Aeraldi was scared. He'd never experienced anything like it before, only with his other side. But this was a fear different from the others, this time he had no control over what happened to him. He'd never admit it to his other side though as he would try to take control and try to break free. How'd I end up in mess? He asked himself repeatedly, only to have the answer play back in his memory over and over again until he had to shut out everything.
So much for a simple test of magic ability huh? Aeraldi said unkindly, but still empathetic.
I don't know how those Humans, Elves, Dwarves and all those races survive with only two legs and no wings! Aeraldi pulled at the chains covering his human-like arms and legs. Just looking at them sent a wave of memories through his mind again.

Aeraldi was sitting in a burnt out hut, pondering over memories of his new-found friends.
I don't see how you could consider them 'friends'. They're repulsive enough as it is.
Typical of you. Angry at everything around you, considering everything a threat.
Bah, I am not getting into this again. I know they consider me a threat every time I have to be, how did Keralin say it? Let loose. They would kill me if you weren't in here with me, or if they thought you weren't in here with me.

Aye. I heard that the 'princess' Star Gazer changed her form once. I was thinking we do the same. Seeing me in the weaker form will make them attack us, thinking that they could rid the world of me.
Aeraldi was shocked to say the least, yet was willing to attempt it.
Alright, I'll go along with this. It would give us something else to do in these boring times.
Both sides of Aeraldi spent their time crafting the spell, but it was difficult as they had to create an entire vision of themselves as humans, not to mention the fact that they needed to change. One for the white version, one for the black. Soon though they had made the spell and cast it. Aeraldi was a handsome Elf, with unusually white skin and white hair falling from his head. He was dressed in white robes with the Taijitu insignia, more commonly known as the symbol for Yin and Yang. Aeraldi's skin was black as night, with no hair at all. He had muscles that were as large as little children. He wore clothes as dark as his skin and a cape that seemed to radiate it's own darkness.
Aeraldi's first though when entering this form was, How do they balance without a tail! right before falling backwards. After an hour of figuring out the form Aeraldi was walked out of the hut, unfortunately for him it was just as a beam of smouldering wood crashed down from the roof and knocked him unconscious.

Now Aeraldi was chained in an unknown prison, trapped in this body, unable to change back to the form that could save him. A small amount of light came through a crack in the wall, barely enough to see in the wasting darkness, but enough to see when the other prisoner was taken in. Aeraldi didn't know who it was and decided to keep quiet.

Seeing the other prisoner fight for everything made Aeraldi's blood burn. That other prisoner wanted revenge, wanted to be free, whist Aeraldi just sat there. He was about to move to break the chains when a number of guards burst through the door and held the man down. When finally a soldier had had enough and kicked the poor man in the head, rendering him unconscious.
I've had enough of this, we'd receive more respect more respect from a pig farmer.
Is it a plan you have? Cause you know what mine is.
Aye, we need the other man. We break these chains using your strength, then I heal that man so he can fight. We change back before he sees me and we escape using the brute force of you and him.
Sounds good. But I suggest we wait and talk to him first, he may not accept our help. And while I don't like giving... Or accepting help, I like his spirit. Untamed, and ferocious.
Aeraldi couldn't make head or tails of both, his other side and the man in the corner. He decided to wait and let his other side control his body right now. Occurring in a very similar manner, Aeraldi's skin changed, his muscles grew and his clothes changed.
A few hours passed, making the light coming from the wall diminish. Finally the stranger stirred. Aeraldi knew this chance was perfect, nightfall and escape. Aeraldi fiddled with his mouth and vocal cords, trying to sound human at least.
"Evening stranger," Aeraldi said in a deep voice, "about time you woke up."

"I sensed magic. What did you do?"

OOC: -Pass

Well then I suppose there's no purpose standing, or sitting, around here for any longer. With that Aeraldi leaned forward in his chains, pulling them to their maximum length. He pulled back and with a small grunt he used every muscle in his body to break the chains that bound him. while the rings around his wrists and ankles were still attached, the chains broke apart easily to the dragon. Aeraldi thought about changing back into his previous form, then thought against it. He didn't know what would happen to the chains if he changed back.
"Coming with me or do you need help like every weak human?

OOC: I know he's an elf, but Aeraldi hasn't gotten a good look at him yet.

OOC: Pass turn

Faefnir rushed randomly around the fortress trying to find the valuable prisoners. Niliki! Aeraldi! Where are you?! TALK TO ME!

A voice broke through the battle. At first Aeraldi thought it was just a soldier yelling taunts. But Aeraldi recognised the voice and the fact that he didn't actually hear it, but it was sent to his mind.
Faefnir. Aeraldi said gratefully.
Maybe my experiment will still work, but how did he know I was here I wonder... He disregarded those thoughts and decided that the sword in his hand would serve at a club at least. Aeraldi moved to the other soldiers, dodging their blows by shifting his body in ways an actual human would never be able to. He brought his sword up and managed to stab one guard before realising, How am I to get the sword out of him? It didn't matter, he was dangerous enough with his fists. He brought his clenched fist down upon a poor soldier who didn't have time to put on his helmet. After that man was down, there was a momentary lull in the battle when the guards were afraid to come any closer.
Contact Faefnir, tell him we're over this way.
Aeraldi sighed then sent the message Faefnir, I'm not sure where we are, and I can't believe I'm talking to you, but we're this-a-way.

The mere offer of help from Faefnir bruised Aeraldi's pride more severely than the blade that just pierced his shoulder. Aeraldi tore the sword from his shoulder and broke the man's neck. He tried for magic again, to return to his original form, yet the same barrier kept pushing Aeraldi back. He was determined to kill whoever stopped him from using magic.
No! I will find my own way off this island even if I have to rise the land to do it.
Aeraldi was hurt that Aeraldi wasn't accepting help, yet he was in no position to argue or help. He wouldn't fight, nor was he willing to attempt to take control of the body in this situation.
Aeraldi finally fought his way out of the prison block and out into another prison block. Yet it was much lower security, to Aeraldi's liking. And he could actually see light from the sun.

