Raign tore through the library "their must be a way to fix this." Raign thought as he searched through book after book. "My heart is growing weaker faster I have to find a way to stop this or I will die in less than a year. I am running out of time!" Raign tore countless books from the shelves until an old hunch backed woman came in "You are going to have to leave we do not appreciate freaks destroying our books!" She yelled her face as stiff as stone. "Leave me be I am in a rush." Raign replied. The woman left and came back with three guards. "Come on leave before we have to force you." said the tallest of the guards. "Fine, but i am taking these with me." said Raign as he picked up a stack of books and rushed past the guards. They gave chase Raign ran out of the Library and just as he was about to turn the corner of the street he ran into a person as he fell to the ground the figure said. "Welcome to Teirm."

Ioksok help Raign to his feet, then he bent down to help he pick up the books, "What were you doing runing so fast?" He asked looking at the man.
Ioksok heard shouts, the guards came around the corner, "Have you seen this man?" The guard asked giving Ioksok a discription of the man standing be hind him, "No, but i saw some one go that way." He said pointing down a long road. One of the guards said "lets get him." they ran down the road.
Ioksok turned to the man behind him "Looks like you got your self in trouble, Follow me." He said walking back the way he came.

Raign looked puzzled as the man walked down the street. He followed the man to a house that was falling apart. "Why did you ask me to follow you?" Raign asked.

Ioksok looked at the man "Well it looked like you needed help." he said, as he walked into the house. "Follow me," Ioksok said "Stay close." He walked over the creacking and rotting floor boards. Ioksok walked to the the end of the hall and then bent down to pick up a ring, the handle of a trap door.

Ioksok made the man walk down the stairs befor him. He closed the door and lifted his hand so a light shinned out of his palm, "Just follow the hall way." He told the man in front of him. They came to a hevy iorn bannded door, "Let me in." Ioksok said nocking on the door in a strange pattern.

Erais walked to the door. She opened it. She then returned to her book.

"Who is that?" She asked, not looking up.

She sat on the chair. She was reading the book fast. She turned a page every minute. She then closed the book. She looked up. She quickly pulled her gloves on. Hiding her palm.

OOC: Sorry if it was a bit short.

Ioksok went to a cubord, and pulled out three glasses, "Would you two like some thing to drink?" he asked, he pored two cups of tea handing one to man and the other to Erias.

"Him." Ioksok said looking at Raign "He was in trouble, SO i helped him." Ioksok went and sat down in the chair next to Erias, "So how was your day?" he asked her. Then looking at Raign "Sit down man." He told Raign.

"Nothing happened. Just stayed here, I can't leave yet. I had to stay down here all day I wanted to go see...uh." She stopped.

She looked at Raign.

"What trouble were you into?" Erais asked.

She really hoped Raign hadn't seen her palm. She tucked her hair behind her ears. Revealing them. She then went to get another book. She then started to read, she finished her drink.

"Thanks." said Raign as he put his books down and sat on a chair. "What is this place?" He asked as he took a large sip of the tea. "And why did you help me?"

"Well if you in trouble with the guards. Then you're with us. I have reasons, so does Ioksok. We will tell you if we can trust you." Erais said.

She then shut her book. She then waited for a reply. She hoped they would get a good conversation.

"So, why were you in trrouble?" Erais asked.

"It started 17 years ago when I was captured and tortured by the shades, that is why I have to where these bandages." Raign took another sip of his tea. "After escaping I found ,in my magical studies, that I had been tortured to the point that my heart was slowely dying. I had found out that I was supposed to have at least ten years left, but recently I have discovered that my heart is dying faster and that I have about a year left to live." Raign finished his tea and set the cup down. "I was trying to find out how to reverse the curse when the guards came in and tryed to kick me out, so I ran taking these books with me. That is why the guards are after me."

"Oh, well I am a dragon rider." She showed him her palm. "So is Ioksok. I was trained to take Galbatorix's side. I had an accident at the age of thirteen. I have only discovered a little of my past. He had personally trained me."

She then told him what she knew about her past.

"Some of these books might help. This one is all about curse reversing. It took me a week to read it." She handed the book over.

The book was a foot thick.

