There's a guy @ my school that i really like but he barely notices i exist...
it doesn't help that i'm a really shy person

wow that is kind of a hard one!!!! at least i have never been in that situation myself!! well i liked my current bf in my junior year of high school but apparently he didnt like me back so i would talk to him a lil not a lot and i showed him who i was and i guess he feel in love with me eventually thsi was at the end of my junior year i liked him he didnt ask me out on a date until senior yr homecoming!! so i dont think that will help but whatever!! i tried!!

In my opinion, it’s all up to you. It depends on how important this is to you. I can tell you one thing from experience: if you don’t talk to them, the odds are they will never know. Guys can be remarkably dense about some things. I hesitate saying anything else because in the end it depends on you. Also I don’t want to mess anything up, hopefully that helps somewhat

No, no, girls need to stand tall and strong, and be the aura of confidence. I'm not a chick, but thats what most guys like - a girl who's strong.

Well what's your objective now, anja? What does your heart want? I mean.. we should act towards our objective, aren't we? If you want him to know that you're exist, then do things that make him know that you exist. If you want him to know that you like him, make him know that too. If you want to be his girlfriend, then prepare to move out from your safe-zone and face all the risk and efforts.

But if you simply not comfortable.. maybe you should alter your objective, as a secret admirer, perhaps? or anything that makes you happy enough at this point... hehe. Hope it helps

to get him to notice you, maybe first, you should ask him a question about something he knows, like, if yiour in a class with him, ask him a question about the homework, if your near him, or pretend to be lost when your near him and ask where a certain room is or part of the school. or something.

he's kind of a more loud person (in a good way), and he mostly talks to the popular people. unfortunately, thats not me
he lives about a block away from me, but i don't want to be all creepy and stalk him or anything (my next-door neighbor is stalking me--believe me, it's scary and annoying and it doesn't make me more interested in him). also most of my friends don't like him so i can't ask them for help, the only one who does like him REALLY likes him, so she'd get mad if i asked her for advice
