CP has released the third and final spoiler which is this:

In Brisingr, someone will become pregnant.

The question: is who and by who?

Personally, I believe that it is Katrina and Roran. According to page 193-194 of the USA paperback version of Eldest, it kinda hints around that they were... well we'll say that it sounds like they were doing some things. It says that Roran was in his room and Katrina came in. And then it suddenly skips to the soldiers coming into the room later that night. It also says that Katrina screamed, covering herself with the blankets as if she were naked.

This is just my opinion. Does anyone else think like I do?

Interesting. I don't remember that part of it, but I didnt really pay that much attention to the Roran part of the story.

yeah i agree with u icebear i remeber that part of the story and lets just say he DIDNT get into too many details (which is prolly a good thing lol) and yeah i would think that it would be katrina beacause of those few missing details

Yeah, it wasn't really too much of a surprise for me. When I read that part of the story I thought to myself: "I bet she'll become pregnant."

It just makes you wonder how this pregnancy will affect Roran and Katrina's roles in the books. I can't wait for Brisingr to be out! It makes me want to go ahead and write the movie script for it like I did the other two.

Hmmm... I'm glad somebody posted what the spoiler is about. My computer wouldn't play the video. (Even though I have the right player!!! ) I agree, it's either Katrina or Helen.

Yes, the video wouldn't work for me this morning, but this afternoon it was working fine. It wasn't really much, probably only about 15 seconds. It was just him saying that this was the final spoiler and that someone would get pregnant and then it went black.

Well, Arya could get pregnant (God forbid!) or Nasuada (hopefully not). Angela could (but honestly, I don't think she'd do something like that). Helen would seem like the type to get pregnant, but Joed is a very old man. And let's not forget that Elain (if that's the correct spelling), Horst's wife, is also pregnant. If indeed it was Katrina, Elain could be like Katrina's mother and help look after it and take care of them both.

Well, Elain is already pregnant, so it's not her. I agree Katrina would be kind of boring and predictable. If it's Helen (Jeod's wife) it'd just hinder him, not to mention it would be hilarious. Yeah probably, maybe Saphira will get captured and forced to mate with Thorn or Shrukian. If Katrina is pregenant and she has then Roran would have a lot more to worry about.

Whoops, I've totally messed this thread up!

I went back and watched the video and CP said that a CHARACTER becomes pregnant. So, it might not be a woman, it might be Saphira, which I haven't considered before, but I would have thought that he would introduce that later in the series like in the last book. If it is Saphira, then her pregnancy will greatly affect the way she battles. And it could be that Glaedr is the father. He is, after all, on the front cover of the book.

Why would Glaedr mate with her though? He already said there were other dragons out for Saphira. Also it probably would be better for Saphira to have hatchlings in the threed book so they could be more introduced in the fourth, and possible one of them get killed by Thorn of Shrukain.

Well, I don't know why Glaedr would mate with Saphira. It was just an idea, but I really don't think that Thorn would mate with her. If she did become pregnant, then I think that it'd be by the green dragon.

But I still kinda lean toward Katrina because of what was in Eldest, even though it is the most obvious.

Like I said earlier, if it IS Saphira, Glaedr won't be the baby daddy (lol!!!) 'cause he already told Saphira to save her heart for the right dragon. (I'm guessing that dragons mate for life, like doves and eagles.)

If he dies that could be the reason. After all CP did say someone important would die at the end and it would be him. I don't think he will mate with her becasue of what he said. Also if they did and Glaedr died it would make it much worse for Saphira.

lol, well he is ancient and if Oromis dies he will probably die. I wouldn't mind though if he died and Gleadr lived. He would probably not want to and if he did and died it would affect Saphira badly.

Random thought, if the first cover fetured Saphira, the third on Glaedr, the fourth one probably the green dragon, and the second one is of Thorn and if the other three dragons were all good then mabey that means Thorn will bedome good. And their are none with a picture of Shrukian. Don't aks how I thought of this random things come to my headsometimes lol.

Honestly, I thought that Roran's parts were exciting. I thought that Eragon's training was a bit boring. But it's just my opinion.

The second spoiler was that Eragon's going to meet a new enemy who likes to laugh a lot, but not in a good way. As to that spoiler, I have no idea.

I find that in movies and books, enemies that laugh a lot might be the most annoying, but when they laugh, people around them usually back away....quickly, especially if they know them. Of course, I'm not worried. Now that Eragon totally pwns the competition! (Non-magic competition that is. *stabs picture of Murtagh and Thorn*)

I'm really interested in seeing who this new villian will be. The spoiler kinda seemed random, but I guess that's what makes a good spoiler: you never expect it.

Hmmm.... It's either a slaver, or Marcus Tabor, the head hauncho guy of Dras Leona. Isn't that where Eragon, Saphira, and Roran were flying around in that chapter release? (Technically they were flying around Helgrind, but that's right next to Dras Leona, so you get the idea.)

I had a flash that Saphira was standing stiff-legged in a room of kin Orrin's palace with ten kittens hanging off her. One on her nostril, one on her lip and on her tail. She stands there, one of her eyes twitching like she's tremendously insane.

Lol, the kittens all over Saphira reminded me of Salem, my black kitten. The first week we had her, I went everywhere in the house wearing jeans, because she loved to climb our legs, with her claws extended. Lol, my mom can't wear jeans for very long in hot weather though, so she had a LOT of scratches.

Oh, it's definitely Katrina. The signs of Roran and Katrina... doing it... are very obvious, what with her covering herself when the soldiers came in, the fact it was night, and Roran about to go on a dangerous journey. It's definitely Katrina.

I just read Eldest again and sorry if someone already said this, but when the soldiers came she pulled up her blanket. So yeah I agree.

In the first book Saphira was the new dragon on the block so she was in the cover. Same thing with Thorn i the second book. Third book now I thing that something big will happen with Glaedr maybe he dies. As for book 4 it is not printed yet so Shruikan might be on it especially if he is the one who dies.

Now for the pregnancy part I thing that it is Katrina who got pregnant on that night she spent with Roran before she was kidnapped.
