Have you ever notice the Arya dosen't hava pointy ears and isn't she supposed to have black hair. Or am i wrong i haven't read the book in a while. But i know Arya has pointy ears and there not even pointy like an elf whats up with that

IF you search in few other movie toppics you will find out that everyone noticed that she doesn't have pointy ears and black hairs..

They didn't stay true to the book.

Yes yes. Now its my turn to b**ch about the movie. They didn't put in the many sequences with Eragon and Saphira bonding. The never showed Jeod, which means the Roran story is not going to work. There were no different races except the different societies! AND NO ORIK!!! That infuriates me to no end!

I know it's going to be very hard to make another movie. IT WAS SO BAD! They are missing so many charters and they all look bad and don't act like they should. I can't belive some of my friends thought it was good, well they didn't read the book but. They should have had dwarves and Arya should I looked like an elf. I am so mad.

I'll be honest, I didn't even KNOW Arya was an Elf when I first saw the movie. I thought that perhaps she was apart of an Indian tribe or something like that, that was created in the books. I mean, I saw how she was dressed, all the natural stuff, seemed to fit. There were no pointy ears or anything, so I didn't know. I didn't find out until I got the DVDs! And I was like... she's an Elf? Seriously?

I can understand them not wanting her to look like Arwen from LOTR, but then they should have given her the long version of Elf ears, what we are all used too. In LOTR they had the short ones, so in Eragon, should have long ones. I doubt that a lot of people who saw the movie knew she was an elf until they got the DVDs or read the books.

And it was annoying that she didn't have the proper hair color. I've even heard that Eragon's hair was brown not blond (don't remember that when reading the book, but I might have missed it by mistake). I will saw at least his hair is a darker blond, kinda close to a light brown (even if it wasn't the right color), where as Arya's is a completely different color all together! I mean come on - red... black... they are no where near each other. ~ Shakes head ~

i know..i was very gad that i raed the book first but when i saw the movie i was dissapointed because arya was my 2nd fave character (after saphira). they couldnt even get her hair right...dispicable

Me and my mom both agree that the person who played Arya was not pretty enough to be an elf.

and not having that connection with brom is going have a big effect if they end up making the rest of the movies. that bond is a big part in brisingr

brom should have a bond with saphira and not arya because brom is eragon's father

the movie was the stupidest movie ever. they screwed up EVERYTHING. iT WAS HORRIBLE! and ya brom should have a connection with Saphira.

after i read eragon i went to the movie store and rented it out
i didnt expect to be the same exactly but they screwed it up so badly it wasnt funny
i was so mad at them for what they did i'm surprised i didnt hunt down the director with pitchforks.

well i don't know if anyone wrote this before but:
1. arya is not black haired
2. she looks little little too old (for a young elf)
3. she is too kind and she is not a 'loner' and she is too open for everyone
4. she told eragon she is a princess in the beginning
5. she doesn't have this big part in the story as she has in book

In the movie, Arya had pale skin and redish hair and even freckles!!!!!! Shes so thin she looks sick!

But if you din't read the books the movie was good.

Yeah, but it was based of the books. all they did was read the back cover and ask someone for personal deatials (such as brom's death). The only thing that worked with the books were the scens where he flew with Sapphira over moutians or somthing.

i'm suprised i didn't put a knife through the dvd and do what i do in fantasies to New York Yankee hats.

i bought the dvd, thinking the movie would be good, but when i was done watching it, i was so outraged that i snapped it into four pieces and threw it in a fire. WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN! OUTRAGEOUS!

Well it really doesn't matter if it was red or blonde. It could have been purple for all I care!! They still messed up her character and she wasn't even an elf. As for the movie, I think it is pretty safe to say THEY COMPLETELY MESSED UP!

Arya didn't act or look like the written character. One of the factors that made the movie terrible in almost every way.

With the script she was given she did well but.
1. They chose the wrong actress she has several wrong features.
2. They messed up Arya's personality changing things like the love interest and the power that Arya has.
3. They didn't bother to make her look like an elf.

If they make eldest into a movie i am dreading the Blood Oath Celebration.

what Eragon is going to Ellesmera at the end of Eragon the movie so how will there be a blood-oath celebration.

P.S this is one of the many problems with the movie.

In the books Eragon leaves with Arya to go to Ellesmera as she is the only one at the time outside of the woods who knows the way in. At the end of the film they had just parted with Arya going to Du Weldvarden and Eragon leaving the Varden.

Don't get me started on how many things are wrong with the movie.

I think there are quite a few things wrong with the movie I would say what number of things except nobody could count that high.

I started to make a list in another topic for why there won't be a second movie and near the end of the list I just started to mention things that were wrong with the movie some minor some major I think I got to around 45 separate points and that was of the top of my head. I could paste it here if you want.

I don't know if there is a second movie I don't think there will be considering how bad the first one is. Also numbaones can you give me a link to see the trailer of the second movie because I can't find it, I can only find these fan-made trailers.

There isnt a trailer it was fan made ive looked on almost every video site and came up with like 50 fan made trailers and no real ones of course there would only be one.

I think that it what I said I was asking for proof of a second movie I had already given proof to the contrary which you just repeated....

the movie was so insanely wrong i hated it. and i was halfway through Eragon when i saw it. It's so wrong its sickening
Eldest 2011 will hopefully be a HUGE improvement.
