Among the urgals, Kulls, Shades, Fanghurns, Ra'zacs and the other monsters in the story. Which one do you guys LIke best? I DEFINITELY think Fanghurns are cute but the Ra'zacs are so CREATIVE! I mean, it's so exceptionally original of Christopher Paolini to INVENT such a monster, I never even read something SIMILAR to it in other stories!

i think the urgals are kinda cool. since they are smarter than most (expet the Ra-zac) but they arn't totaly powerful.

I dun like the urgals for their power or strength, instead I like their heart and valor. Did you read the part where Eragon was reading through the Urgal warchief's mind? Did you read where Eragon saw the YOUNG warchief's mother cradling him in her arms when he was young, combing his hair and singing a song? When I read that part, I suddenly felt Urgals are not so far apart from Elves, Dwarves and humans. They too have a heart and feelings, then again they aren't BORN evil. They were tricked by Durza the Shade and Galbatorix the Scumbag....

of course i read those parts. i don't skip around in the books when im reading them.

If you ask me... I think the most HORRIBLE monster in Galbatorix.... I mean, he is a HUMAN BEING and yet he manage to bring suffering to every living thing on Alagaesia! THAT is really a MONSTER, kinda reminds me of Osama Bin Laden. Terrible!

But let's NOT stray from the topic, according to the stats rite now, most ppl like fanghurns and shades... I really wonder if shades have the same powers of elves or their powers can overcome those of an elf? Hmm...

i think that they are more powerful than an elf in the fact that they are so much harder to kill. if you were up against another human and you HAD to kill them by stabbing them in the heart, they would definately have the advantage.

Eragon killed Durza by a stroke of luck, while Ajihad only managed to scar his blade. HOW GOOD IS THIS SHADE AT SWORDFIGHTING???

Talking bout' spirits, Durza tried to consume Eragon instead when Eragon managed to kill the Shade, rite? Was that what happened? And Oromis managed to clear Eragon's mind and drive Durza out? The Cripple Who Is Whole has such powers to ward off evil spirits?
