Yeah, platform titles like that make me angry because I don't want to pay huge amounts of cash to get an XBOX or a 360 just to play acouple good games. Like RC or Mass Effect.

And the RC books are set about 50 years before LOTF, so she would be in her 70's or 80's. It's possible.

i've only read the first darth bane, but want to read the second--and Death star was good. the characters , though minor, were interesting.

What about the Death Star does the book talk about?

its basically what happens to the DS from insiders perspectives--from its creation to destruction. from a bar owner, a pilot, librarian, doctor, prisoner, etc. its pretty good-doesn't add a lot to EU, but it's interesting to see the death star's story from ordinary people, and minor ppl.

How are you doing on the NJO books?

finished re-reading them--it'd been a while, so i re-read them all. they're great books, at least, most are. Dark Journey and Traitor not so much, but traitor had a few good quotes. and gave a great perspective on the force. Zonoma sekot was cool too. i've got all but the first 3 now--got those from my cousin. she's awesome--got me started on NJO, and a few others.

Yeah, some of them were a little off, in decribing the characters I guess. But I think that Star by Star, The Unifying Force, and maybe the Force Heretics(for tying up loose ends-the Vong beating everyone) were my favorites. And the living planet was cool

those were good--Unifying Force was SOOOOOOO heavy in paperback. but it explained alot. didn't like Tahiris whole deal--kinda wierd, confusing then, etc.

Traitor was just confusing and weird, a little.

The Unifying Force I thought did do a good job with just about everything.(It is heavy:))
The battle at the end with Zonoma Sekot was amazing.

yeah--it was interesting to see how that tied into the vongese, and their past--where they came from, yuzhan'tar, their force-notbeingthere-ness, etc. and onimi!! Wow!! did NOT see that coming!

Yeah, I had no idea that he was the Supreme Overlord!
And the Force thing was interesting, especially about how Onimi reclaimed it, but I was disappointed when they never expanded on it. Same with the vongese, they just disappeared. The thing with the Jacen whirlwind was kind of confusing too.
By the way, do you think Nom Anor is still alive?

nah--i think he died aboard the ship--but it would be just like him to somehow survive.

yeah, i have no clue how he reclaimed the force, but i think it'd be hard for them to explain, so they won't. but i was shocked too.

their mentioned some in the Dark Nest, at the beginning of the first, and the bothans want them all dead, but....got to go to bed soon. need sleep

I just read it too, I didn't think it was that bad. She was obviously leaving out parts about the clones for Order 66, but that's to be expected. Apparently that Jedi girl died, and the part w/Fett at the end was kind of odd, but...

which "jedi girl"? Jaina, Tahiri? and the part with Fett from "Invincible"? KT didn't write that, so maybe that's why....

Oh, I meant the jedi girl from RC, who must have died sometime.
Yeah, the Invincible part was a little strange, but the previews of the next book rarely make sense.

Well, the new RepCom is out, and was AMAZING. There will be a fifth, so I've heard, and is to be called Imperial Commando. Order 66 is in hardcover now, and paperback in October.

I'll admit I completely forgot about this...I'll see if I can dig it up with Brisingr in the city somewhere. Hmm, I've got to get it so we can hash it out again
