 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Anyone remember Oblivion on the PS3/Xbox360 from several years back? Bethesda has been working on a new Elder Scrolls game set to come out 11/11/11. It's going to be amazing. Say the word and I shall fetch some trailers and whatnot.

My friend showed me a video preview in class, I wasn't paying much attention though. The dragon interaction seemed interesting, though, and the visuals looked lovely.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I never played any of the other games, though I did hear of Oblivion and have heard of this one. I haven't read too much about what it's going to be about or know very much of how they play, though.

Well, I would recommend getting Skyrim if you like RPGs. From what I have seen, it looks really good.

I saw the trailer, and read more stuff about it, and now I'm pretty interested... I think I might be getting this.

Always loved the Elder Scrolls Series, hope this one lives up to the rest but from what I've seen, it will. Can't wait for it to come out.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Loved Oblivion when it first came out and the Skyrim trailer caught my intrest. Especially with the dragon slaying part. With the graphics the game is going to be a work of art. I can forsee me mostly just walking around and taking in the buety of the skyrim game world for awhile before actually tackling the plot and side quests. Especially in the mountains. I have a weakspot for mountains. Especially after spending some time in the blue ridge mountains one winter. So peaceful and untamed... so pleasent. Eh, bears aside. *laughs*

The mountains sure are beautiful, but they're a pain to trek.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I played this with the tome of a guide book. Went after all the Daedric Artifacts first. I really enjoyed the graphics and scenery of this game and the music over anything else. The caves were so repetitive, but the adventure feel and the snow blizzards and captivating vistas just made me keep playing. I often wanted to just get lost in the world.
Anyone still playing? I stopped after i beat the game's storyline and then my PS3 was in storage for 2 years so i never returned.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I actually just bought it not that long ago.. (I'm quite behind on the times) and its fantastic. The visuals are stunning, the gameplay exciting (for the first while anyway) and the main quests at least are full of adventure and seeing new places. I highly enjoy the game and I would recommend it to anyone who likes a highly immersive, visually stunning RPG.
