Wings from Above

OOC: This is open to anyone, I'm training Apollo with his element (as everyone can see that's what I'm doing with the other two Artemis and Ares so far). If anyone has the air element so he can be tutored, that'd be great.

IC:

The northern winds came at Apollo with great force. He was pearched on a peak, surveying the area as he listened to the voices carried throughout the air. They were of the animals that lived in the Beors, though none he wished to encounter.

Apollo has always had a special afflitiation with the surrounding air. Hearing voices was one of the few things he could do, he could also listen to the voice of the wind itself. It spoke to him in ways Apollo was never certian anyone else was able to do. He was the best flyer out of his siblings, being able to fly so far above the clouds none of his siblings could breathe at that altitude. Lately his connection to the air had become stronger, and yet Apollo still had no idea how to call upon some way to control it. He watched the trees sway at the invisible force, inhaling its crispness and coolness. Mesmerized, Apollo stood, opening his wings as the air flow went under and surrounded him. He called to it, wondering what secrets it held for him, and the more he wondered, the stronger the wind became.

Suddenly, Apollo was surrounded in a torrent of wind. He immediately lost all concentration and it ceased. He breathed heavily as he sunk back to the ground. Such a curious thing, the wind was. Gentle, and unseen, and yet it could become one of the most dangerous forces in the world.
