welcome to sf. i cant wait to see the movie myself. enjoy yourself, and if you have a chance, drop by the fanfiction and character bios areas. for fanfiction, check out all the books written by people, or write your own, and for the other one, you can create your own character. it seems really in depth here.

a couple of good books in fanfiction that i know of are: one, which is my own, is currently called Wil's story. and another which is called The Carnival Land: Book I: The Butterfly Ring. those are just suggestions, but they're good.

Hi, don't forget that these forums were started about the books long before we even knew they were making a movie, so don't be surprised to find lots of people saying how much they hated the movie. Personally, I thought it was quite good, even if they left a lot of stuff out! If you're planning on reading the books, watch out for spoilers, because Eldest is definitely not a book to be ruined before you finish it
