@Annie: what's the difference between Arya and some OTHER elf? Remember, there are only 2 of what the elves would consider "children", both probably much older than Eragon. So where are you getting the idea that this is any better???

Seriously, once, twice, three times, same thing. Any more than three, then you have to look a bit closer, but still, mentioned twice in passing and a hazy dream are not enough to denote the appearance of a character that will be important later.

well, I did leave over the school year, which is why I lost all of my minions... but I think bandbunny has been running around here every-so-often, and it seems as if a couple of newbies may yet become my new horde of minions.

I think maybe we're getting a little too excitied about this opinion of yours. Calming down is a good idea.

Anything is a possibility. There is a possibility that Eragon will suddenly discover how to summon lightning from his hands and kill everyone. Not very likely, but it's possible. We could argue about this for ages, but all the arguements have been posted already here.
