i was going through the eldest discussion and one of the people who posted a topic was saying that murtagh said that zarroc should go to the eldest,not the youngest which means there is three children.galby might be eragon's brother.morzan might have been persueded by galby doesn't mean that morzan was younger does it?

no, it could still be two kids. murtagh oldest, eragon the youngest. when you're talking about kids, you still use the superlative, so it's still two. and eragon and murtagh are actually step-brothers.

It has been said by Ooramis that Morzan was Brom's idol and big brother figure which implies that Brom can't be older, so he should be the same age or younger.
All three were in training at the same time, which to me sounds like they were all in the same class so to speak. They were all probably very close in age.
If Galbatorix exercised complete dominance over his forsworn, it is possible that he could father a child with Selena. Morzan would not be able to object.

Now in the book there is no evidence to suggest that Eragon lacks another sibling, there is also no evidence to say he does not have a sibling either. You can neither prove or disprove it. I do have the suspicion that the teen girl who consulted with Angela will cross Eragon's path in the future and play a big role, as a sister or as a friend or even as a lover. We don't know yet. We can speculate, and I love to speculate.
