Dear Inheritance Forum Members -

Lately, Inheritance Forums has turned into a breeding ground for spam, hate, and a sour attitude that simply isn’t what Inheritance Forums used to be. The staff of Inheritance Forums and Shur’tugal has reached our boiling point, and it’s time for a change.

When I started this forum as EragonForums.com, we were a close-knit community of fans and friends who always got along. People would disagree with each other, but in a kind way. People would point out errors or questionable content in a polite and respectful manner.

But things have changed. The majority of you don’t realize that Inheritance Forums is not a right – Inheritance Forums is a privilege. Too many of you have taken the forums for granted for too long. Unfortunately, by doing so, you’ve ruined something that so many people have enjoyed for so long.

The forums are now closed for a revamping. This revamping will take no more than three days. Over the course of this revamping, we hope to accomplish a few things. We also hope to give you all time to reflect, think, and maybe come up with some better ideas on how we can make Inheritance Forums a better community.

For those of you who are interested, here are our intentions:

- Get rid of the spam, hate, anti-talk, etc. There’s a fine line between being critical and being nasty. Many people have crossed this line.
- New rules. The old rules worked when we were a small community. They won’t fly any more.
- No more three strikes. If you break a rule, you’re gone. We don’t have time to deal with trouble makers on a daily basis.
- Search for more staff. We need more – there’s no question to it.

umm one question.. is this for like saphira forums too? cuz your talking about shurtugal ( which is a sweet sight and i get all my updates from their but im not part of your guys forums) ??

Yes, sorry for posting in your locked topic, fathskie, but Lardoslove, I'm not sure if you're aware of the (sometime amusing) rivalry between us and shurtugal/inheritance forums? lol

But us 1 has the most friendly board
