This will be my first phoenix!

lol I have great plans for her though they'll be revealed in the rps as time goes on. Muahahaha!

Name: Valria

Age: 10 years

Gender: Female

Skills: Valria is a very bright phoenix with a passion for knowledge. Even as a young chick she would ask many questions to her parents whenever they told her a legend of their kind. It was to the point where Valria would annoy those around her with her endless inquiries but it helped her with her photographic memory. She is a fast flyer, quick and agile, always able to keep up even though she were smaller and picked on for that reason. With her large wings she can fly higher than normal phoenixes of her kind and rain down on her enemies without them knowing she was ever there. The wind works with her feathers as she moves them through the air without difficulty or sound. Valria can also see strange movements through the air, almost rainbow-like ghosts and assumes they're spirits. She assumes since, she is an albino phoenix with amber eyes instead of gold or blue, can see things no other phoenix can see. She hasn't been able to figure out yet what these things are, and assumes they are spirits.

Character Personality: Valria is inquisitive by nature, and friendly. Despite her past, she has always been able to make friends quickly and easily with her laid-back attitude. She believes to never hold a grudge, for life is short as she often puts it. Also, she becomes tired easily whenever she is very angry for too long. Unsure of the road ahead, Valria is keen on exploring and finding things out for herself from the legends she had heard about as a young hatchling. She is somewhat pacifist however, from the violence her fire phoenix peers always wrought upon each other. She will not go into battle unless absolutely necessary. Valria would rather study and explore instead of dealing with disputes amongst others. She remembers her parents always encouraging her when she was young to always make friends rather than enemies. Valria has always kept this in mind and whenever a war has about to erupt, she would retreat into the forest, worried she would make an enemy if she took the wrong side. She would, however, always help a friend in need whenever they needed it. Valria knew the difference between being a coward and being a good friend, and if someone was obviously being hurt for no reason whatsoever Valria would do all that she could and help her friend(s) out. What also has made Valria curious by nature is the fact all the other fire phoenixs are reddish-gold and yet she is albino...

Character History: Valria hatched in the western part of Du Weldenvarden in the mountains, a strange place to find herself with her mother and father. There was a small cluster of fire phoenixes in the surrounding area. Valria would attempt to play with the other chicks but was always cast away for her appearance. Feeling shunned, every day Valria would fly back to her mother and weep, wondering why she was cursed with ugly white feathers while the other children always had beautiful red and gold colors. Her mother always would reply that appearances are always decieving. What may seem strange and alien on the outside is actually beautiful on the inside and comforting. When Valria calmed down enough, her mother would tell her a story of dragons beyond the horizon who do honorable things to try and save their race from Galbatorix, an evil dictator who wished to conqer it all, including the dragon race. Valria would go to sleep every night, whispers floating through her mind; an ancient presence calls to her. Every morning as the sun would rise Valria would see shapes bending, their coloration of a rainbow. She questioned her mother what they were and all Iowin could tell her was they were spirits of the phoenix's ancestors. From her tone, however, Valria knew this wasn't the case. After a final goodbye, Valria said farewell to her mother and father as she had to find out just what these strange things were and to see the dragons her family has always talked about. Now, Valria seeks answers, and she knew that her home wasn't where she would find them.

Weapons: Her beak and talons are her main weapons however they are not really used much as she avoids fighting.

Character's Physical Description: Valria is an albino phoenix. Unlike the rest of her kind, she has pure white feathers from the tip of her beak to the tip of her tail. They shimmer with a rainbow hue if the sun hits them just right. Her eyes are dark amber that are always sparkling. They have speckles of gold in them that shimmer even moreso in the sun. Her wingspan is extremely large, but this helps her fly where she cannot attack as well. These enlarged wings can help her angle at a sharper turn, thus enabling her to turn faster to avoid danger or, in some cases, fight from the air.

Dreams for the Future: To explore and to find out what these strange rainbow spirits are.

Reason for Dreams: Every night before she would lay in her nest, Valria's parents would always fill her in on the outside world, a world that was filled with dragons and warriors fighting for justice. As for the rainbow spirits, Valria knows these shapes are not spirits and wants to find out what, exactly, they are.
