Re: what are chances of morzans sword being red? um... well since Zar'roc is red that means Morzans dragon had to be red because riders swords had to match the colour of theor dragons scales.

By this excerpt we know that blade and dragon are of the same color. So it is safe to assume that Morzan's dragon was red. In regards to Thorn and Murtagh, my thought is that since Paolini knew Murtagh would end up with Zar'roc, seeing that it's his inheritance, and that this needed to happen in order to re-affirm Solembum's words, he may have decided to make Thorn red so as to match his father's and now, his Rider's blade. _________________ ~.~.~.~.~.~ |
