Fire of the Forgotten:
This is a natural power, so it doesn’t consume energy. He learned this ability when he was deep beneath the cold mountains of he North. He has the ability to create a green flame, that if powerful enough can disintegrate armor. It is magical, in that there are very few wards that can stop this attack. He has the ability to use it for extended periods of time. When used excessively, this attack can turn on the user. It harnesses spirits to make the attack powerful. That is why he rarely uses it.

Claw From the Deep:
This is not a natural power, in that it takes up a lot of his energy. It harnesses the power if the Earth around Nidhog. When used Nidhog raises his left fore-claw, and where-ever he wishes, huge claws of Rock and such come up out of the earth. It can be used to crush a weak enemy, or hold an enemy down, but this skill causes Nidhog to become extremely tired when used. It is very dangerous for him to use this ability.

Sonic Slash:
This is a move that Nidhog mastered when he was very young, even before he was locked away under the Northern Mountains. He can only use this attack when flying. This skill is natural also, but it takes a lot of his stamina away when used. He can fly high, and when he decides to dive down, he created an extremely high-pitched whistle with his tail spike. Then when he is close to his opponent, he opens his wings and stiffens his tail, and the air that he carried with him, hits the opponent, many times knocking them right out of the air.

Breath of Corruption:
Nidhog learned this skill when an unlucky shade entered his domain. It attempted to use this upon him; but underestimated his will and the strength of his mind. Instead of forcing him to obey the shade's whim, Nidhog gained the ability to use it. He has since mastered it, he eventually turned the breath of Corruption on the shade himself, and with it he tortured the shade, until accidentally the shade was pierced in the heart. It is powerful, but it does not woke or really effect someone or something with even a decently strong mind. Rather if used to often, it can turn itself upon the user and they begin to serve whatever spirit is being used in the breath.

The Tainted Spirit: Nidhog's spirit is so evil; he can use it to steal the souls and spirits from his enemies. He can only do this to those who cannot use magic or protect their minds. He uses this ability to boost his Fire of the Forgotten ability. He can go without eating as long as he can steal a spirit. He can capture and hold as many of these as he needs, unless they unite against him, then he has to release them, and all of them. This leaves him weak, so he normally only takes what he needs and uses them before they unite together against him.

Character Personality:
Nidhog is a very jealous, and mean dragon. He is also very cruel. He doesn’t care for anyone truly, and whose he acts like he does, he is only using for his own gain. He enjoys to see others suffer, and to see them in pain. He is very conniving and sly. He is one of the best liars you can find. He can charm the birds out of the trees, but once he has the bird it is in for a slow painful death. He takes an odd enjoyment in war, and death. His mind has been twisted more-so that Galbatorix's. Galbatorix may be evil, but he is as innocent as a child compared to Nidhog. Nidhog has committed atrocities against even his family. He shows absolutely on mercy and has no pity whatsoever. He likes power, cruelty, and strength. He may be completely evil, but he respects someone brave enough to stand up against him. He may respect them, but he will still kill them when he gets the chance. He has a terrible fear of begin buried alive, other than that he is almost completely fearless. He has a huge appetite, and eats almost continuously. He loves to eat dragon flesh, followed closely by human and elven flesh. He will eat almost anything, but likes to eat the flesh of his brave opponents because he feels it makes his reputation more and more great, and he likes his meat tenderized.

Character History:
Nidhog was born in a small black dragon colony in the far north. He lived a normal life, until one day, his colony was attacked by a group of dwarves over territory. Nidhog killed for the first time in that battle. He was barely a year old, but an older dwarf attacked him as he tried to flee, and he killed the dwarf with his tail spike. He saw after the battle, that the other black dragons ate the bodies of their enemies, so he ate the dwarf. He liked the taste and never forgot it.

About ten years later Nidhog was old enough to become a full-fledged warrior of the colony. He had a great reputation as a warrior by this time, and was well known in the other colonies. One day another group of dwarves attacked the dragons, but there was something different about these dwarves. This time, they had learned magic, the black dragons fought bravely, but in the end they lost. After the battle only Nidhog and his friend Makon escaped. The entire dragon colony except them had been wiped out. They both fled to the monstrous forests to hide from the dwarves.

