about 30 to 40 i'd say, including the dragonriders of pern, inheritance, riftwar saga, the hobbit, carole wilkinson's books, and some single books i read some ages ago. I don't really enjoy as much books that are based around dragons anymore due to the huge amount of such books that are coming up. i prefer books to be centred around something else

yes, he did. the communication. in DROP, a rider can sense the emotions of his/her dragon. CP took that and twisted it into clear communication

If you search 'dragons' in your public library's computer system you will find a great deal more of fantasy reading lol. If your library does not have such a system you can try the internet which will work even better.

I don't think these books are translated in other language.... They're only italian.... However these are the book's covers.... oh, I was wrong, it isn't a trilogy, now we're at the 4th book!!

its by Chris Bunch
This is whats on the back of the book

Young Hal Kailas is a runaway and a pauper, living hand-to-mouth in a kingdom where peace is by no means certain. But Hal has a dream. In his even younger days, he had the awesome experience of bonding with a young dragon-and the memory of the beast's great strength and power consumes his every thought. When war finally comes, the most daring and ruthless of men ride these fearsome dragons-monstrous weapons of war that are rulers of the sky. Few men are strong enough to bend a dragon's will, but Hal has reason to think he may be one of them.

Aye. Me too. I became a dragon fanatic at about 9 years old. Ive been reading about them ever since. Hey does anyone have Dragon Rider the book?

Dear me, It's been such a long tinme since last I've seen you in the forums. Hope you're OK. Kinda missed you.

I read a book called DRAGON RIDER by Cornelia Funke. Is that the one you are refering to? On the other hand I've read all the books that make up the Dragonriders of Pern series and I loved it. They are about 15-16 of them. AnneMacCaffrey's son has written two in colaboration with her and two on his own. I read Dragon's Kin and now I'm reading Dragon Fire; at the same time I'm re-reading The Dolphis of Pern. That has been my summer reading project.
