well originally i had the entire cover text typed out, but it didn't post right, and there is no way I'm typing that again.
In general it has 4 main characters... 3 good, and one bad.
So theres a boy named Seeker who lives on an island called Anacrea, the "holy island", where a huge castle-monestary called the Nom is. The All-and-Only (Essentially, god.) lives there, and he is protected by a group of "fighter monks" called the Nomana. So Seeker, a girl on a farming island named Morning Star, and some crazy bandit named Wildman want to join, for various reasons, (e.g. Brother, Mother, Power) and they end up getting their "applications" declined, so they go out and destroy a secret weapon to get invited... which they do.
(wow the book text is soo much more enticing) but anyway, it's a good book and I rate it high.