Raign grabbed the book and held it in his hand. He swept his hand over it and a light grew between his fingers. "This book has nothing to help." He said setting the book down. I copied it to my memory and the tricks and spells it says are too weak and too slow. Looks like I still have a while to go." He picked up one of the books. "Even if I do find a way I will still have only about eight years left and I have to much to do. Will any of you two help me?"

"I wouldn't mind. I would love to leave this place. I haven't left here for three months." Erais said. "Well I am not sure about Ioksok. We have quite the story, but that doesn't matter. I will help. Though I have a few tricks up my sleeve."

Erais then left the room. She was gone for hours. She still wasn't back.

Ioksok waited for Erias to leave the room then looked at Raign, "We will help you, but if any thing happens to her," Ioksok said pointing his chin to the door that Erias just used "Ill skin you alive."

Ioksok walked back over to the shelf and took down a bottle of brandy, he took a deep drink, then put it back. "I have to get ready." he told Raign and left him in the room with his books.

Erais was wandering the streets. She stayed in allies.

Erador, I can't come today. Or for a while. We met someone new today. His name is Raign. You need to find a different spot everyday now. Erais told her dragon.

Fine, be careful. Erador replied.

Erais then went to the library.

Ioksok walked up the stairs and out the door, he was armed more hevely then normal, Ioksok came out the house and went around the corrner. He shifted his sword into a more comfertble positon, and walked to the tavern called the Green Chestnut.

Raign stood up "Well I can't very well go outside seeing how the guards are probably all after me now, so now what?" Raign got up and picked up his books he left the room. Raign followed the hall until he found a room with a note on the door. It read

Raign this will be your room for now make yourself comfortable.

Ioksok

Raign opened the door to find a candle (unlit), a bed, a mirror, and a table. Raign sat down and started reading his books.
Raign read his books until the sun set and then he decided to take a break he stood up and then looked into the mirror. "Time to see how I am doing today." Raign said as he lifted of the bandages. His skin was still black ,of course, that would never change but the skin was now starting to dry and he could tell it was getting thinner. "I am falling apart." he said.

Erais got back. She went to her room, then locked herself in there.

"What am I doing here. After all, well why shouldn't I...No stop your doing it again." She said to herself. "Oh man, I am going crazy here. If I am here any longer. I might turn myself in."

She then went about the room, tearing everything apart. She had to find a better way of chaneling her crazyness, anger and frustration.

Raign heard a loud bang it suprised him so much he dropped the mirror and broke it. "Great!" he said as he kneeled down and used his magic to fix it. He then walked down the hall where he heard the noise get louder he walked up to a room and tried to open it. It was locked. "Hello who is in their?" He yelled

Erais stormed to the door. She opened it angry.

"What?" She yelled at him.

She then glared at him. He had dissrupted her. That wasn't the wisest of things to do. More so, when she is experiancing multiple emotions at once.

"Well what do you want?" She asked again.

Ioksok walked through the door into the tavern The Green Chestnut. A man was siting at the table to his left the bar tender walked over and shook his hand, "What do you need?" he wispered into Ioksok's ear.

Ioksok looked around "I need to get my self and two others out of the city, by tonight." he said looking around, the bar tender lead him to the bar. Ioksok sat down on a stool, noding to the man in the corrner, He drank the beer the bartender left infront of him.

"You and two others out by tonight," The bar tender said "Just out of the walls?" Ioksok nodded, "Well that wont be to hard, meet me here in two hours." He said.

Ioksok left heading back to his hiding place.

Back at the hiding place Raign was trying to come up with an excuse to why he had disturbed Erais. "I thought you needed help or something." He said. "Nice excuse." He thought in his head. "But it seems you are alright." Raign continued.

"No I am not." She yelled at him again.

She then slammed the door shut in his face. She then continued to tear the room apart. She then had finished destroying it when she went over to her bed. She sat down. Then fell asleep. She was in a very deep deep sleep.

"Well that was rude something must be wrong with her." Raign thought as he walked back to his room. He opened the door and then he noticed one of his books was missing. He went looking for it so he went to the room where he had a drink with Erais and Ioksok where he found a mouse chewing on bread crumbs. He searched the room and found nothing, and then he remembered he dropped it at the door. So he went to the door he opened the door and found Ioksok standing their.

