Leath had to keep running, but his body kept paining him as if telling him he should stop.
He was being chased by the soldiers who had just recently destroyed his fathers kingdom of Hemlock. They had used the element of surprise to nearly crush the city. But the main damage was caused by their leader, a traitor to Hemlock, the shade Mandrid. Mandrid was once the kings personal guard and general of all the vast armies of Hemlock. He had been seduced by a local bandit leader's wealth into helping in the destruction of Hemlock.
Leath could hear the nearing voices and footsteps of the soldiers. He was ordered by his father to leave without looking back, but it was getting harder, and harder to obey. He noticed his mother's eyes and saw that tears dimmed their usual color. Then suddenly she stopped. Leath urged her to keep moving but it was like she could not here him. Before Leath knew what was happening she drew her bow and an arrow from her quiver. She then spoke the words that Leath would never forget. "Go Leath, I shall keep them off for as long as possible! But never forget off what has happened today, and know, where ever you are, I am near."
Leath tried to stop the tears from streaming out of his weary eyes but couldn't. He tried to tell her he wouldn't leave her but she told him he must. Then with a final glance he took off.
He used all his strength now, leaping over logs and rocks. He hurried into a nearby cave in seek of refuge, for he was very tired.
Leath stopped in sudden fright. He was face to face with Mandrid.
Then from knowwhere right when Mandrid reached to grasp Leath, a dagger flew threw the air and landed right in the betrayers heart. Mandrid gasped for breath, then fell over, dead. The next thing Leath remeber a sharp item of some sort struck him in the head, and all went black.

Leath awoke as the morning sunlight streamed into the cottage. He had yet again dreamed of the terrible night. He got up and turned around. This would be his new home for quite a while he thought. The cottage was just outside of the castle gates near a little pond. He was a new recruit in the army and was very excited to start training. A sudden flow of new hope set his heart on fire. Little did he know he was begining his recruitment for King Galbatorix...

OOC: Technically this has not happened yet but Andep is dieing soon =D




Danagon ran. Tears filled his eyes. He held Andeps Eldurani in his backpack, and continued running. He stopped by a creek and put water on his face and ran again. He saw soldiers coming. He still ran. A elf leaning over a woman. He still ran. He couldn't make out who the elf or woman was. He stopped behind a tree. A man, maybe three to five years older than Danagon, next to a Shade. Danagon found a dagger on the ground. He instanly had his normal reaction around a Shade, and threw the dagger. Luckily it went right through the Shades heart. As for the man facing him Danagon put Wilae's point at the back of his neck and muttered a spell to put him to sleep. More soldiers coming, and Danagon made out Wil. He hopped the elf/human over his back and yelled at Wil, "I know a place to hide! Distract them! Start those tress on fire!" Danagon pointed at the trees making an arch over where the soldiers were headed. "I hope this guy is from the Varden!" He mutterd, thinking of the man over his back.

OOC: I think im supposed to pass since im nocked out

OOC: sorry, WAY out of turn but i've got an idea...

IC: Wil turned and looked at Danagon. "Quick, pierce his heart before his grin fades. Then he gets to die with the shadow of his last laugh on his face." He then turned to Wulfe, and mimicked in a high, irritating voice, "Pretty words for one about to die," and grinned viciously. He could feel evil in the area, and figured Wulfe was cheating again. Wil didn't attack, but only waited with the magic that would destroy anything coming at them propped on his lips and ready to burst from his mouth.

OOC: please don't kill Wulfe still need him!

OOC: oh no, he dodges it somehow. lol. its the reinforcements Wil's really focused on, even though he doesn't know their number or abilities. He's got Danagon and Alec to keep Wulfe occupied. lol. I never planned on killing Wulfe anyway.

[color=#000000]Danagon felt the dark magic. Shades. He thought as a curse. Danagon looked at Wil. "You can handle them if you like. Wulfe is mine." Danagon muttered. He hated everything about Wulfe, ever since.... Danagon tried not to think about it. An idea popped in his hand, and green magic wrapped around his fingers. he raised it up, and it evaporated in the air. But it was like night now, the sun pointing a different direction. "They can't see us," Danagon muttered. He had a cube picked out of a area and put another spell on it. "Skolirio." He breathed. "And now they can't feel our conciousnesses." Danagon felt the loss in energy. He was vulnerable. Stupid, Andep would've warned me.

OOC: The official order, which starting NOW we will go by, is Leath, Wil, Aorian, Morwen, Rider of Death. Were doing it by the order we joined =D


Leath, its your turn. Then Morwen can quickly go, and Wil, Aorian, and Rider of Death will go. THEN we start the order =D

OOC: I couldn't let Andep die I decided, he and Eliza have 2 children to raise!

