Skills:

Conscriptor- He can create powerful, mental bonds between two living objects. This bond allows them to complement each other greatly, and allows them to function in a bond similar to that of one between dragon and Rider, although it is significantly less powerful. Also, he must have permission between the two living beings to proceed with this process. The bond takes a fair amount of energy to make, and he doesn't like other people knowing about this ability of his because if he fell into the wrong hands, someone evil and powerful enough could force him to place multiple bonds between evil people, which could leave disastrous results. He is able to have a maximum of five different Conscripts of his own at a time. Any more than that would strain him mentally to the point of unconsciousness.

Swordsmanship and Martial Arts- He is highly skilled in either of these two skills because of his eccentric ability to notice many things about someone from first glance, which helps him in finding flaws in someone's swordwork. Because of this, he is more skilled in this than most Elves, except for those who are practically masters of swordsmanship. His brother and father have even trained him to be ambidextrous.

Summoning Swords- He has five different weapons he can summon, but he has only "unlocked" two of those weapons. When he unlocks the first four weapons, only then is the final, most powerful sword in his family able to be summoned. When summoning either one of these two weapons, he holds his hand(s) as if he were grasping the hilt of the blade he wishes to summon, and shouts "Summon, -insert blade name here-!" His pouch glows, and with a bright flash of light, the weapon is transferred to his hands, glowing brightly as it first leaves the pouch before the light dulls down, and his weapon is summoned. Those weapons are as follows:

Verella: His most commonly summoned sword. It is a Leaf-Bladed Sword, and it was the first weapon he ever sparred with, and he is a master with this weapon.

Ying and Yang: Dual swords. Corresponding to their name, one blade is black, and one is white. Arcenis strongly believes in balance, and likes this weapons as such. He is very skilled with dual swords, but is more skilled with his Leaf-Bladed Sword.

Quick Speed- A skill that took many bloody training sessions against his brother and father to complete. When he truly feels the need to go serious in a fight, he will use this skill. It allows him to move at an almost imperceptible speed to even Elves. When moving at this speed, he feels a physical strain, however, and it uses a bit of energy.

Magic: He is skilled with complex magic, but not spells that require a lot of energy. He is very skilled in healing, able to heal some of the worst wounds. It's obvious that he cannot do anything to bring someone back to life however, which is why he tries to save lives before such a thing could happen.

Sensing: Because he is adept at creating mental bonds, he can also tell if someone's mind is connected to another being. Depending on the strength and composition of the connection, he can deduce what animal/being that person is connected to. He can also sense a person's mind even if they are hiding it, but he cannot attack their mind or tamper with it in any way while they have it hidden.

Race: He was born into an Immortal race known as Shadowhunters. Shadowhunters are supposed to be some of the best assassins ever known, but Arcenis proclaims that he saves lives instead of what his father masters in.

Hair: Gray, spiky hair.

Eyes: Gray as well.

Home Village: Kuasta

Parents: His father's name is Vulcum, and his mother's name is Riannah. He hasn't seen his mother since he was five.

Siblings: A brother who's name is Dureth.

Character Personality: After murdering his own friend, Arcenis had pledged to never end one's life except through the ends of self-defense, and even then, he will have to be fighting for his life to even consider killing someone. He tries to see the good in everyone to help him accomplish this goal. He is very perceptive, and his family, since they are Assassins, are taught to observe every little detail and habit about someone, as they may have to end up killing them later. Arcenis follows this habit, but not because he might have to kill someone but because it allows him to perfect his swordsmanship and it helps him in his healing of a wound. He is quick to trust people, which can end positively or negatively. He cares for those around him, and enjoys making bonds with animals. He deeply trusts and likes Lyseria, a conscripted dragon of his. He treasures this bond as a Rider would the bond between himself and his dragon, which is one of the reasons why he won't make this bond between someone other than himself without good reason. He wants to save as many lives as he can, and unless he cannot defeat an enemy without killing him or her, he will even leave the enemy alive. His attitude is somewhat carefree and laid back despite his past. Although it is rare for someone to be able to make the connection between himself and his father without exclusive knowledge, he still tries to keep his identity as the Leader of the Shadowhunter's son hidden. He dislikes any mention of his father, and he wishes to bring actual honor to his race, and not the prejudice against him because of what the majority of his race has done to people.

History: When Arcenis was born, he saw little of his father. His father was always training his brother, leaving Arcenis stuck inside with his mother. He also occasionally went to the neighbor's house, in which he quickly befriended a little girl around his age. However, when he turned five, his father and brother took Arcenis from the house and fled, leaving his mother at the house, alone. They arrived in Petrovya the next week. They had chosen that specific city because of how secluded it was, surrounded by a deep lake and big mountain range. That was when Arcenis's training began. He was trained in swordsmanship and martial arts mainly, and his father and brother usually pitted Arcenis against another boy who was wrenched from his home, named Rue. Rue had usually defeated Arcenis, which greatly displeased Arcenis's father and brother. However, when Arcenis turned eleven, that began to change. He started a winning streak against Rue, and almost never loss. His father began seeing the potential skill and power inside of Arcenis, and sadly, how useless Rue had become over the years.

