Will Orimis die before finishing Eragon's training or will he finish his training and then die?

I don't think Oromis will die before the end of Eragon's training. If he decides not to fight because of his wounds, there is no reason he should die too soon...
But if he decides to fight, then maybe Eragon will have to find another teacher...

I am almost sure oromis will die in the trilogy whether or not it will be before eragon finishes his training is a mystery to me

Hey it would be awesome if Oromis died and Eragon needed a teacher and then Arya taught him.

I'm not really sure... I think he will die soon, but I think he will teach Eragon until he's done with his training.

what if oromis is a spy for galby! then he could be teaching Eragon weak magic, while galby teaches murtagh powerful stuff. Hey! u never know!

I absolutely don't think Orimis is a spy! But I have this feeling he'll die maybe even before Eragon goes back to the elves place.

well oromis's mind is always open and the elves have control over him and his life so he is definitely not a spy. He has morals and ethics which he sticks to. Changing moral beliefs of a character is not a thing authors do... and he has no control over magic whatsoever which even he himself asserts so he is in no position to fight... so he would not expose himself to danger. And arya is not a rider... she might be able to teach eragon but never in the way paolini show that oromis can.

In eldest orimis specificly says he wants to stay alive untill the last dragon egg hatches. We dont know when this will happen but im pretty ure orimis will finish enough of his training. Then eragon mightgo to the vault of souls and get even more training and power from the other dragon riders.

Maybe somehow like Murtah or Galbykill Oromis and Eragon loses another person he cares for and goes psycho and kills galby or sumthin

In angela's fortune telling, she only mentioned one person he cared for dying, which was Brom. Maybe Oromis will just be captured or something, cos that would mean eragon would still be losing someone he cared for.

I think ormois will die after the training. But he will be near eragon when he starts to fade. Like he will be on his death bed and get someone to fetch eragon and in his last words he tells him an important peice of information that will help him defeat galby or make eragon stronger. Or he could tell where the vault of souls is, because who really knows where it could be.

i think u cud probs still b rite, he's probably holdin back summat that wud b 2 dangerous in an inexperienced riders hands

He has used that card a lot, he may tell Eragon how Galby's power always increases.

I think Eragon will come back to Oromis to finish his training and will find Oromis ready to die. He'll say, "But Master Oromis, you can't die. You have so much to teach me"
Oromis will reply, "There is nothing left for you to learn. And by the way smartypants, when you turn 5000 years old, you won't look at good as I do...."
