That's an idea! However, who would be the werecat's companion? We have seen and heard more of Solembum than Maud. Maud had no weight in the storyline. Blagden had more weight than her. But who knows??? Maybe we will have a third werecat who would take Eragon to the Rock of Kuthian or the Vault of Souls. _________________ ~.~.~.~.~.~

I myself really enjoy the werecats and was really mad that Solembum wasn't in the movie, but thats off topic... I think Maud will play a bigger role in the third book. I think Paolini just wanted to introduce her in Eldest. I don't know what that role will be probably leading Eragon to the Rock of Kuthian as people have said.
