly fit to fill that position.

As for Roran being able to use magic, i think he'll be able to use it. CP for sure wouldnt go on about that, if it wasnt gonna happen.

if Roran becomes king, Katrina will be Queen, and their son/daughter will be Prince/Princess. that would be awesome!!

As for Roran using magic, it is my belief that everyone can you magic you just have to practice it over and over. so i'm not so sure about there being magic running in the family, because if Roran had it then Garrow would have and back on like that.

arya's the next rider. I think to make the last book more exciting, paolini will have nasuada die. But another thing contradicts it that I have been thinking. Eragon would be the next leader of the varden, so he can't leave with arya to wherever.

But then again, if the varden win, then it wouldn't be needed and then dissappear. Roran could be king and everyone's happy (this is probably only if nasuada dies)

Yeah good point. They would return to the citys and stuff.

but another thing is, now that all the dwarves, humans and elves are allied, then there would be no big threat to any of them left. Unless some foreign power comes across the sea or the mountains and the haradac desert, there is no need to even have an army.

however, (just remembered the situation today), it would leave too many unemployed and then w/out an income, making alagaesia's economy go down.

I main point in this post is that there would be almost no need for an army if there is no threat. The dwarves and the elves will be able to protect the humans if they have too

You know, I noticed that many of these theories about what will happen depend on the fact that eragon & co will kill or defeat galby, but we don't know for that for sure. (howeverm I truly hope that eragon defeats Galby)

i dont think that if nasuada dies that roran will lead the varden.i think eragon will because in book 3 nasuada says that she has chosen eragon as her sucessor if she is to die.and roran has not been in the varden as long as so many people.and as for the rider,i think it will be ayra because shes is the only person fit for it.=P

The Varden is mainly Familys and citazens, who's son and fathers help defend there moutina or where ever they are. The main people woman and kids and stuff, would return to the citys. Some people would stay and join the New Army under the New King, but some would perfer not to.

roran has the physical strengh to preform magic so i supose its possible he can use magic but i think it will take him a long time learn but it will be important in the 4th book C.p never mentions something unless its important.

Roran's father is Garrow. Don't tell me Garrow now has magic promise, I will die of laughing. Although Eragon is relatided to Roran, he is to distant I think. Magic seems to be passed from parnet/kids.

no because selnea became quite a strong magic user didn't she so it stands to reason roran has some potential if his aunt could use magic. its like some one with a brown haired aunt and 2 blonde parents gets brown hair isn't it.

maybe to cast a small ward or to be able to light a fire or just imagine if he could blind 2 out of 5 soldiers in a 1 against 5 fight he could give himself a small but useful advatage.

Isn't magic just being able to focus your will well enough? It’s kind of described as just another way of doing something... and while he can never be as strong as an elf, due to his decreased physical strength, couldn’t he still be a spell caster so long as he had the dedication to learn?
