Skills: Elfrida is able to use magic without energy, due to both her blood, and something that happened at birth. As Elfrida grew stronger with energy-less magic, she lost the ability to use any weapon but magic.
Elfrida can still change into a large cat, but that grows harder to do every time she uses dark magic.
When Elfrida was possessed by darkness, she gained wings that appear when Darkness has the upper hand in her mind.
New Magic: Hidden storm: This is a combination of three spells which makes Elfrida completely invisible, but allows her to attack with a lightning storm, and be very swift at the same time.
Darkness: When Darkness is in complete control, Wings appear which give the ability of flight. Darkness is able to use swords, and other weapons besides magic.
The Other Voice is able to use Light magic, and send any spirits - even shades - to the death realm.

Character Personality: At times Elfrida can be very disagreeable and hard-headed, while at others she is willing and ready for advice. Elfrida has a notable temper, exploding in anger occasionally--especially when people talk about her brother whom she hates with a passion.
Elfrida used to be very hasty, but that has been burned out of her. Another thing about her is that she does not care much about her own life, but is willing to sacrifice herself for others. Elfrida tends to travel in empty wildernesses for months just to get away from people, although when one she cares for needs her she goes to them with all speed.
Elfrida never felt the need to care for anyone in a special way except her horse and dead wolf, until she met two whom she now guards, and regards as young brothers.
Everywhere Elfrida goes she is hated by most all humans, therefore when she kills one she thinks of it as the killing of an Urgal is to a human. Elfrida cares more for Urgals than most any other race.
Elfrida used to constantly turn herself into a cat as she found it to be an easy way to spy on someone--or hide for that matter. She still does it occasionally, but rarely finds the need to as she is usually alone.
At night she often wears the color black to blend in, while during the day she wears a buckskin tunic, leggings, and cloak. Elfrida loves to be alone where she can plot the downfall of others (the reason being because her only real friends are Blacknight and Death Haunt, and a handful of others--the rest died, or betrayed her trust) She lost the trust of most living beings that she once had because of the betrayal of her trust. When ever she sees another living being her first instinct is to use magic to bind--especially when she's startled.
Updated: Elfrida is very serious now, rarely smiling or laughing since Darkness entered her. More coming soon.

Character History: When she was born, Elfrida was given a gift, or curse. Her curse was one that was meant to shake the world to it's foundations. A curse that could make her the most hated being in Alagaesia. Ever since, Elfrida has lived with a darkness inside of her so dark, that it would terrify even the most evil of shades.
Elfrida's parents died when she was about five years old. The way they died was by the knife blade of her brother--who wanted to inherit all that they had. After Wulfe killed them, he took his sister wherever he went for five years. In the time Elfrida spent with her brother she learned how to hate him.
Wulfe abandoned Elfrida when she found out that he was the one who killed their parents, and she was found by a nomadic tribe. For the next portion of her life Elfrida lived in the Haradac doing tasks for others and learning how to use the blade and the bow.
As soon as she was old enough Elfrida started hunting for a living. While living with the Nomadic tribe, there was one person in it who taught her how to speak the Ancient language, and her letters. Then one night when she was about fifteen her brother returned for one night, and fatally wounded Elfrida's tutor. Before he died Elfrida's tutor gave her an Elven sword and Elven bow and some words of wisdom on how she should live out her life.
Elfrida's anger and hatred towards her brother became greater when her Tutor died of his wounds. For ten more years she lived among the Nomadic people, living no longer as a free person-but a slave.
Now she has left the tribe seeking a new life. One of the things she does best is being a thorn in the side of all the followers of Galbatorix- whom she hates for what he did to the Urgals. She knows almost every foot of the desert when it's at it's thinnest between the Beor mountains and Du Weldenvarden, and she used to constantly traveled them. She finally left the desert and started searching for her brother.
When ever she sees a Dragon or it's rider, her heart races as she thinks of the power they could use against Galbatorix--whom she has vowed never to serve. She also made a vow to kill her brother. There were many times where Elfrida would come close to death--because of her hastiness and over excitement of fighting--and was only saved by the loyalty of her Horse and Wolf friends.
Other times when she was captured, she was able to use magic to destroy the ropes and turn into a cat to escape. The only skill she ever prided herself in was magic--because no matter the spell (unless trying to bring someone back from the dead) she has never lost any energy.
Now Elfrida faces the darkness within herself, and many other things in the world. Because of her werecat blood she often has visions, and she often feels she is weighed down by the problems of the world. In one of Elfrida's visions she learned of two boys--well young men, but boys to her because they're both younger than her--and learned she was to become their guardian.
Elfrida one day encountered the one she was cursed to meet, and was possessed by darkness, as well as an insane being, whom she knows little about. Elfrida was given a gift to bear the heart-pains of others, which she has little chance to use. Now Elfrida fights the darkness within herself while trying to protect her two charges. Animal Companions: - Her horse - Blacknight, and the spirit of a wolf named Death Haunt (Edit: Death Haunt is now dead) - both of whom are as intelligent as Dragons. Ameris (dragon).

