I don't think either one of them die. Eragon is supposed to live on and go to other elven lands.

1# Shapira wont die as 1 thing. Galby needs her as she is the 'Last Female Dragon Alive' (that we know of) and 2# it was told by murtag that the last egg was her mate, so Unless galby wants to save his skin and kill her, he is going to ruin his whole plan...... Learn to read! It is in the BOOK!

NO! in the book it say's nothing about that if a rider dies his Dragon always dies, that is some BS from the movies. All it says in the book is that normally when one dies so does the other because they are so close. So if Eragon did die there may be a chance that Saphira will live slim but still a chance. Correct me if you can find a quote please.

Still in the Book I can find no place where it says If a rider dies their dragon dies and If a dragon dies the rider lives. So there is a chance that Saphira lives if Eragon Dies, Brom was a rare case like Galby, they lived when their dragons died.

Didn't you listen to what Saphira said about if the rider dies so does his dragon? Besides how would Brom still be living if he's a dragonrider? Because the dragon dies if the rider dies, but if the dragon dies the rider lives.

But in Eldist Oromis said that if one dies the other normaly dies with them. And how do we know that there has not been a dragon that has lived through their riders death.

well u know...heaven may be considered going from alagaesia and never coming back so yeah if they both die,they would still be fulfilling the prediction
