Hey guys. Sorry I haven't responded yet. I've been so busy with work and school that I've been too burned out to do much else. I've got some plans for some new characters though. Ever since I played Assassin's Creed 4, I've been in a sort of "piraty" mood and I've got plans for a pirate character.

Also, I've been planning to introduce a gnoll character (werewolf-like hyena thing).

Surprisingly, I decided to check here after another year. My things have changed.

Shame nobody really comes around anymore :(

So I was board and logged in, seems like there are still a few that visit every now and then. How is life for yall?

Ok so this board has been down for months and I've just been checking on it periodically to see if it was back up. I'm probably the only one who still comes here...

The site has been offline for months. I always got some kind of server error or something. I just randomly checked on it a week ago and it was back up.

It sucks because we actually had a few people coming back and then the website went down.

It's sad because it used to be such a fun and exciting place. Sometimes I go back and read through some of my old RPs looking for fanfic ideas. I'm giving Fletcher his own fanfic since I can't find anyone to RP with.

Does anyone know what happened to make the servers go down? Or are we filing it under the "Technological Anomaly" category, subsection "Things That Happen That No One Has an Answer to".

All I know is that it was down for months and then it was randomly back up again.

I've been writing stories about my RP characters.

Also, I discovered a really awesome book series called "The Summer King Chronicles" about gryphons. It's nice to actually see good literature focusing on gryphons.

I hate seeing what's happened to this site. I've never found another RP like this one. Everyone else wants to stick to canon and some won't even let you use dragons or Riders. Canon purists are BORING!

I've been fulfilling my Inheritance needs by writing fanfiction. Here are the stories I've been posting on Fanfiction.net and Deviantart. All these stories take place in the same universe.

"Saphira" -A story centering around Brom and his dragon, Saphira I. It tells their story and details the downfall of the Dragon Riders. Morzan and his dragon, Ragnarok, are depicted a bit more sympathetically than the books make them out to be.

"Something Far More Dangerous" -Set shortly after The Fall, Morzan and Ragnarok are sent by Galbatorix to the land of Danthuania in search of surviving Riders and dragons. Instead, they find a clan of gryphons being hunted by a cruel king, and are torn between fulfilling their mission or helping their new friends win back their freedom.

"The Blood of a Gryphon" -The story of Fletcher the gryphon. It also focuses on his parents, who play a much larger role than they did in the RPs on this site.

"Tales" -A series of short stories including the downfall of Natagath, some back story on Fletcher's parents, a tragic love story involving Saphira I and Ragnarok, and a teaser for a future project I have planned.

"Inheritance Legacy: The Riders Reborn" -A hard alternate storyline for the Inheritance Cycle. A threat even greater than Galbatorix has emerged and the gods decide to resurrect several dead people to save the world from this great evil. Alongside Eragon and Saphira, and Brom (he didn't die in this timeline), the resurrected characters include Saphira I, Morzan and Ragnarok, Jarnunvosk, and another as-of-yet unnamed dragon and Rider. This is an "Avengers" type setup which features many of the characters from the previously mentioned stories. Each character gets their own story arc, with Eragon and Saphira undergoing their training, Oromis and GLaedr trying to rebuild the Dragon Riders, Morzan and Ragnarok trying to earn their redemption, Ragnarok and Saphira I trying to rekindle their relationship, Jarnunvosk trying to save the soul of her crazed former Rider, and all of them having to save the world.



"Distant Seas" -A story that I haven't started on yet, but it will be a follow-up to "Legacy". Alagaesia is recovering and the Dragon Riders are being rebuilt. Jarnunvosk, now Riderless and haunted by her painful past and struggling to find her place in the world, sets off for the tropical island paradise of Kokamona to do some soul searching. However, her tropical getaway is cut short when the island paradise and its inhabitants are threatened by a sinister evil force. I've grown rather attached to Jarnunvosk while writing about her in "Legacy" and while this story was originally going to center on Brom and Saphira I's adventures after the war, I decided to make Jarnunvosk the main character instead. Besides, Brom and Saphi were already features in several other stories. Overall I plan for it to be a more lighthearted story than "Legacy", featuring voodoo magic, battles with pirates, and an evil shade, all while set in a tropical Caribbean-like setting.

Here is my occasional check in post. Seems like forever ago that I used to check here daily.

I still check in every once an a while. I miss this place when it was still active. I haven't been able to find any Eragon RP sites anywhere else. At least none that offered the same freedom and adventures as this one.

Wow, i think its been around 11 years since i last logged onto SF. I hope everybody is doing well in life, i miss all of you and the good times we had on this forum talking about theories and waiting together for the new books!
