i agree with you there. no one really talks about the books anymore, because, except for new members, everyone has exhausted their own ideas and seen everyone elses.

that's what i thought, but the first time i read it, it threw me. no, i havn't seen him in a while. a number of people havn't been on too much.

a lot of people move on, but i love it here, and don't plan on leaving any time soon!!

Valkie, I was counting on you!

So let's see, Valkie has made 5.522 posts, Imnc has made, 4,095 and I've made 5,396. So between us three we have more or less 15K posts. Not bad....
And if we add Firetongue's 8,242 ( ) it adds up to some 23K posts.
And that's only us 4. Not bad. I gather it IS a cause for celebration!!!

(I'm not counting the spammer's posts).

wolvies post at the start of this topic was the 200k mark, counting deleted ones. not counting them, we have a ways to go.

and of course its a cause for celebration!! the top 10 probably have around 50k alone!!

love the smiey, annie!! your mosh one was good, but this one surpasses it by far!! maybe since i joined later, its hard to beleive that we've made that many posts. it also amazing to look at the top ones and all the contibutions they've made, not just # of posts, but to the forum as a whole.

I started reading and thinking, and honestly, with all the words "Off Topic" that have been posted. subtract about 600 posts from each of your guys post counts lol... just thought that would be an interesting statistic. (this is throughout the entire forum.)

w/o some off topic posts and some sub-topic posts that are borderline off-topic, threads get boring. a little deviation is never a bad thing.

yeah, some times you just want to talk or a conversation gets started, and its about something that theres no topic about. it can get overboard though

Just as a though, someone said earlier that 5000 posts isn't a lot of posts. In my opinion that's a heck of an achievement. (Although personally I value quality over quantity)

quality is more important than quantity, but 5000, for a single person is a lot, while for a group, its not.
