Re: Mario Kart (for the Wii)
Yup.
I know! They always choose either Rainbow Road or Maple Treeway for me.. And you don't have Birdo yet? We unlocked him, but sadly I have no clue how. We just turned our game on one day and it said that we unlocked her. I don't even know what we did.
And by the way, do you have Wi-fi, Shade?

Okay, we still need to add your FC.
@Birdo: Seriously? We didn't really beat 250 people, but we still unlocked Birdo... hm.. idk.

Yeah, we should play sometime, Shade
Maybe we DID beat 250 people without knowing it....it didn't feel like we played all that much, though...

Definitely. We've never played a friend in Mario Kart yet.
Lol, me and Sokka probably lost track of how many races we've played.

Yeah...I'm not that great. I'm gonna get pwned.
So, I recently realized that the Flame Runner is a really good b,ike. I'll be using it now. Along with D.K. King Boo annoyed me. So...yeah. Except D.K. wails and moans for no apparent reason like every second...

Wait, can D.K. even use the Flame Runner because he's heavy? King Boo should be light.

Flame Runner is for heavy, I'm pretty sure. And King Boo is heavy. Seems like he wouldn't, but he is.

Re: Mario Kart (for the Wii)
it's not really the weight but the size that determines the kart/bike class
so that means that we're evenly matched! yoshi all the way!!!
I'll PM you when I can get on the Wii again

I'm pretty sure everyone could steal items....whenever you bump into someone in DD, right? Yep, I think the person not driving could steal an item from others

Re: Mario Kart (for the Wii)
Oh, I use the GC controller lol. It's easier to do wheelies that way. No awkward jerking required, just press a simple button Plus, I have no idea how to drift using the wheel....

Re: Mario Kart (for the Wii)
You just have to hold B while turning, but getting the flames is more complicated. It's similar to the GC controller because R and B are the same and you use those to drift. Whell is harder because you have to shake the wheel on every turn and everything. Plus, I never figured out how to do a wheelie.
To steal items in DD, you have to be playing with two players and the one who isn't driving has to press L or R when next to someone to punch them and steal their item. That was fun

Oh, so anyone can steal items in DD... lol I forgot. It's been a long time since we've played that game... But I remember using Waluigi and punching people to steal their mushrooms.

Yeah, it was so cool! You can even steal people's stars and stuff! That is, if they don't use it before you take it.
Anyway, does anyone know how to unlock Baby Luigi? I think it said that we have to beat every ghost in time trials, so we're almost done that. Actually, we have on more level to do and that's N64 Bowser's Castle. I'll see what happens after he beats it.

I can imagine stealing a Bullet Bill from someone if they had them in those games.
I'm not so sure... but didn't Shade post a link to a bunch of cheats and unlockables not too long ago? Let me go check....
EDIT: Found it. EDIT 2: Whoa! We just unlocked Toadette, Baby Luigi, Funky Kong, the Magikruiser, and the Spear all at the same time! Lol, that was very strange...

Re: Mario Kart (for the Wii)
I'm not exactly sure, but I know that for like 3 characters, you have to do something involving Time Trials. That's why I got Baby Luigi, Toadette, and Funky Kong all at the same time. And I somehow got 4 b.ikes... Anyway, here's a great link to unlock everything: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/wii/code/942008.html
Except some of the b.ikes have alternative names in that link, so just do what it tells you.

For a second, I though that link said game f@gs, lmao.
I doubt we'll ever be able to unlock Rosalina.

Lol, maybe, but you guys are pretty good at it, too.
I realized recently that the Wario Bike is really fast. I was watching Toph play with Yoshi on the Mach Bike, and that's how I figured out. No offense to Toph or Yoshi or the Mach Bike.

No, Waluigi can use it too. I'm guessing only those two can.
EDIT: Sokka just unlocked Dry Bowser somehow! Ha, we beat you to it, alpha! Lol, jk.

Yeah, it seems popular.
I'm not too sure, but I think that Bowser might be able to use it. I'll have to check.
Lol it wasn't that hard actually. You just have to get a star rank on every cup in 150cc. It's actually easier then getting Rosalina, so I don't know why he didn't get him yet.

They already have the game I think. We need to get their Friend Code so we can battle them online! And forsworn too!

I think we need to get the Wii Charger thing. It sounds good.
And firebender786 and airbender aang7861 are going to be at your house, so if they bring their two Wii Motes, there'll be four! I wonder how those two are at the game...

Yeah, we'll have to see. And by the way, did you learn how to drift yet? Because I use it a lot and it helps if you play on Manual since you can get mini-boosts. But for karts, you can do super mini-boosts!

I think the controller is much easier to use, mainly because of the turning. And you can get what?

Oh, okay. And we'll bring our 4 GC controllers because we use those.
The only character left that we need to unlock is Rosalina, which we could get today if Aang stopped playing on Wi-fi! lol

Yeah, that's the same for me. Some people say you have to get used to it by using the wheel a lot. But I'm already used to the GC controller.
We still haven't played anyone on here in the game. We registered Shade's Friend Code, but I don't know if he's done the same for us yet.

I'm only at my dad's every other weekend that would be this coming weekend or the 6th and 7th and yes I've added your friend code (assuming that you all use the same file to play) though I'd like to know why it took you so long to get Rosalina I got her by just starting up the game my 3rd time playing.... (you are open this weekend right? I'm good just about any time saturday after 1PM central)

Re: Mario Kart (for the Wii)
Alright, we'll try to be online this weekend.
Wait, do you have Super Mario Galaxy? Because I've heard that you unlock her faster if you have Galaxy data on your Wii. We don't have the game, so we had to get a Star Ranking on every Mirror Cup. Maybe you're just better than us.

Yeah, alphabetsoup said that if you Galaxy, then you can unlock Rosalina faster with the data on your Wii. I think it's true.

We should. And maybe you could play Toph and Arya next time too. But do you know how to get more people to play? It would have been more exciting if it wasn't one-on-one but with 5 people.

Re: Mario Kart (for the Wii)
It is? Really? When we played you, we joined your game and when we did, it only allowed 1 player to race from our side. It didn't give an option for two people. Maybe only the person who hosts the races can have two players...

Yeah, did you get any of the Expert staff ghosts? To get them, you have to beat the first ghost by at lest 7 seconds. The more you do, the more cars and stuff you get.

Re: Mario Kart (for the Wii)
Lol that's weird, because you're really supposed to get Dry Bowser before Rosalina. Another person I know did that too. You need to get a star rank on every cup in 150cc to get Dry Bowser, but a star rank on every cup in Mirror Mode to get Rosalina, so if you have Rosalina, you should have Dry Bowser.

What? No I'm not, my siblings and you guys are just as good as me! But thanks anyway.
So are there any other people on SF who play Mario Kart? We'd be happy to play any of you over Wi-fi ("we" as in me, Arya, Toph, and Aang).

It is kind of sad... maybe it's just because of school right now though. I can guarantee there will be many more opponents during summer. I personally haven't played for a while, but I do play some Brawl and Guitar Hero.

Another game? Wait, you guys already played before? The only person I've played over Wi-fi here on SF was Shade; I didn't know you guys had this game, much less Wi-fi!
Either way, we (me, Toph, Sokka, and Arya) would be glad to play you guys! I'm pretty sure Wolvie also has this game (he seems to have every game ), so he could join in. Do you know how many people we can have in each race?
By the way, Valk, don't you have Brawl? You're one of the people we've never played!
