How do you send pictures over a pm?

The same way you would send pictures in a regular post. Either upload them to an image host and write the IMG codes, or use the attachment form at the bottom.

When you're replying to a pm, it's right beneath where you write the message. There's a box that says filename, and then browse. It's the same one you see underneath when you reply to posts.

The picture you uploaded, you get/make a bigger version of that and use the IMG tags as before.
(as long as it is less than 700 pixels wide, otherwise it will not work on SF)

how do you do it for pictures saved on a flashdrive or a disk? That i can't get. the URL one was fine.

Well, if you're attaching these pictures via the attachment form below, I would suggest copying these pictures to your computer, then uploading them like earlier discussed in the topic.

If you're uploading these pictures to an image hosting site, then it doesn't matter. All you have to do is to find the jumpdrive or disk, and click on the pictures inside. You would find the jumpdrive/disk under 'My Computer' if you are using Windows.

I would still recommend copying the pictures in question to your computer, it makes it a lot simpler.

personally I'd upload them to Tinypic or Photobucket just because it takes a long time for SF to load pictures off of your computer (And the size limit on Attached pictures is much smaller than that of images you put in [IMG] tags)
