Johnny Cash was one of the best artist out there for his time. He came up with some great songs like "Ring of Fire" and "Walk the Line" But I have to say that people don't respect him for what he contributed to the music world.....
Oh and I love playing his songs on my guitar. its fun

I don't like his voice that much.
And the songs where he is talking make me not like him that much.

IT is just the way his voice sounds why you don't like him or is it the style of his music?

I should explain myself better; I don't like him because some of his songs he talks through, and I find that very boring. Even if it is a good story. For example, Bob Dylan can't sing worth anything, but he makes the effort. Hopefully that makes sense.

Yeah I do find some of his songs hard to listen to. But then there are songs like "Boy Named Sue" And they are just awesome. Have ya heard that one?

I have, actually that song is what I don't like about him. He just talks. Anybody can do that.

Ahh I see, but that is such a funny song.....then again thats more of a story then a song. You get that with some country music.

I don't mind, I do the same thing.
I like some country music, just not him that much. The story is pretty funny, but it isn't that fun to listen to. Folk rock is more my game.
