yes but no one except for elves are vegetarians and the razac would not like it if they do not get to like eat all the meat.

Not to mention they would probably die. From what we know of the Ra'zac they are carnivores we have no evidence of them ever eating vegetables. Humans are omnivores so we can survive we just veg however since it is likely the Ra'zac are carnivores they wouldn't be able to survive on just vegetables.

1st of all do Ra'zac eat humans? of course they do. Second human are made of meat so anything eating us in a carnivore. Anything eating animals is a carnivore so the Ra'zac are carnivores.

I have know idea why the ra'zac would come to Alagaesia. Either way Eragon would never approve. They killed his uncle and his father remember.

He also despised Urgals and now fights alongside them in every battle. We don't know if they are the last of their race. There could be more where they originally came from and they might go to Alagaesia to find food. Plus, the Lethrblaka can fly that might be how they go over.

There is quite a difference between Eragon's absolute hatred of the Ra'zac and his intense irrational dis-like of the Urgals. He fought against one species but the other species brutally murdered his father and starved Katrina. Eragon is also aware that the Urgals are merely over-fond of war where as Arya has told him that the Ra'zac are evil at heart. Also Ra'zac eat Human flesh and have to in order to survive, the Urgals don't.

He dislikes them both for the same reasons. Both races has killed people he has known and liked. Just because Ra'zac eat human flesh does not make them evil. They do not think themselves as evil. They do what they can to survive. People view them as evil because they kill humans and eat them.

Then humans must be evil also because we kill animals and eat them, we destroy the land, and have done the same things the Ra'zac have done.

He dosen't dislike for the same reasons.
1. Humans have killed people Eragon is very close to. (Murtagh and Hrothgar) but eragon does not hate humans. Same with Urgals. However the Ra'zac TORTURED Katrina and Garrow who are part of Eragon's family. The Urgals weren't even responsible for the death of Nasauda'a father and from reading their histories Eragon know they are over-fond of war but aren't evil themselves Arya points out just how an important distinction this is.

2. Could a snake and a rat ever be friends? No because snakes eat rats. Eragon's family would be food to the Ra'zac which isn't going to make Eragon like them.

3. One of Eragon's main motives for going to Helegrind is to avenge his father on his hated enemies which is slightly different them him running half-way across Alagaesia with an Urgal.

Eragon HATES the Ra'zac but he feels more or less neutral towards the Urgals.

1. I never said that that Eragon did like them.
2. I never said Eragon hated humans. They say the Ra'zac are evil because they eat humans to survuve. We eat lesser beings to survuve so you insinuate that humans must be evil too. Everything the Ra'zac have done, humans have done too. Eragon's own MOTHER TORTURED people.

There could be more if Eragon goes to the land where they originated.

1. I was comparing the Urgals and humans showing how they had done the same sort of things and so showing that eragon dosen't hate the Urgals.

2. Selena may have tortured people however she didn't torture Eragon's family and she realized what she was doing was wrong. The Ra'zac tortured Eragon family which is far more personal to him than what his mother did in her dark past.

3. The reason I am focusing on Eragon's feeling is because if he hates the Ra'zac they will never be the Varden's allies.

4. You still haven't answered how you can be allies with your predator. The humans would never trust the Ra'zac as the Ra'zac could just eat them.

5. Can I point out that Eragon fights beside Urgals now however for the entire time Eragon has known about the Ra'zac he has wanted to wipe out their entire species.

So I still think that the Ra'zac will never be the Varden's allies and I think comparing them to Urgals is stupid as they are entirely different.

Oh my god. I never said they would be allies. Just because ERAGON doesn't like someone doesn't mean they wont be allies. The Ra'zac may force them to be allies because the Ra'zac wouldn't stand a chance against two enemies. ALso if you forgwt Eragon did HATE the urgals when Nasuada joined forces with them.

It's the level of hatred between the two. If Eragon sees a Ra'zac he will attempt to kill it however when he hated the Urgals when he saw one he just prepared to fight. Also your 2nd sentence dosen't make sense do you mean forced to become?

I mean that if more Ra'zac did come they could force the Varden to accept them as allies or turn against them if they don't and the Varden wouldn't be able to afford so many powerful enemies.

Well i don't think that the ra'zac could coexist with humans in the same army for reasons AC has already adressed. but i think thatbif there were more ra'zac that they might wage thier own war against the empire. Kind of like a spec ops branch except self-governing, if you get my meaning.

I think they would wage war against the Varden. Galby never hurt them or posed harm to them and Eragon and Saphira flat out killed them and their parents.

How come every argument I have with you ends up with us agreeing? I've been disagreeing with the topic title all along. It's probably that I haven't fully understand you viewpoint from your first post nor you mine and then an entire argument kicks-off.

I don't believe the Ra'zac would ever be allies to the Varden, they eat people. The Urgals are war-like but not without any sort of honor or decency.

The last wish of the Ra'zac Eragon killed was to keep the memory of how they terrorized humanity alive in future generations... They are basically said to be entirely evil creatures.

I think there is a chance that there are more Ra'zac.