OOC: Pass.

Faefnir followed Aeraldi at a quickened pace. Aeraldi, stop! You don't know what you're doing!

OOC: Pass turn.

Listen to what I am saying, you deaf son of a-
Please don't make him angry with you! I have enough trouble trying to keep them from destroying us.
They have made up their mind about us. They have no concept of balance, only that good should thrive while evil is vanquished. Balance is needed, and they cannot comprehend it.
I don't believe that. At least allow me to use the body now, you've had it for far too long.
Aeraldi continued forwards towards the shore, the prisoners attacking anything that resembled a guard. Sighing to himself he said back to his other side, Fine.
Seeing Aeraldi change while he was a dragon was curious enough, but seeing him change whilst in a human form was downright bizzare. He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth, the pain to come would be extraordinary. Then it came, pain of everything in his body changing to imitate the magic his original body was under. Aeraldi's hair grew long and white, flowing robes seemed to remove themselves from his skin, his arms lost their muscle but kept their fitness and finally his skin changed to white. Aeraldi took a deep breath, his palms and forehead dripping with sweat. He stood up and took stretched his limbs, feeling the oddness about them and longing for his original body. Aeraldi reached for magic, feeling the ocean of power deep within him, yet was blocked by the same barrier that stopped his other side.
I cannot leave yet Faefnir, my magic is being denied to me. If I leave now I will not be able to return to my original form.

OOC: Where are you I-L-S?

Aeraldi wanted to tell Faefnir that his other side wouldn't allow that to happen but events move too quickly for idle chat. Now that he was out into the open, he wanted to open his wings and fly away. But his form stopped him and it filled him with anguish. Aeraldi shook his head and watched as more and more prisoners piled out of the jail block, swarming over the land. Aeraldi tried a different tactic to his other side, he reached inside his mind and felt for the wall that separated his power from him. Sure enough, it was still there. He felt around the wall, searching for a weakness or a source. What he found though was exactly what he was looking for, a path that would most obviously lead to a trap if followed. So there was only one option, spring the trap.

Aeraldi opened his eyes and drew a mental image of where the magic was coming from. Seeing a path, he followed it.

OOC: Pass turn.

As Faefnir engaged Shruikan and the Lethrblaka, he noticed Niliki pinned to the ground. Aeraldi! Help him!

OOC: It is a male, right?

Aeraldi heard the cry of pain from Niliki and he turned to see what happened. Faefnir shouted at him and many more prisoners charged past him, blinding his view. At least his eyes were still working as they used to and he could use his infinite vision, seeing the land. He could see himself and where Niliki was, yet he was torn between getting his power back or helping him now. He wouldn't be much help without his power, but he couldn't leave Niliki there to suffer. Letting go of his vision he charged through the crowds of prisoners and made his way towards Niliki. By the time he got there he didn't need to fight the horseman as the prisoners were tearing apart his body in bloodlust.
"Here let me help you." Aeraldi said grabbing Niliki's hand and lifting him to his feet.

OOC: I-L-S, once again its your turn.

OOC: Uhhh, pass. I can't think of anything to keep the battle going.

The vision was long, yet short. It felt like it went on for hours, yet only a moment. It took him along the trail of magic, weaving and winding its couse over the land till it reached a small cave. The trail of magic was gone however, having gone into another prison block which Aeraldi guessed was the trap Faefnir mentioned. Into the cave he saw a place which made no sense to him, rocks floating randomly in the air hitting one another, a rat crawling up the wall and onto the roof as if all it did was walk along the ground, and a large red stone sitting on the ground.

The vision ended but Aeraldi could remember it as clearly as he saw Niliki standing before him.
"What did you do?" he asked.

"Yes, I did see what I wanted." Aeraldi said to Niliki, while thinking about what he saw. Faefnir interupted his thoughts.
After I am free again. Aeraldi wasn't exactly sure what he meant by that but he felt it was the right thing to say. He ran as fast as he could to where he remebered the cave, it was hard with the prisoners crowding around him praising him.
"Let us be off of this Island, we need boats to be made or stolen." Aeraldi knew that would keep them away from his for the time being and give them a way off the Island later on when he left using his own wings. Luckily the cave was easy to find, little did he know though that this was only the beginning. Immediately, as he stepped in the cave, he feel a tremenous amount of power surging throughout the area. Glimpses of power taken, power given and power used rushed through his mind. He even caught a glimpse of himself using magic.
What is this place?
Looks as if it is recording everyone who is using magic.
But there were rocks in the vision.
Go further down.
Aeraldi went further into the cave, seeing a glow in the back. He became exited that he would once again have his magic reachable and started running.

OOC: Pass. I'm dried up for additions at the present time.

Aeraldi continued walking down the cave, the various images showing him aspects about magic that he had never thought possible. He caught a glimpse of his own creation and how much energy it took but before he could glean any useful information from it, it escaped his grasp.
I must know what happened! He thought angrily. He walked further down the cave, the glow at the end becoming brighter until he could see the room of stones. I am so close to the truth. He thought.

[Niliki ran into the cave, his eyes preventing him from seeing the dark, dankness of the cave, but the power assaulted him. He could see all those who used power, and the sights caused him to falter in his steps for a moment, hearing the sound of magic fighting. " GOD help us get out of here alive." Niliki whispered then continued to run for his semi-friend.

After awhile Niliki began to feel the drain, but he kept going. He couldn't imagine what Aerialdi must be feeling at that same exact moment since he was much farther down into the tunnel.