Ioksok looked down at Raign "Get your stuff," He said "Now." Ioksok left Raign geting what littel he had, Then he wnet to the room Erias was in "Open up." he said nocking on the door, when he heard no answer. Ioksok lowerd his shoulder and broke the door of its hinges, "Get up Erias," he said "Get you stuff packed were leaving."

Raign walked into the room with nothing but his books his staff and his dagger. "This is all I have for now." Raign said after noticing the odd looks he was getting. So then he just stood and watched them pack their belongings. "It will be good to leave this place said Raign."

Erais woke up with a start. She fell off her bed.

"Wwwhat?" She said slowly.

She then realized what was going on. She grabbed her sword, bow and arrows. She then went to find the other two. She was still fumming. She was upset that Ioksok had woken her up. She then started going into one of her moods. She saw Raign. She then stormed out. She was then lost in the city traffic.

Ioksok swore, he had to find Erias befor it was time to leave, he gave directions to Raign, "Go I will find her." he told him then set off after Erias.

"Where are you?" he asked no one just talking to him self, he had been looking for fifthteen minuets. Raign should have made it to the tavern he thought to him self. He then caught a glimps of Erias, Ioksok ran after her as fast as he could.

Erais continued to storm throughout the city. So many things were going through her head. She had to free herself soon.

"They...him..." She continued mumbling things.

Her hair whipped passers by. She then turned corners. She then walked into the tavern.

Raign was sitting at the bar when someone came storming in Raign naturally turned around. It was Erais. "I am sorry if I bothered or offended you in any way." Raign said. He did not get an answer Raign ordered himself a brandy and drank deep. "If only I could taste this." Raign muttered. He then decided to try and make ammends with Erais so he asked if she would like a drink.

Ioksok saw Erias turn into the Green Chestnut, Thank god he thought to him self as he walked in behind her. Raign was siting in a stool at the bar. "We are all here." He told the bartender as he walked up next to the man.

"Well isn't that good, there is a tunnel," He wispered to Ioksok "Go into the wine celler then down the stairs, follow the tunnel until you are out of the city."

Ioksok wisperd back "sound easy enough." Then turned on his heal and said "Erias, Raign follow me." he lead them to the tunnel, taking a bottle of wine as he went by the racks.

Erais took it out of his hands. She then put it back on the shelf.

"We don't have time for you to get drunk. Come one." She said.

She pushed him forward. She was to excited to leave.

"You both souldn't get drunk. Sorry Raign. I have just been cooped up here to long." She told him.

Raign followed Ioksok to the wine cellar. "Erais I cannot get drunk just so you know next time." said Raign as he walked down the stairs. They reached a giant cask of whine and Ioksok just pulled it open like a door. I guess this is where we will go?" said Raign as he brushed aside a few cobwebs.

OOC: Let's wait for Ioksok.

"Go, get moving." Ioksok said, when both were through the door he grabbed a bottle of wine then followed. Theh were in a small room with a table then stairs leading down. "Go to the stairs," Ioksok said "Im glade to get out of this city."

down the stairs there was a long stone tunnel, Ioksok took out the wine and put some on the end of a cloth and rapped it around a stick and lit the stick on fire.

Raign and Erais followed Ioksok down the tunnel for what seemed like miles until they finally reached the end of the tunnel. They left through a large crack in the wall but as soon as they stepped out three guards yelled. "Hey stop get back here!"

Erais imedeatly turned aruond to face them.

"Go you two. Now, leave them for me. Go." She yelled at them.

She then drew her sword, they advaced towards her. She started to attack.

"Go now or I will kill myself." She shouted at Raign and Ioksok.

The guards secretly hoped they would stay, to see Erais kill herself.

