Not all non-fiction books are as boring as the ones you are required to read in school and to be quite honest, the books you read in school are of the worst ones and are there just so you can learn literature and maybe a couple life lessons.

anyhow non-fiction books, like hitnrunjr said, are almost always boring when read in school, because they are more often chosen for their factual content rather than their literary style, if you understand.

Rarely I read non-fiction but when I do the book is very good and funny. Last non-fiction book I read was Eats, Shoots, Leaves. The book is all about grammar mistakes that people make today.

The only non-fiction books I've read have been biographies. some of them have been very interesting, but yeah, I like fiction better.