After they got to the forest, they had their first encounter with elves. The elves were peaceful enough, at Nidhog liked them well, but it was not to last. One day when Nidhog and Makon were out hunting they saw a golden dragon talking to a large group of elves, and it seemed that there was something to do with a black dragon. He flew back to the elven city and saw the elves attempting to tie Makon down. With a huge roar Nidhog went and freed Makon and said, "Why do you do this wrong Elves?" They answered, "Because this dragon has been bought by the dwarves, they want him dead." Then they again started to tie Makon down. Nidhog went and began to fight to free Makon, but in the brawl, Nidhog killed a young elf, and some elves killed Makon. When he saw that Makon had died, Nidhog said, "Forever, we are enemies."

After he had said that, he fled to the very edge of the mountains where he noticed some creatures that looked like elves, only with rounded ears lived. He greeted them, but was answered by began attacked. He got angry and destroyed an entire human village. What he didn't know what that the humans, elves, and the dwarves had been planning a very evil end for Nidhog.

After he fled the humans, elves, and the dwarf’s domain, Nidhog fled to the one place he felt safe, the peaks of the north mountains. To the dragons, He went expecting to have some help against the many enemies he had, but when he got there, he saw that the dragons there to greet him were powerful looking warriors. "Hi, my name is Nidhog, I come here in peace." He said when he landed, but the lead dragon said,” And you will leave in peace too. We will not keep you safe from your enemies, we will not house you. We have suffered enough on your account." All of a sudden Nidhog's white spikes, horns, and teeth turned blood red. He attacked the dragons and killed them all, every single one. He had his first taste of dragon flesh that day.

He continued to harass the dwarves, humans, elves, and any dragon he came across. He was like smoke; they were unable to capture him. Until one day, he had just finished killing a powerful young dragon and had been eating its flesh, when he felt a sharp sting in his back, he turned and saw a huge arrow in his back. He took to the air after the elf that had shot him and saw him flee into a cave. He went in after him, and was so intent on killing the elf, that he didn't even hear the dwarves and dragons collapsing the cave in behind him.

Two days later Nidhog was so far underground, that he could only see about three feet in front of him at any given moment. He finally caught up with the unfortunate elf three days later. He killed the elf slowly and began to feast upon his flesh, not knowing he had been trapped in a huge maze of tunnels that didn't lead to the outside world.

Sometime in the 7000 years he had spent in the caves something snapped in him. He became totally ruthless, as well as more intelligent that he had ever been before. His hatred of all other beings grew also. He began to rampage in the tunnels he had been in, and over time wore them into huge halls. He went completely mad in the tunnels, living off of anything he caught, mice were always present, and water there was in abundance, he also learned how to control spirits, and many other dark arts that had best be left alone.

Over the years, the dwarves forgot about Nidhog, they continued to mine, and one day they came across a huge tunnel, that seemed to hold some huge beast, but the dwarves were foolhardy, hey thought that they could handle whatever monster was down there, thy didn't see Nidhog hit them. He tore through their flesh as easy as wet paper, he also feasted on their flesh. He was free! He has hence been terrorizing the lands looking for something, anything to kill.

Almost immediately after he escaped his sub-terrain prison, Nidhog met his first almost friend. His name was Arkel. He was a huge dragon, bigger than Nidhog himself, but maybe not quite as powerful. They teamed up and were going to help each other kill all the dwarves in the area, that is until a phoenix, named Kaailena, a dragon, named Ramoth who was almost as old as Nidhog, another dragon, Shyara, and the silver dragon Phalynx attacked them. It was a long hard-fought battle, but in the end both Nidhog and Arkel were forced to leave, but Nidhog knew that he would be back.

Character's Physical Description: He is a huge jet black dragon. He is well over ninety feet from head to tail. He has a wingspan of over two hundred feet. He has eyes with red pupils and long red horns. His horns are about six feet in length. He has a long tail with a huge red barb on the end, used for attacking. He has huge red teeth and large red claws. His claws, spikes, and teeth all are the color of blood and look like he just got finished killing something. He has a blood red colored flame that he can shape into any form that pleases him.

Dreams for the Future: -
To destroy those who captured him and locked him away for so long.