"Haven't you tortured me enough!" Danagon yelled. "You won't stop till you kill us, will you? You already got Andep. ALl you need now is Skol, Wil, Elfrida, Saheit, and I!" Danagon was going to continue when his shields failed. The Shades could see them. But Danagon's mind was no longer alone. ANDEP!!!! Oh my, Oh my DANAGON! Danagon started having a spasim through his body. Help me kill Wulfe and then I expect some answers! Danagon saw Andep fly above and land next to him. Andep chuckled. Wil, you better take care of my child. I need to take you all somewhere, but Wil, again, I'd be careful. You can only sit and watch your egg when we get there. Danagon realized what Andep meant. Eliza must be in great pain, not having her egg warm. Suddenly Danagon realized how much trouble Wil was in for not keeping the egg warm. Danagon looked at Wulfe. "Andep, Wil, he is mine. Get the Shades. Andep was more than happy to kill a few Shades. He flew up and spotted 3 in a group closest to them. Andep flew down there and started attacking them, Wil and him could easily kill these shades. Andep opened his mind to Wil and Danagon, Wil should hear this.Danagon? We need to kill these guys, get to ELiza, and tell our story. She is in great pain. Andep turned away from Danagon for a second. Drenor died. She killed the men who almost killed me, and put Drenor and I on her back and made it this far before her pregnancy gave in. I can't believe her strength, and courage. And than he answered what was probably Danagon's biggest question Yes, Wil's egg has a twin.

Danagon breathed, he was so excited Andep was alive. But twins?! This made him jump for joy before he and Wulfe began fighting. He then spoke to Wil and Andep. Well this is unfair, my dragon has TWINS before I have a child. And I am 18 years older than you! Danagon chuckled.I need a wife.

OOC: Alec is just killing more shades so I'll pass.

Morwen, your turn. I remember you are gone so lets be patient guys

OOC: Ok, who's turn is it?

OOC: Wil's turn, he hasn't been on lately.

OOC: sorry for the delay guys!

IC: Wil looked to his friends, unsure of what to do about the newcomer. He parried the attack of one of the shades and, in a brilliant flourish, swept around the shade and stabbed him in the back, piercing his heart. The shade screamed, it's voice the shattered, ear piercing shriek of numerous angry spirits as they were expelled from its body. The body itself imploded, leaving behind a faint film of black dust to be carried away on the wind. Wil was already dispatching the next shade by this time, so he didn't notice when a light green streak crossed the sky. It was only as she roared that Wil noticed Jynk hovering above the battle.

Jynk roared savagely, feeling the lust for blood and battle take over her every fiber of being. She dove toward the other dragon. She extended her neck, flaring her fangs and attempting to bite Andep on the ridge just behind his head, so she could break his neck and end his miserable life before he realized what happened. Being quicker, she did manage to get her jaws around the bigger dragon's neck, but she felt his muscles bulge beneath her powerful maw and realized that his neck was too thick for her to bite through. She pulled away and instead swiped her razor-sharp claws across his flank.

Daniel leapt off Jynk as she approached Andep. He drew Elyktra, the blade glimmering thirstily as it slid from its sheath. He dropped upon Danagon and thrust the blade downward, trying to strike Danagon's shoulder. He ended up clipping the other man's arm, slicing a good hunk of meat from his shoulder, but no more. Elyktra was buried in the ground nearly to the hilt by the force of the attack. Daniel stood and drew it as he would draw it from a pool of water. He flourished the blade, and then pointed it at Danagon. "You're mine." he said simply.

OOC: Aorian, so sorry for god modding Andep there while in battle with Jynk, but I knew you didn't want him to die and I didn't want you to berate me for leaving it at her chomping down on his neck, so I altered it just a wee bit so as to keep him alive. again, if it's too much, i'm sorry.

Danagon eyed Daniel and drew Wilae. "You almost killed Wil!" He yelled before hitting Daniel in the arm with the point of Wilae. Drops of blood dripped from his arm. "In the clearing. And for that, I show no mercy." The two began blowing and parrying, lightning spraying every which way. Danagon's scar went black. They were in danger. Wulfe and Wil were fighting, Jynk and Andep, and.....Aeron. Where was Aeron? Danagon suddenly heard the Saheit remark. He let memories of Wil, Elfrida, Saheit, Skolirio, and himself flood his mind. He and Daniel continued fighting. We need Elfrida. If she can fight Wulfe, then Wil can get Aeron! Danaon knew they also needed Elfrida because of her prophecies. They had helped tremendously, Saheit and Wil were powerful. It had helped those two. Skolirio and Danagon... well she saw nothing for them. Suddenly Danagon felt his arm get a large scar. He had been daydreaming. He looked around, went to the farthest corners in his mind and yelled, ELFRIDA! He then said, Alec, occupy Aeron!

Andep growled at the small-green-dragon-Jynk. The two began intertwining each other, attacking. Andep bit the small dragons tail and whirled around, but it was able to be get released. You chose the wrong battle. And with taht he tried to put his fang in the dragon's neck.

Aeron laughed and began to get ready to battle this "Alec". "Come and get me if you can." Aeron suddenly burst into silver flames and a black eagle erupted from them, flying over Danagon and Daniel.

OOC.:: I figured Alec could use his awesome bow skills

OOC: That is Skygge who has awesome bow skills. But no matter, Alec as throwing knives.

Alec jumped into the air and landed forty feet away from the battling shades in order to get a clear shot at his target. The halfling selected his best throwing knife, and trained his eyes on the black eagle that was Aeron. With an often practiced leap he jumped into the air, keeping his eye on his enemy, and then let the knife fly. He had another knife ready when he landed. "That ought to bring him to the ground where I can really fight him."

OOC: Who's turn is it? mine?

OOC: What love they have for each other! lol. And I thought my sister was bad!

Alec turned to look at the dragon flying towards him and sighed. How was he supposed to fight three enemies at once. This was going to get ugly. The young man replaced the knife and drew his twin daggers instead. "Will you hurry up and get over here!" he yelled, "I don't have all day you know!"