Raign shrugged his shoulders and started walking off. "No need for me to worry about a dragon rider." Raign said as he walked. Suddenly other soliders jumped out from a corner and started to charge him. "Sorry Erais but I am gonna have to take care of these guys first." He said as he made one of the five soliders burst into flames. He then took his staff and nocked one of them in the head. One guard made a swing for his head but he ducked and stabbed him in the stomach with his dagger. Another guard lunged at Raigns stomach but he side stepped it and knocked him in the head. The other two both jumped in at the same time one attacking high the other one low. So Raign took his staff and knocked the high strikers sword away and then he jumped over the others sword. While in the air he kicked both of them strait in the face and they both fell to the ground.
Raign walked to the one he had stabbed and healed his wound. "No need to kill a man who was doing his job." Raign thought.

Ioksok had his crossbow out and was shooting any of the soldiers that he saw. "What are you doing?'' He yelled at Raign seeing him walking up to one of the wounded soldiers and healing him.

The guards Erias were fighting were dead, "Sorry I didn't leave." he said "But it lookes like you lost some of your energy."

"What am I doing? I am helping an unfortunate man I will only kill a killer." Raign said. Another group of solders came out of the hole in the wall. "They followed us!" Raign yelled as he charged the men. He rushed up making the men think he was going to attack but then he stopped and crushed the ground under them so that they all fell to the ground. He ran in and knocked as many out as possible and then he backpedaled and made a wall of firein the grass. "Come on we have to run!" Raign yelled as he grabbed Erais and Ioksok and pushed them forward.

Erais ran. She ran like the devil was chasing her. She then dove to one side. Though it looked like she had swirved. Ioksok and Raign had ran ahead a good disstance. Erais then jumped out from her hiding place. She drew her sword. She then started to attack the oncoming solders. Most of then were dead now. One that was still alive had a huge gash in his right wrist.

"Tell Galbatorix that he will never ever have me again. Or anyone for that matter. Go." She said.

The frightened gaurd ran.

Raign ran ahead trying to keep his books in balance, But then a shadow came over him. "What is that?" Raign said as a creature landed in front of him. A creature with a beak and bug eyes got off it's mount. It pulled out a flask and suddenly a wild smell came over Raign. "A Razac with Siethr oil!" Raign realized. Then it swung it's arm spraying siethr oil all over. Raign dropped the books but could not fully evade the oil. It landed on his bandages and seeped through. He burned all over. Raign tryed to take off the bandages but soon he passed out from the intense burn. "I have to get the bandages off." was all Raign could mutter before he fell out of conciosness.

OOC: Let's wait for Ioksok.

Ioksok looked around seeing that Erias was taking her time walking back and Raing was nocked out, he ran up to the Raz'ac and yelled "Get away," and fired his crossbow. biding his time until Erias got back.

Raign faded in and out of concousness. He was oblivious to where he was or what was happening. He watched as Ioksok fought back against the Razac, and he tried to raise his hand,but all that he could do was twitch his fingers. He watched as solders started to sneak up behind Ioksok and that was all he could do.

Erais backed down. Beads of sweat running down her face. Her hair slightly tangled, her face showing frustration.

"Ioksok, look out." She shouted, trying to warn him. "I can't keep this up."

Exuasted she fell to her knees, looking around for something, anything to help her. She finally pulled herself to her feet. She then charged towards the gaurds, advancing on Ioksok. She drove her sword into one of their backs. She didn't have enough strength to pull it out again. Thinking fast she pulled her dagger out, throwing it at the guard nearest to Ioksok, striking him between the shoulder blades. Another weapon gone.

"Leave now," she said out of breath. Why is all my strength draining? She questioned herself.

She then grabbed her bow. Reaching for three arrows, she lost all strength and fell to the ground. She raised her head, seeing some gaurds advancing towards her. She surprised herself at finding strength left in her. She drew deep inside her, and thought on one thing and one thing only. You will not get me, dead or alive. She reached for her bow again. Then reliesed the three arrows. Killing three guards.

OOC: Ioksoks turn

Once Ioksok relized he was the only one still fighting, he looked for his companions who were sprawled on the ground uncounsses. "Get away." he told he Razac in a clam voice lowering his bow "They won't belive that you two just dissipeared will they?" The monsters looked at him and shook there head the mounted there awful steeds and vanished.

Raign woke up. He felt odd and then he realized his bandages where all gone. He rose up out of the bed but fell right back to the ground after the pain of a fresh burn shot through him. He looked over and saw Ioksok cooking something by a fire. "What happened?" Raign rasped.
