IC: The sea sped away below them, land approuched fast. They landed at last, overjoyed to feel hard earth again. Eriel surveyed her surroundings, Nothing but trees, hills, grass, sea and a beach....Perfect. She took out a large sheet of cloth, four short but sharp sticks, and a long pole, about 30' long. Are we setting camp here Eriel?
Of course we are. Night came as soon as they finished. The tent was huge. Infront of it was a campfire with three logs as benches. Eriel took a scroll from her saddle bag and started reading.

Emrhyst snorted as she sensed the presense of another. Eriel sensed her dragon's discomfort and said, "It's ok, that's probably Reb." She looked at the stranger to confirm her thoughts then told herself,"Yep, definately reb." She continued reading. Emrhyst eyes never left the stranger.

Eriel touched Reb's mind and said, "You can't hide from me Reb, I know you're there." If Emrhyst could've laughed, she would've when she saw Reb's look of surprise. Then Emrhyst spoke to Star Gazer, "It's good to see you again Star." Eriel quickly put the scroll away and sat atop her dragon, perfectly veiwable{sp} in the dim fire.

OOC: Err... Emrhyst isn't THAT small you know =p So... we're gonna fight eh? XD I'm gonna lose if we do, your a shade/elf, and my charry's weakness, is shades. LOL

IC:Eriel expected that and did a mid-air flip and landed on the ground on her feet. "You clearly underestimate me." Emrhyst growled at the shade/elf, Well then, do that again and i'll make sure you don't leave unscathed. Emrhyst knew Reb could turn into Zantya, a shade, which would make things difficult for her and her rider. Eriel then spoke to Reb, "What's wrong? I've never seen you like this before."

OOC: Hm?? Zantya touched mine in the Surda Rp =P lmao

OOC: Hm... you have a point, so take your turn pls XD I know... im impatient. =P

"Hm.... another shade... another painful battle..." Eriel thought of her scar, 'Why won't it ever leave me.' Emrhyst turn spoke to Reb, her voice shaky, Why's Stargazer so... mad? "Oh well... Know that your welcome in my humble abode anytime." Eriel started to walk back to the campsite with Emrhyst folowing her, Star gazer's eyes never left them.

OOC: Hm... maybe you should make the shade appear... Its gonna get real boring if you don't.

IC: Good night little one, I'm going to bed. Emrhyst went inside the tent and curled up, leaving enough room for Eriel to sleep comfortably. After afew minutes, Eriel went back into the tent and turned off the lights. She quickly put wards around the camp and then allowed the trance-like state to take her.

She awoke with a start from the pain radiating from the scar. Using her mind, Eriel told Reb, "Get my sword and the dagger. Alert my dragon, I'm going to slow him down." With that she dug her heels into the mud, when the shade turned around, she kicked his chin, causing him to spit blood. "Thrysta!" The shade fell back several yards and Eriel started to make a run back for the camp.

OOC: Hm... Let's get Galby's soldiers to attack us later in the Rp.

IC: Eriel breathed heavily as she sat on the log beside the fire place. Her scar's burning had been somewhat reduced with the shade's death. She started doing afew breathing excersizes to help control the pain. She wondered why it did not go away before she knew, "It was a replica. The real one is here." She rushed back into the tent and emerged with her corselet, sword, dagger and range equips.

Eriel stared hard at the blade which Leth held. It radiated anger, hate and fear. She shuddered as she thought of it. She stood beside Reb, crouching a little, her sword at her side, the edge of the blade facing her opponent. She waited, and waited, and waited. Leth din't move, and neither was she going to.

OOC: ok ladies. I think I can join in now. This is a good opportunity.

Faefnir sped towards the camp. He was in the dragon fortress with Star as well, but when she left, he had other business he had to take care of, so he couldn't leave with her despite the loathing in his heart. He roared as he got close and landed with the rest of the group. LEAVE THEM ALONE! Leth faltered out of fear a little bit. Faefnir smiled lightly at his mate, then refocused his attention to Leth. So I suggest you just turn around and leave now. Someone could get hurt.

OOC: Oo, Hi Feafnir LOL

IC: Emrhyst leaped out of the cave when she heard the commotion. She was just in time to see Leth dissapear. She roared a little as she saw Feafnir. Eriel sat on the grass as the pain started to diminish, it had reached its peak when she saw Torcherer and had focused her attention on it. She shuddered again.

She'll be okay, it's just a what do you call it.... a shock. Emrhyst looked at Eriel as she shuddered again. " Oh, don't worry 'bout me. I'll be fine." Eriel said then lay back on the grass. Emrhyst curled around her rider.

OOC: Hey guys, go on without me for awhile, my mind's blank.

Eriel woke up first in the morning. If it could be called a morning, for the sun wasn't up yet, and the owls were hunting. She spied the land and the sea, savouring the sight and the smells. She went down to the shore and lit a fire to keep warm.

Emrhyst stood up and flew to the shoreline. She curled next to Eriel and roared happily as StarGazer flew over them.

Emrhyst looked up and roared with joy. Eriel looked up and saw Feafnir trailing Stargazer. She laughed and said, "Leave them be. They need some privacy." Emrhyst snorted and dived into the sea to hunt.

OOC: LOLLOL!! This is... this is... eh. LOL =P Will your charry's have kids? XD tell me if they do LOL Ive got afew really good black and gold designs forming in my mind right now.

IC: Emrhyst watched in fascination as she hunted the fishes, the sea was salty yet sweet. She spied a fish hiding behind a reef and grabbed it by the tail, flicked it into the air and chomped it into half.

