Age:- She has been alive since the creation of the world.

Gender: - Female

Skills: Barrage- She uses the metal balls that she carries around in her pouch to pummel her foes. The balls are two inches in diameter and she has five of them. She can separate them and make them smaller in size or combine them to make them more painful to be hit by.

Light of the Soul- Vinixia was granted the power to use several of her angelic abilities, including this which can naturally affect a person’s soul but showing them the truth of their life. She can only do this twice a day because of her banishment. By showing someone the truth she is doing a good deed, and thus will use this whenever necessary.

Angelic Magic- Vinixia is allowed to use the Angelic Magic through the Angelic language. Theoretically she is also capable of using Rites, however she has never been presented the opportunity to try, and thus does not know. Because of her banishment, the magic drains her energy, although she has large stores of energy around her aura.

Aura- This is something that surrounds every being. Each aura can store energy, and also has a distinct tie with the soul. Because of Vinixia’s tie to the Earth she can influence certain beings auras, though she does not like to do this. This becomes exhausting after two or three uses.
Race: - Tainted (Previously a Purebred Angel, but was tainted by Lucifer and his lies)

Hair: - Her hair is cut short, and a very dark brown.

Eyes: - She has unusual orange/gold eyes that always seem to be open.

Home Village: - The Heavens

Parents: - God created her.

Siblings: - Technically none, though other Angels/Tainted are considered her family.

Character Personality: Vinixia is strong willed, yet finds some things hard to get over. Such as losing her name. She finds it hard to lose focus from getting herself fully redeemed. She fears that one day she may not be the Angel she once was, though there’s always the hope within her that says she will. She is very certain of herself, and very confident. People around her see that within her, and can’t help but be inspired on more than one occasion. She’s been known to befriend anyone in need so that she may help them. She is extremely loyal to a fault, almost. She would die for God, and anyone she believes is her friend. She is very business-like and diplomatic. She prefers to get work done before leisure time, and will see to it that everything gets finished completely.
Vinixia finds that she is very blunt to some people, yet also different for others. She has a versatile personality that will adapt to each person around her, being sweet one minute, and cold the next. She also finds that she is reliable in many situations, and quick to react to everything that is survival related. She enjoys being on adventures.

Character History: To tell Vinixia’s story we must go back to the day that she was stripped of her name. As all of the fallen angels, she was condemned to life on the earth, with only one hope of redemption. Because the Tainted- those who have fallen- fell with Lucifer, they were forced by God and those loyal to him to walk the earth, stripped of their Angelic names, their wings, and heavenly weapons, they walk the world, blending with humans, elves, anything that they wish to blend with. Several of the tainted have been known to even take up the life of dragon, or other larger creatures.

Vinixia was one of the last to fall, and one of the strongest to win over. She was known as the Angel with dominion over the earth, and her name was Araqiel. She was to maintain balance in the world that is earth, and she did for a time, sustaining relationships between species and creatures, surviving in what was the closest Alagaesia had ever seen to a perfect world. She was blessed directly by god, granting her with the sign of wisdom: eyes the color of golden-orange.

She continued on with her loyalties, protecting the earth from the darkness that threatened to spill over into its core. Then one day she was approached by Lucifer, God’s very favorite, the one whom listened and followed without question. Lucifer spoke with sweet lips, talking of fire, rebellion, winning for himself and all of the Angels who did the work for God without gaining anything back. Vinixia-then Araqiel- was horrified, but could not help the wonder in her heart. She remembered his words even now, “Join me, fair Araqiel, no kingdom should ever survive without you.” And she remembered stepping down the stairs to her kingdom, her earth, feeling shaken by the prospect of crossing God. The very being who had created the both of them.

Soon after she began to hear the whispers, and dark beings began clutching at her aura, fighting for the entrance to her world. She began to hear that Lucifer had gained many- had begun a faction that opposed God. She remembered specifically Gabriel’s words, then Michael’s, booming over the Heaven’s, “Shall you burn, Lucifer. Shall you burn.” She shook with the fear that every angel felt, yet knew in her heart that she was unable to deny that she was inclined to follow Lucifer.

Again he came, and again she denied his request, pleading that she could not betray her God, that he had forever loved her and again Lucifer left and she felt as if the darkness was attacking her again. The second time, days later she could feel the anger from Azrael and Abbadon. The twins of God, who fought for death and destruction of his enemies. She remembered their voices in unison, whispering across the heavens to Lucifer, “You may burn. We shall not.” And she again felt the fear that Lucifer instilled upon her.

