urrgh, i wrote this poem for school(i didnt have to, but i did) so i guess ill post i(sorry if its long)

Forged in fire,
Made of earth,
All the elements,
Were in its birth.

Cooled by water,
Balanced by air,
The blade itself,
Could conquer any lair.

Suffused by light,
Surrounded by dark,
On any creature,
The blade will leave its mark.

Blessed by time,
By that lord’s mighty words,
It weaves together,
A tale of souls and swords.

Wielded by the greatest champion,
The blade will leave the forge,
To combat the rising horror,
The evil, malevolent, undead scourge.

The champion fought,
Scores were slayed,
But from the corpses,
More foes were raised.

He sundered flesh,
He destroyed stone,
He shredded cloth,
He shattered bone.

But still they came,
His allies had died,
Each corpse to add more,
To the scourge’s evil tide.

He called upon,
The sword’s great power,
To help turn the battle,
Against the scourge’s great power.

The earth responded,
Crushing much,
Fire hissed out,
Incinerating all with it’s fearsome touch.

Water and air,
Combined their might,
And lended a hurricane,
To the fight.

Victory was near,
The champion stood waiting,
For his bloodlust, much grown,

Water of eternal youth

There was time,
when I thought
that I hear sweet sound,
of whisper in my ear,
time that meant
rest'n'peace,
but that was long ago,
before mankind came...

They slave, they kill,
they build, they elvove,
but not me.

crying for the ones,
who were lost in time.

Now I'm all alone,
no one can hear me speak,
no one can see me leave,
I don't leave a trace,

thanks, it was another poetic inspiration. when i get one, it hits me hard. i usualy have to work on a poem, you know? but those two just sorta, flowed out, then all i had to do was go back and refine the words a little so that the rhythm and motion was a better flow.

Broken Picture


Rose petals, soft as silk on a bed white as snow. You with me, the perfect picture.Fall days turn to winter nights and you hold me close. Together again, I'm happier than I've ever been. Leaves fall from the trees as we walk together hand in hand, heart to heart. I love you and i always will. You love me, you say for eternity. I would be lost without you, you give me purpose and a life worth living. You have my heart and the key to it. "You'll probably never know how much you mean to me" you tell me as you hold me close again. A love, strong as the mountains we sit and watch. A love as long lasting as the stars we see, lying on the beach, listening to the waves crash on the sand. Lilies bending in the wind on a warm summer day, running through the fields i feel you close to me. A kiss we share in that beautiful moment. But our love came to an end. Like a river flowing swiftly, you left me. "It's not you, it's me" you told me before you left. Like rain falling from the sky, my tears fell to the ground. My heart was torn apart like a jigsaw puzzle but there was no one to put the pieces back together. Lying awake at night, my thoughts consisted of you and the love we once had. As darkness shrouds light, your memories haunt me. I see your face, hear your voice and feel your touch but now only in my dreams. As the seasons change so doe's my heart. "I will always love you, my dearest but i need to move on" i tell myself whenever i start thinking of him. A new scar my heart has but carries it with pride, knowing it was made by giving itself completely to the one it loved. Love can be like a two edged sword but can also heal the wounds it has caused. It is a troublesome thing at times but worth every second you spend in it, love has taught me this time and time again. It is a lesson learned hard but worth the knowing and is priceless when it is all you have to hold on to.

Story keeper

Story keeper in my mind,
telling all the stories
that she knows
but not her own...

She is sitting on cold stone throne,
holding her head up,
not to fall in sleep,
that she wishes to have,
but desire to know her life
is beathing all the dreams
that are echoing in her mind.

And so she become a ghost, a spirit,
that writes all stories
of the creatures that go by,
but the only one
that she doesn't know,
is the story of her own...

And as would we Humans say
she is the Story keeper,
waiting on her dreams,
but not knowing that she is already
in one.....

Standing in the rain i have peace of mind once again. I watch as the rain falls around me, pleasently surrounding me. The soft touch of each trop,silently falling ontop of my skin. Dancing in the rain, you and I, you make me feel as if i could fly. Standing in this splendor with you, it's like my heart has been renewed. Reaching out, feeling the rain on my hands, i look back at you but you start to disspear. I stand here frozen in fear. I don't want to lose you, you have made me relize that my life is worth living and all the happiness in giving. What would happen if I lost you? I dont want to know! Losing you would be like losing another piece of my heart, with the rest falling apart. I know your time is coming and it will come what would feel like, too soon. So every day i'll cherish the moments that i spend with you. The wind rustles through the trees as cherry blossoms land in my hair, night is coming swiftly and it's fragrance fills the air. The rain has stopped now and we walk together, side by side, the sounds of our footsteps echoing through the night.

This one is kinda wierd, i don't even know where i got the inspiration to write it but oh well, here it is . . .

