Anyone hear of them?
Murder by Death is an American four-piece rock band from Bloomington, Indiana.
I absolutely love their music, they have a pretty unique sound.
They play a wide range of music including instrumentals, punk rock and alt-country.

Well their name is derived from the 1976 Robert Moore film of the same name.
I kinda like their name though, lol

Oh, well that makes it better.

Just when they give the impression they're trying to be badass by using words like "death" and things is just a little old. But if it's off a film, then it's better.