Character's Physical Description: Elfrida is ambidextrous and well muscled. She has a large scar on her face, coming from the top of her head and going beside her right eye-ending on her neck.
Every now and then Elfrida has dragon like wings that came from her learning dark magic. They usually only appear when she's using it, and the darkness of her mind is very strong, or in control. When Darkness has complete control, Elfrida's skin becomes as hard as dragon scales, and her fingers become black claws. All skin but Elfrida's face changes to black scales, and her face has patches of small black scales.
When Elfrida allows the Other Voice control, everything about Elfrida turns white. Her eyes, and hair are pure white, and her skin become as white as is possible - almost like a corpse.

Her favorite quote is one that she made up: - "There is no life dearer to me than the one that is already lost."

Dreams for the Future: -To avenge her parents, and kill her brother. To destroy the Darkness within her.

Reason for Dreams: - Because of her long suffering of being orphaned. Because she doesn't want to become a killer of many who are good.

History: Ameris was conceived the day Elfrida's wolf friend Death Haunt's body was killed, and his spirit was trapped by Galbatorix. After the egg was laid, and Death Haunt's spirit was rescued Elfrida was dying because she no longer had a reason to live.
Just as Elfrida was about to take her last few breaths the egg was given into her charge to keep and guard. Elfrida was healed by Ebony when she was at death's door, and she took the egg to protect it. Elfrida hid the egg whenever she couldn't have it nearby because of the events that were happening, and avoided it as much as possible. Elfrida never wanted to become a dragon rider, and she became afraid that the egg would hatch if she spent time with it.
Finally the egg did hatch. Elfrida was wandering in the Hadarac desert as usual when she met someone called Fenlore. She had a vision where she would have to teach him some things, and prepare him for something in his future, and that made her hate him. Later on the same day Fenlore had completed his journey, and used magic to take himself, his horse, Elfrida, Death's spirit, and Blacknight to an oasis. The same oasis where Elfrida had last left the yellow dragon egg.
Elfrida took the egg, and opened a portal to an Urgal city. Later that day the egg hatched, and Elfrida became enslaved by her newly hatched dragon, who demanded complete obedience. viewtopic.php?f=38&t=8640&start=60
Ameris discovered that she was hatched with the ability to use Light magic, but using it caused her to never grow from the time of hatching.

Personality: She's over protective of Elfrida because when she was given to Elfrida as an unhatched dragon Elfrida was dying, because of having lost the will to live. Ameris is wise, even for a hatchling, and she was be able to speak with her mind immediately after hatching.
Ameris isn't as playful as even the least playful hatchling because she felt the desire to learn from the moment of her hatching so she could protect Elfrida better. She also thinks that Elfrida takes to many risks, and she acts like a big sister, or mother, and tells Elfrida what is alright to do, and what isn't--even though she is only a hatchling.
Ameris is very serious minded, although she is always willing to hear, tell, and solve riddles. Ameris is friendly to almost everyone who isn't an enemy of Elfrida, and she treats half of them the same way she treats her rider. When Ameris is around her parents she feels awed by their presences and does her best to learn from their knowledge. She would sacrifice herself to keep them alive and well.

Colour: - Yellow with black eyes and yellow pupils

Appearance: Ameris is yellow with black eyes, and yellow pupils. Ameris is also a shape shifter like her mother Felena. Ameris can change her color depending on what type of creature she is, although she rarely changes from her normal shape. When Ameris is shaped as a lethrblaka (I know she's a hatchling, but I'd rather her shift to an undersized lethrblaka than a raza'ac) she is gray, and the same when she is in horse, and wolf forms. All her other forms are yellow.

Dreams for future: - To protect Elfrida at all costs, and to keep her alive.

Reasons for dreams: - Because when she hatched Elfrida had nearly nothing to live for. For that reason Ameris decided to protect Elfrida no matter the cost.
