Yeah, I've read all of her books. The Lioness Quartet, The Immortals, and all of the circle books. Oh, and her Trickster duet and the Protector of the Small series. (Lol, that's a lot when I type it out like that.) I liked them, especially the Immortals.

I'm reading Trickster's Choice right now, the first one I've read by her. I know, I'm reading it out of order. Aly kinda seems more interesting to me, though. I think it'd be weird having the book in Alanna's perspective for some reason.

Mmmm...What are the newer ones? The circle books? I actually have a theory about those... What if the time period of Tris, Daja, Briar, and Sandry is the future of Tortall? I was thinking a couple of months back that the temple where they live and learn to use their magic could be the royal mage university of Tortall.

I dunno, like I said, it was a couple of months ago so I think I might have forgot some details.

I finished Trickster's Choice and it's made me realize that Pierce is really an amazingly sophisticated and talented writer. Personally, I think she's a higher level author than Paolini. Her books are like the older sister to the Inheritance Cycle.

Alanna? She was the main character in the first series ... the Daughter of the Lioness spinoff series was about her daughter, Aly.

Sandry is the one with thread magic.

Wait, what Annie? The Circle of Magic books are where she introduced SBT&D. Or are you talking about before they knew they were mages?

I read The Will of The Empress, but I didn't like it as much as the others.

Oh, and just for the record, Tris PWNS!!

My favs of TP's characters are Alanna, Daine, Tris, and Kel.

No, what I mean is that it has been some time since I read the Will of the Empress! I like the fact the four of them re-united in this book.

I liked it, but not as much as the original Circle of Magic series. I did not care too much for the Circle of Magic opens.

I agree Annie. I've got the first two Circle books in my backpack right now....I have to recheck them.... (It's taken me almost two weeks to finish The Eye of the World, book one of the Wheel of Time.)

@Shade: Lol, or she could do you like she did that serial killer in Shatterglass.

Lol, I love your avvy, DG177! Although whatshisname is my fav character because it's funny when he flips out 'cause somebody called him short. (Is it Ed?...I think that's his brother's name though...)

Yar, Daine is the awesomest character. And then Tris, and then Alanna.

Do you like the Daine and Numair pairing? I thought it was bound to happen but still kinda weird...

Yeah, I saw that coming, but it was kind of weird. I did the math one time and I think Numair was about.....*thinking about it*..... 7 yrs older than her.

Does Niko in the CoM books remind anyone else of Numair? She describes them in kind of the same way...Tall, black hair, black eyes. (I'm sure there's something else, but that's just the basics.) That's another reason for my theory about the temple and Summersea being the future of Tortall. Niko could be Numair's descendant.

Yeah, there's Tortall/Numair and Emelan/Niko. But that's what I'm trying to say. What if Emelan is the future of Tortall? Numair could be Niko's ancestor. I dunno, it makes sense, but then it doesn't. For one thing, in Tortall, the color of a mage's magic was different for each mage, but in Emelan the magic is always silver...I dunno, I think it would be awesome though if I were right.

Yeah.. that's be so awesome...
But maybe they've found a way to hide what colour their magic is to avoid detection then eventually they couldn't change it back... They can always wake up some random story

I love the Alanna of Trebond series. They were the best, in my opinion of the other books she wrote. That is just my opinion.

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Looking past the red waves of life's blood, I see my life flash past the battle field. the bodies of the dead lay before me in anguish as I sat atop my dragon, staring into the grim eyes of death as I readied my sword for the final battle...

I may be dumb, but Im not stupid.

I just realized. I have no friends... *burp*
