Just saw the movie, thought it was AWESOME and pretty funny as well!
If you go see it, be sure to check out the teaser for 'Captain America: The First Avenger' after the credits as well! ;)

Thor was an amazing movie. I loved it and will probably go see it in the theators again. As Wolv said it is funny, but a good funny that doesn't take away from the plot.
I recomend it to all!

I went to go and see that last night with my dad! And boy was it EPIC! I absolutely loved it!

For some reason my favorite character ended up being Loki though instead of Thor. I've been thinking about that, because I tend to love and hate some characters for no reason, and I've come to the conclusion that I felt sorry for him.

Saw it last night as well. It was really good. I didn't think it was anything amazing though. The storyline was very slow moving and led the film to be dull in many moments.

I'm not sure how you can see it like that personally...I believe it was great that they took their time developing the story. To many movies rush through the story line.

They took too long in my opinion. Even the intro, just getting to the story took way too long.

I didn't find it boring at all..... and I've watched some pretty boring movies. I actually found the introduction quite interesting!

And as Rien said, there are a lot of movies that rush through the storyline and that really does not make for a very good movie. At all.

Lol I didnt say it was a boring movie, just slow which led to dull moments.
Maybe its because I'm one of those people who already knew Thor's story but I stand by that it was too slow. I dont think you have to "rush" through a story to make it faster paced

Post Re: THOR
Ohh! Well that might make a difference. I had never heard of Thor until my dad mentioned it to me. Well, I knew the myths. Mum got me a book of Norse myths at about this time last year. I didn't even know there was a comic until after I watched the movie.

And as something completely different, I just finished my third watching of it. I found a rather good link to it online, y'see. And now I'm just replaying that scene in the end where Loki falls over and over again. I just feel so sorry for him. To me at least, it seemed that all he really wanted was to be Thor's equal, to be worthy of being Odin's son, to make Odin proud. But that was something he never succeeded in no matter how hard he tried.

Sorry...... extremely weird obsession has been taking place since I watched the movie.

:D Oh my gosh, I've only heard about this film a lot and know that it's one of those that I'll just have to watch. (Mainly for Loki...love Loki) and the plot sounds just so fantastic. Mum's going to look it up on the com later today so hopefully we'll be able to watch it soon.
