Fayth slid down a dune, a boulder caught her eye. She approuched and didn't notice the foul smell of kull. The rock was smooth from hundreds of years of roaring wind. As she went into a kneeling position to break a sample off of the boulder, she heard the steps of seven heavily armored kull.

Relizing they were too close for her to run, she unsheathed her dagger from her belt. The monsters were glarring at her over the sand dune as they approuched the top. Once again Fayth made a mistake, there were 9 of them. They all had bows ready with an arrow notched each.

"They probably didn't notice the ears..." said Fayth to her self. The black arrows were released and she dug inside herself and found her power. "Brisingr" she yelled and they were nothing more than smouldering ashes on the ground.

The Kull drew their weapons and began a charge. "I cant take them all on at once" she muttered. "Thrysta!" the front Kull screamed as its knees were broken inward and collapsed to the ground and tripped three other of the blood hungry monsters.

Fayth then began her charge, she stabbed the first Kull in the neck with lightning speed. Ripping it out spraying the other Kull with there own kinds blood for once. She was now circled by three Kull, she threw the dagger at one. It only bouced off it's armor, when it looked up she was already there. Tackling it and snapping the neck was easy for a race with much power.

She quickly drew an arrow and started shooting. It may have been too many Kull or to less arrows, but Fayth was now weaponless and surrounded. One spear made the first attack, slicing her hamstring like a heated sword to butter. The next was a blow to the chest with a heavy hammer, she flew to the ground and screamed in pain "ethgri!". She got to her knees and spat up the blood in her mouth. Ready for the death blow from the leader Kull with a battle axe. The Kull wound up when....

Erais wipped her sword out and in a flash the Kull laid dead on the ground. Erais then stood up. Her sword was covered in blood. She took off her hood and said,

"My name is Erais. I have been hunted by them, but I can't tell you why yet."

She then lowered her sword. She said in the ancient language,

"I am a friend. I have no wish to harm you in less your with Galbatorix. But I doubt that since they were attacking you." She said pointing to the dead Kull.

"Vinr Älfakyn" "thank you very much elf friend, my name is Fayth." she said with a little bow. "But I must be off I have much to do in Surda."

Fayth stumbled to her feet and walked a few yards. Then she was greeted by the sand, all went dark.

Erais then caught up to her.

"Do you mind if we keep each other company." Erais asked. "And if so I have someone for you to meet."

There was a roar, and Erador made a soft thump on the ground.

"This is Erador my dragon." Erais said smiling.

"Argetlam!" she yelled. "I am honored that you ask me travel with you." "It is an offer I can not refuse, I would defnitly be honored to travel with you!"

Fayth stood up "heill", her skin melted together. She trotted to a stray boulder and retrieved a graceiful horse. She grabbed some of her arrows that were not broken from the pin coushins. Her dagger wasn't far. Ready she jumped onto her saddle and rode towards Erais. "I am ready Argetlam."

With a smile Fayth glanced at Erais' great friend " may I ask the name of your dragon?"

"Yes its Erador." Erais smiled.

They continued for a while. Erais then asked,

"So may I ask why your out here."

OOC: Nicho, your quotation marks are kind of out of whack. Make sure you end each phrase/section with 2. (You've got 4 up there.)

Fayth sighed, "some things are meant to know now. Some things are never meant to be heard. Others must be heard."

"I believe you must know though, or else this may seem strange that I am out here."
She then said in the Anchient Launguage "I mean to find a meaning of my life, I have felt a hole in my heart since the day I was born. I seek to bring justice to the Varden and to defeat the Empire. I am also seeking to be reunited with my sister. A name I must restrain from saying.... I must make it to Surda though, I have spotted a small force of Kull and Empire soldiers. Big enough to be a problem, but small enough to take care of. They are heading in the direction of Surda..."

Fayth reached for her wine skin and began drinking from it. The cool liquid felt good on a dry throat. "I am no warrior or rider, but I am quite perficiant in magic. The kull caught me off gaurd... I must ask though" she then replaced her wine skin to her horse " why is a rider in the middle of no where?"

Erais lowered her head. She then said,

"I have been looking for pieces of my past. My memory was accidently erased when I was thirteen. I can only remember things from the age of fourteen." Erais sighed. She then continued to tell her what she new about her past and what had happened. She then summoned some water for Erador. They then continued in silence.

Fayth watched Erador carefully. Such a beutiful species she thought. It was a cold night and the fire didn't help much. "We have to get to Surda, they are gaining on us." Fayth looked at the ground almost afraid to ask " I was woundering... Maybe you and Erador can fly ahead to Surda and get about fifty soldiers to the front gates. If we continue at horse rate they will catch us by tommorow." Fayth laid down and said " for now we should sleep. Think it over and tell me what you think, and don't worry about me."

That night Erais tossed in her sleep again. She woke up. She sat against the sleeping Erador. She then thought about what Fayth had said.
In the morning she gae her answear,

"We can carry you there."
The sun wasn't even up.

Fayth grabbed her valuables from the saddle bags and drank the last of her wine. She then slung her bow on her back and walked to the horse. Fayth stared it in the eyes and spoke to it within the horses mind. I mean not to leave you behind, and I value what you have done for me. Now I must leave, ride east until you reach a stream. Then ride towards the moon and you will be able to reach Surda and avoid the Kull "Sé mor'ranr ono finna"

"I am ready Erais."

"Wait, you son't have to leave your horse." Erais said knowing that this had been hard.
She then pulled out this strange contraption. She then started to buckle it and do little motions. Then Erador had this small box at the front of her feet.
"See you don't have to leave your most honerable companion." Erais said and smiled.

"Thank you very much elf friend and Erador." Fayth glanced at his dragon and asked "will you be able to hold us all?"

Yes I will. Its not the first time. Erador replied. They led her horse in to the box. They climbed on and took off. They flew for a while with out speaking. Then Erais asked.
"So were di dyou get your horse?"

"He is from an elven town, his name is Izail and he has accompanied me for years." Fayth increased her grip on Erais as they hit some turbulance."I have never road such a wounderful mount before. It must be great flying all the time like this." Fayth stared ahead as Surda began to appear. A stones throw away.

They soon landed. At first they were frightened. They thought that they had come from the Empire.
"Don't shoot." Erais yelled. They landed. Erais then brought the horse out. She then started to put the weird contraption away.

Fayth galloped away towards the Varden head quaters. It didn't take much convincing and in a matter of fifteen minutes fifty gaurds were ready at the gate.