The third time he came, he begged. He went to his knees, and held her hand, whispering his beliefs, and she could not deny his beauty. He clouded her mind and made her blind to that which even the smallest Cherubim could see: he was not beautiful, but a tainted creature.

From that moment on she could feel the black, tugging at her soul, infecting her. Filling her with such a blackness that she could not remember feeling worse. Then the day came, when Lucifer’s forces went forth against God, marching across the stone arches to his domain that was Heaven, and Vinixia remembered the sadness that illuminated her face, and her heart. The same sadness that Lucifer so deceivingly stole and hid behind.

“Who dares?” God’s voice was loud, speaking with the eerie tone of both woman and man, striking fear upon their souls. “Who dares to defy the love that I have blessed upon thee?” And God turned, blinding the Tainted with his light, “Lucifer, my child. How I doth love thee.” Vinixia felt herself collapse to the floor, tears streaming down her unseeing eyes, “Why dost thou betray me?” She remembered hearing nothing, she remembered waiting on her knees, blinded for what seemed like days.

Then God’s voice met her ears, “My fair Araqiel, thou are not fully tainted. Dost though wish forgiveness?” She remembered sobbing, crying out for forgiveness, “Dear Araqiel, thou shall have it. Search amongst thou Earth and redeem thyself. Never shall thou call thyself Araqiel, unless another dost say thy true name.” She felt something tearing in her heart, her soul, losing her name, unable to speak it, “Never shall thou fly upon the wings of light, unless thou are bestowed with them again.” She moved her wings, yet could no longer feel them, reaching around searching for them with her hand, “And never shall thou use thy sword, Aurati, unless it is bestowed upon thou again.” She could feel the sadness in his heart, and the ache in her own as he finished, “And thus, thou are banished. Thy hope of redemption lies in deeds, deeds of good, none of evil. Follow what I have taught thee and bring thy soul back to me.”

With that she found herself lying cold and wet upon the very earth that she had forever protected, not alone, but surrounded by the Tainted. All of whom were offered God’s deal. She saw many faces of the angel’s she recognized, and one by one they renamed each other. Thus she took the name of Vinixia, and parted with her fellows, her family and friends, to embark on her journey for redemption from the Lord.

Weapons: Aurati- Aurati was the celestial blade bestowed upon her by God, its name means “Light of the Earth”. Her blade is stronger even than that of the Rider’s swords made by Rhunon, though retain the same indestructible quality that they hold. Every Angel’s sword retains its own power. Her’s is able to construct, or destruct different things from the world. Which means she could create a tree with her swords power, or take one away, this is applicable to buildings, fortresses, etc. She must attain one large-scale good deed to receive her sword again.

Metal Balls- She doesn’t really have a name for these other than that they are made of a strange metal that God placed on Earth for the Tainted to use. They are indestructible, yet she can manipulate them in ways others can’t. She also has a sword made of the same material, yet she often prefers to use these, simply because of their versatile uses.

Sword: The sword made out of metal that God bestowed to the Tainted. It is common, yet indestructible. She uses it only until she can regain Aurati.
Likes: - Animals, people, doing deeds that redeem herself and her name.

Dislikes: - Thinking of Lucifer, remembering the feeling of flying.

Weakness / Fear: - Because she still has Angelic blood she still has a strong tolerance for almost anything that could harm her, however she is weak against some of God’s creations, such as Hellhounds Celestial Fire. Anything that generally targets the soul can harm her.

Animal Companions: - One the first day of her banishment she was interrupted by a Hellhound that made itself known to her. Her name is Alter and she is a pure black hellhound that is intelligent. She was roaming the world, keeping justice and peace with the creatures, but upon realizing that her charge was put to earth she decided to travel with her. She can do everything that other hellhounds can, but she has similar golden-orange eyes to Vinixia. (Alter has the same abilities as Garm, etc.)
Character's Physical Description: - Vinixia is around 5 foot 7. She had wings that were around seven feet each, and still has scars where they were wrenched from her body. She has gold-orange eyes. Her hair is cut short, to around her shoulders, just long enough so that she can keep it tied back. Her hair is very dark, though it used to be a dark blonde, it gradually changed when she was tainted. As she does good deeds her hair will lighten and scars will lessen along her body. As of right now she is riddled with small scars that are imperceptible to most eyes, though a good deal of more gifted people can see them.

Dreams for the Future: - To attain redemption.
Reason for Dreams: - She wishes to be with God again and regrets considering betrayal.
