Who else is there that is "royalty"? Galby doesn't have any daughters, the varden dosen't have kings and queens, I doubt it would be a dwarf, so that only leaves the elves. Arya is all of those things mentioned, and he basicly fell in love with her when he first saw her in his dreams. And i just thought of something... it says the love is "strong enought to outlast empires", so that could be forshadowing to the next book (Empire), that mabey then she will either relize or admit that she loves him, or grow to love him. I think that regardless if she loved him befor, she will come to love him eventually.

Another good point. Angela has a tendency to say one thing and mean another, but I think her prophecies, just like Solembum's, will turn out to be just what they mean when the time comes.

I know this was said befor, but i also agree that one of the reasons that she may be keeping her feelings in is because of his training. let's admit it, the boy does get distracted easily i think. atleat when it comes to Arya.

I have been looking for evidence which support Ayra "loving" Eragon and I have dissected the book.
I'MNOTCRAZY is in the right when he says, Ayra doesn't love him. She tried to be kind and friendly to him and he has confused this, infatuated as he is, but not in Eragon or Eldest, CP has provided evidence of this.

That is a possibility. I thought you said it DID happen, not it WILL happen. That definately could happen. But I'm guessing it will be relitively simultaneous with Saphira and Greenie. Not durring training.

May I bring your attention to this part of the quote, "I cannot say if this passion will end happily". That means that his love might not be returned. As of now it hasn't been.

I agree. but the 3 book hasn't been finished and we won't know until it is. so i'm gonna keep my hopes up
