Re: Which dragon will saphira mate w/? With all honesty, I believe that Glaedr is Saphira's father so I think them mating is out of the question. Murtagh can't escapre from galbatorix because Galbatorix knows His and thorns true name. We all know Shruikan is completely out of the picture. So the only conclusion that is left will be that Saphira will mate with the Emerald dragon.

There's the whole theme going on with the old generation handing over the baton to the new generation, of which Arya is still a part.