IC: Star Gazer twined her neck with her. She could hear Reb laughing through their mind. " Shut up." Star Gazer growled, but to be scary.
" Fine." Reb said, but couldn't hold back a laugh./color]

Emrhyst landed back on the shore with a ton of fresh fish and afew underwater plants for Eriel. She nearly threw up when she saw them but smiled as she realised they tasted terrific. Emrhyst looked at Star and laughed. "Congrats!"

OOC: ok, lets bring in some action =P

IC: Emrhyst was about to reply when she smelt an all too familiar stench. Raz'zac. Eriel looked up and saw them on their winged steeds. They must have seen you mating! Hide! I see more coming up behind them. Eriel quickly nocked her bow and took aim.

Emrhyst slamed into a Lerthblaka and allowed Eriel to shoot afew arrows at its head. She smiled in satisfaction as it dived nose down. Her smile was soon replaced by a look of anxiety as the Raz'zac angled downwards towards Stargazer and Reb. Emrhyst roared and knocked afew of them away. She landed some inches infront of Star and released a torrent of flames at the Lerthblaka.

Eriel released arrow after arrow then saw a host of urgals coming in by the sea. Emrhyst stopped her rampage momentarily. She roared and knocked a Lerthblaka aside with her tail.

OOC: bah. forefoot, hand, same difference. lol

Emrhyst roared and headed stright for the urgals who had begun raining arrows. As they approuched, she realised some of them were too big for urgals. Then she saw something black heading towards her fast. Eriel stayed on the ground and rained arrows into the Urgals. Her quiver was soon empty though, she brandished her blade.

Eriel looked at Star Gazer with anxiety, she knew how much weaker a pregnant dragon was. She had not much time to dwell on it though, for soon, she was using every muscle in ehr body to stay alive and to kill. As she battle turned in their favour, she froze. A battalion of Kull started to climb out of their ship. She winced as an axe sliced her back then turned round and stabbed the urgal in the gut, only to be hit by a sword in the calf. She winced as it found home. Emrhyst quickly flew back to her rider and roared. The gem on her head shining. She slammed her tail into the ground, effectively dividing the area into two separate peices and knocking a kull over. She quickly brought a claw down then flew back to her rider, who was limping as she fought.

Eriel looked back and saw Star gazer fighting Shruiken and Feafnir infront of her. She heaved a sigh of relief then took some energy from the emerald in her sword to heal her wound. She ran back and plunged her blade into the heart of a kull before succumbing to overwhelming pain. Emrhyst roared as it traversed across their mental link.

Emrhyst roared at the kull coming from Star Gazer's direction. Then, she saw Shruiken looming over her, getting ready for the final blow. She grit her teeth and lunged at him. Before she hit him though, she told Star, Sorry, couldn't let him kill you.

OOC: Where's Reb? She was in the Rp

IC:Eriel looked at Shruiken and nudged him with her toe. "He's dead." Emrhyst looked at Shruiken then stomped his head into the dirt. Where's Reb?

Eriel was about to laugh when her scar started to burn with more strength, Emrhyst roared she lunged at a kull who was casting a spell. She quickly bit its head off and watched as it vanished into the air. Eriel quickly got up. "He'll be back..."

" I don't think that was a kull at all. I think it was a shade impersonating a kull. The shade may have just changed form with it." Star said, hopping she was right. Reb lost control and Zantya came into control.
Zantya jumped off Star and headed over to the headless kull. She bent down and whiped some blood onto her fingers. She smelled it. " It was definately a shade." She said after a little while, and whiped the blood on her shorts.

Eriel looked at the headless wreck. She kicked it into a fire. Emrhyst grunted, "Should've aimed for his heart." Eriel merely stared off into the sky, as if expecting something else.

Emrhyst flew over to her rider, before she could ask what was on her rider's mind, Eriel told her. "Its been so long since i've been so near to Vreongard. I was only nine when i came here and marvelled at its beauty. Now, it's all gone." Emrhyst looked at her rider and curled around her. Well when Galbatorix is dead we coudl rebuild it. Eriel smiled.

Eriel watched the others and smiled, then walked over to her campsite to rest. Emrhyst stayed outside the tent now, not willing to risk her rider's life again.

OOC: pass. I can't think of anything. and besides, Faefnir is asleep.

Eriel quickly disarmed herself and took out a scroll to pass the time. Emrhyst looked up as she saw something take flight for the main land. Shruiken... Eriel heard Emrhyst's thoughts and replied, "Do I have to arm myself again?" She said with a frown. She did not want to get back into full armour.

Eriel finally got tired enough to 'sleep' She lay on her dragon's underbelly and waited for the trance-like state to overtake her. Night passed into day, she quickly awoke as the first sunbeam fell on her face. She looked around then rested on a rock over looking the sea.

Eriel stared at the sea for awhile. Listening to the hypnotic rhythm of the waves crashing onto the rocks, seeing the sea gulls swoop in gracefully to catch fishes, the smell of salt in the air. Eriel could almost taste the sea water. Emrhyst came up behind her and dived into the sea, showering her rider with salt water. Eriel laughed and sputtered at the same time as the huge wall of water came her direction.

Emrhyst snorted with amusement. I'm going to hunt Eriel. Emrhyst said then took off, leaving Eriel on the beach staring at Vreongard. Emrhyst spotted a herd of dear on the path. She smiled to herself and licked her lips then swooped down and killed one with a swift bite in the neck. She quickly landed to take her prey then went back to the beach to eat.

Eriel watched Emrhyst land near the others. "I better get myself some food..." She thought to herself, then ran into the forest. She looked at some strawberries and several grapes and thought to herself, "Which one to take... Eh.. I'll take all." With that she made a bag out of her cloak and carried the stuff back to the others.