With every hour passing I sit and look at you. You look at me with your hollow eyes and emotionless face. I’m craving for your affection and yet I cant have it You belong to someone else . . . . but then why do you sit here with me? Do you like to see me in pain? Because that’s what I feel whenever we're together, pain and emptiness. Your presence is poison to my heart, your touch kills me. I know you don’t love me and it makes the pain worse; sometimes I wonder if this pain will eventually kill me. Each time your hand caresses my skin and your lips touch mine, I’m lost in a world all my own and for the moment I enjoy it to its fullest because I know once that moment is gone you'll go back to her and leave me here crying. Often my friends ask why I put myself through so much heartache and sorrow and the only thing I can do is say “I love him, even if he doesn't love me back.”

realy ? i was kinda depressed when i wrote it, which is quite obvius .... thanx...

ive got a sorta new poem going. its just a few paragraphs long. but i think ive finaly got the outline of it out, so now i can get to work on refineing it.

your poem is realy good. thought its rough around the edges. im impressed. and thats not ackomplished(sp) easily. have you tried refineing it a bit. check the flow and the ryhthm of it so that it all fits together. You dont have to take my advice, ive only had a few of my poems and artwork published, but thats what they told me to check. so i pass their advice on to you so you can do with it as you please.

i'm not so deep into poem writing...though i like poems...i didn't want it to rime much... and i am not so good at english so even if i wanted it to rime i couldn't write it...

heres one i wrote. Its to my 4 best friends. it turnd out more like a story though.


Theres a road on a land and this road and this land were claimed by 5 girls and these 5 girls took this ordinary land and made it extrordinary they made it into a land of fantasy and adventure they battled demons off there land and fought away burglers together niether girl could survive without the others and together they took control of there land then one day when the girls finaly had to partand go there own separet ways they named the road and the land. It was a cold winter day and the girls were saying there goodbyes all the girls had cried and then started to laugh when the girls settled downthe eldest piped up "i think my tears have frozen" Suddenly every girl stopped The perfect name for their unnamed land and road . FROZEN TEARS. Perfect in every way memeries of their land frozen in time memories of all the tears and all the years spent together frozen in there minds and never to be forgotten. They had found, claimed, fought for,,conquered and lived on their land. the land they had come to call home. and now it was time to depart. and so for the last time they hugged and went there seperate ways. BUT NONE WOULD FORGET THE OTHERS OR THIER MEMERY LANE OF FROZEN TEARS.

for my poem, i know the ending sux, i wrote it towards the end of class and the bell rang just as i was about to finish the ending so i wrote what i had in the rough draft. its not good, but the rest of it is.

I don't write poems...usually...I can't write poems for dirt lol. Anyway I love reading poems especially Hykuu (Japanese poems where it goes 5 sylables, 7 sylables and then 5 sylables again = 3 lines) They're really good.

i thought it fitted better you see the poem has had a total rewrite and now i'm sort of confused about what to do with it

it started off:

Do nat lay there idle, do not sleep
Life is outside not in the deep
you must sow or you can never reap
Don't just lie there, go earn your keep
The child is working as she does each day
To keep your wrath and death away
She fetches the food and cleans your home
While in the corners of fantasy you roam
She should be exploring fantasy
Not scrubbing the floors with a bleeding knee
She should be outside, wild and free
Instead of coming to heaven with me

Anyway i am trying to think of a poem that is to do with autumn. So far I have these not very good three lines.

The Autumn
The Fall
The Birds no longer call.

im standing on a cliff
looking out at the sea
watching the night fall
with all its beauty

i see the waves
as they splash against the wall
i see the purple and the pink
in the clouds above

and i see the dolphins swiming
enjoying the last rays of the sun
and i feel a slight breeze
upon my face

and close my eyes to let in the feeling
of secureness, serenity, and hope
of freedom and happyness, and joy
and then the night falls

now there is black and that feeling is gone
and i have nowhere to go
for i have no home
and now this is the end

Battle Song

Quiet and ready,
The time was near,
They raised the Flame,
And he saw their fear…

To his men,

The general gave his speech,

Dawn is fast approaching,
Of that you can be sure.

And when the suns warm presence is felt,
High above the field,

The battle’s still not won…

And when he finished,
His men stared in awe,

Its pretty cool, reminds me of my long lost brother whos fighting in Indonesia right now. I really want him to come home.

Hi everybody. I love writing poetry, though I don't think i'm very good. Here's one any way:

Down the empty street I walk.
In waking sleep I try to lock
The gate behind me,
My best friend's yard is all I see.
The grass is crisp beneath my feet.
On her friends she did cheat.
My friend did wrong
So now I sing a song.
A song of what she did.
And how her soul I did bid.
With the devil I made this deal,
On this night a knife she'll feel.
In her house I creep
Walking quietly I make not a peep.
Her life should end he siad,
Her mom will find her dead.
Now i'm in her room
In the corner I see a loom.
To that place I sneak,
And the floorboards do not creak.
I take the wood so sharp indeed,
And walk to to the bed sweating not a bead.
I'll feel no guilt for this crime i'm to do.
And you'll tell not a soul will you,
Of course you won't
I'll make sure you don't.
If you do
The same fate awaits you.
As I look down on her face
I put my wooden knife in it's place.

My pain,
At times i feel so empty,
like i dont have a soul.
At times i feel with half a heart,
while wishing it were whole...

I hide away,
Drawn deep, confined,
Safe from all,
within my mind...

Yet hard as i may try,
painful thoughts keep pace,
i hear them in a rhythm,
running fast as if in race...

The whole poem was gay this was the only good part to it

green fadeing into night...

see the tree there,
