Has anyone thought of Queen Islandzadi dieing? I think it would be plausable because elven kings/queens fight with their armies. Also CP likes to throw us some curveballs and twist things up. plus it could give Arya even more motives to get revenge on Galby

Its actually quite probable that she will die...
All the leaders seem to be dying and I see a pattern...
They die, and are replaced by someone who trusts and is friends with Eragon...

I happen to agree with you about this. Although it doesn't seem to be just people who know Eragon - it seems to be the heir of the last leader:

Leader of Riders ---> Brom (technically, even though his dragon died) ---> Eragon
Last of the Forsworn ---> Morzan ---> Murtagh
Dwarf King ---> Hrothgar ---> Orik
Leader of the Varden ---> Ajihad ---> Nasuada

If Islanzadi did die, it follows the pattern that Arya would become the new Queen

Don't like her, don't mind if she does die, but more than likely she won't, I can't see a way for her to die.

If she fights? If she sacrifices herself to clear a path in teh "last battle" for Eragon?

Perhaps she dies to save Arya way to repay the 70 years when she wouldn't see her.

I don't really like Islanzadi that much. She is far too foolish for someone her age and it's really annoying how she treated Arya for all those years! I think she has a high chance of dying.

Perhaps she dies to save Eragon from Galby or on a rescue attempt for the last egg.

i think she will die similar to hrothgar, on the field just zapped.

The elven spellcaster's are much more powerful than the dwarven spellcasters so it would probably have to be Galby himself to overcome all those spellcasters and wouldn't that go against what we know about Galby ie: he only cares about Uru'baen.

yeah, they are all stronger, but they probably wont be defending her that much..

Why wouldn't they be defending her as much. She can defend herself and they probably don't expect any big attacks so what would stop them from protecting their monarch like the dwarves did with their King?

my bad. it took 12 (no, 13?) elves to defeat murtagh plus eragon and saphira.
I dont think she will have THAT much protection.

If eleven spellcaster fight like the varden's spellcasters their minds will be linked and the wards around The Queen will probably have most if not all of the elven spellcaster's contributing to it. Remember elves aren't stupid they know what happened to the dwarves and will try to stop the same happening to themselves. Also Islanzadi could just store energy in an item like a gem that uses that energy to maintain wards around her this wouldn't even require any elven spellcaster and the wards would only use energy when activated.

i agree with dragon girl. i figured islanzadi would die in book three.
each faction has lost their leader. however CP has been tricking us alot think about book threes name everyone thought it would follow the

I really want book 4 to come out soon. Islanzadi never really liked Eragon. I think she will either die defending Arya or Eragon or die creating a path to Eagon killing Galby. Her death won't be meaningless like Hrothgars though. It won't just be a zapped on the battlefield death. Her death will improve Eragon's chance killing Galby. Arya would then become queen. Thr only problem with this is that if Eragon and Arya got together Eragon would have to become king which he doesn't want to do, even though it would be great if Eragon became king of the elves.

Hrothgars death wasn't pointless in enabled Orik to become King and enabled Eragon to convince Nasauda to allow him and Saphira to fly back and meet Oromis, learn about Brom being Eragon's father and find out the truth about the eldunari.

Eragon would have gone back to see Oromis anyway. I know that Hrothgar's deathe wasn't meaningless,it is just thet peaple are saying that Islanzadi will just get zapped on the battlefield like Hrothgar.
