 Nasuada and OrrinI haven't finished the book yet.... but as far as I can see, why would CP ever bring this up? Would be quite amusing if this actually happened.

Re: Nasuada and Orrin Just finished it. What a cliffhanger, and not for this topic... If he wanted, Paolini could start a new series just based upon what Eragon was about to do as the book was finished up... Not going to post what he was doing, or what was happening at the time, but there are lots of unresolved plots that could sustain a book of their own.

Re: Nasuada and Orrin Agreed. Although I don't think he'd go so far as to start a war. He's a LOT easier to kill than Galbatorix was. I just wish Saphira had bit him or Eragon had punched him or something... His self-pity and drunkenness irked me.
Let me rephrase that... A self-pitying drunk I can deal with. Re: Nasuada and Orrin I doubt he could get the manpower to rise up against anyone. Like you said, he's a wimp and people aren't too keen on following wimps. And the magicians aren't imprisoned and their powers aren't being inhibited, just monitored. The only one's that would object and maybe go for something like that are the one's that are doing wrong or have something to hide.
