Do we have any Anne Rice fans out there?
I have read all of Anne Rice's books and I loved all of them except "Violin". I couldn't even
finish it.
The Vampire Chronocles are wonderful. The Mayfair Witches are pretty good as well (3 of them).
Then she combined the Mayfair witches and the vampire books with "Merrick", excellent.
"Ramses the Damned" or "The Mummy" , both names are in the title is fantastic.
I highly recommend her works. I think she is brilliant.
Let me hear from you, whether you like her or not. Just if you read her books or if you have
any questions about these books.

I love her work. Lestat is amazing, as are Louis and all the others. I can not get enough, I own all the Vampire Chronicles.

Did anyone miss me? Sorry, I was on a couple-week hiatus. Computer crash. I had to go to the library just to do homework . . .

Most definetly. I think you might like a book, "The Glass Oracle", unfortunate that I can't remember
the author.
"The Witching Hour", "Lasher", and "Taltos" are the 3 books by Anne Rice.
If you like historical novels try John Jakes. The Kent Family Chronicles, 8 books in all. He also
wrote "North and South", "Love and War", and " Heaven and Hell". Plus a few more.
Now if you like European history, try anything by Phillipa Carr or Victoria Holt.
Right now that's a pretty long list to start with.
Oh yeah, you can request books from your local library. They will try to borrow them from other
libraries. It's worth a try.
But do try to read the Vampire Chronicles starting with, "Interview with the Vampire", "The Vam-
pire Lestat", "Queen of the Damned", "Tale of the Body Thief", "Memnoch the Devil", and "The
Blood Cantacle".
I hope you give some of these a try and let me know what you think>
Happy Reading!