One night, Rue had woken up at around 2 a.m., and went to the bathroom. On his journey there, he chanced upon a secret meeting between Arcenis's father, brother, and friends. They had been discussing how useless Rue was, and what they should do with him. The verdict was decided; they would kill him, albeit indirectly. When Rue heard of this plan, he gasped loudly, informing them that he was hiding near the door. He tried to run, but, faster than he could blink, Arcenis's brother had appeared in front of him, an insane grin on his face. "Well, you arrived right on time, Rue," he said, and everything went black. The next day, Arcenis woke up, and questioned the disappearance of Rue. His father and brother explained to him that Rue had died in an unfortunate accident, but Arcenis hadn't believed it and shouted at his father and brother. Arcenis was immediately knocked out. He awoke later in a small cell with nothing but a small window just outside of his reach for light. It was still bright morning outside. Arcenis sat in the lonely cell for several hours before his father came for him, shoving a sword into Arcenis's grasp. "Come," his father had motioned. "You have one last sparring match," was all he said.

As soon as Arcenis got outside, he was forced to defend himself from a flurry of blows from Rue. It hadn't taken long for Arcenis to figure out that Rue was trying to kill him. "Rue, what are you doing?" Arcenis asked, bewildered. Rue didn't reply, keeping an impassive, emotionless face. Soon, Arcenis just barely managed to parry a blow and strike. However, he forgot to remind himself that these were real swords, not the wooden ones he and Rue had usually sparred with. His blade passed through Rue's chest cleanly, and Arcenis let go of the blade in shock. Rue fell to the ground. A smile was now on his face. "Thank you, Arcenis. They had me..c-controlled. You always w-were better than m-me," were Rue's final words as his eyes closed, a smile still on his face.

Arcenis heard the faint sound of clapping, and looked up in horror, still unable to follow what was happening. His father and brother were clapping at his success. "See, I told you he would win," his father said proudly.

"What have you done to Rue!" Arcenis exploded.

"And I told you he would be like this," his brother replied to his father. "Nevertheless, we finally have a sacrifice," he said, and he placed one hand on the ground. A glyph appeared on the ground, and at the center of it was Rue. Arcenis couldn't follow what had happened next. Rue's limbs grew, his skin turned black, and he let out an ear-piercing scream. Arcenis was left in horror as his family left, leaving him and Rue, who was now a monster, alone. Arcenis ran. He ran as far as he ever had, escaping that cruel city and arriving back in Kuasta to his mother. However, he was too late. Her form lay on the ground, covered with blood. He screamed so loudly, and fell to the ground, crying. After several minutes, he stumbled to his friend, Viriya's house, but neither she or her father were there, but there was no sign of a struggle, which Viriya's powerful father would have inevitably put up.

To this day, Arcenis searches for his friend's house, information on what his father and brother had turned Rue into, and last of all, his father and brother. Those two were the only people he was going to kill without a second thought, and kill them he would for what they did to Rue and his mother.

Weapons: A pouch his mother gave him before he left Kuasta to go to Petrovya. This pouch is enchanted, and accesses a hidden vault and allows Arcenis to retrieve one of his two blades (as mentioned in 'Skills.') When he is powerful enough, the last blade will be of access to him.

Likes: Saving lives, his Conscripted beings.

Dislikes: Ending lives, his past, any relation to his father and brother.

Fears/Weaknesses: He fears that Viriya is actually dead, and that his father and brother will find Arcenis and kill him, which they are definitely capable of doing.

Animal Companions: If you count a dragon as an animal, Lyseria is his conscripted dragon. Lyseria is very loyal and caring to Arcenis and vice-versa. Lyseria is almost fully-grown, and glows a dazzling silver. She also has big, green eyes.

Character's Physical Description: He is a little short, standing at 5'6", and has a very muscular, lean build. His body is very toned from hard work with his swordsmanship over nearly his entire life. He has gray, spiky hair and gray eyes as well. He often wears a black, collared coat (which isn't zipped up) with white fur along the edge of the collar of the coat. Under his coat, he wears a plain white shirt, and wears loose pants. He also has a silver chain near the right pocket of his pants. Around his neck is a strap necklace with three vertical, slim crystals on it. His face is round and pointed at the chin. He has little to no hair on his face as well.

Dreams for the Future: He wishes to find his friend and make sure that she is ok, kill his father and brother, and find information regarding what they did to his friend, Rue.

Reasons for Dreams: He is worried for Viriya's well-being. For his second dream, he thinks, no, knows that leaving his father and brother alive will only give them more chances to end more lives, which they will inevitably do. For his final dream, he wants to know what they did to his friend so that he can stop any future use of the dark magic used to transform his friend into a beast.
