Skills: - Camouflage: Mia also has a unique ability to camouflage herself in any place. She does this by making herself completely invisible. So well does this ability work that she can’t be seen from any direction and the light is not even disrupted by her presence, as if she didn’t even exist. The only downside that she admits is that it doesn't last forever, only a measly three hours, but even so, it serves it purpose.
- Healing: Mia naturally heals. This, however, doesn’t apply to most of her vital organs, if they are damaged, the only way they get fixed, is if someone heals them with magic or they heal over time. Her skin and bones will heal almost immediately. If something gets cut off, like her tail or arm or something, not including her neck or head, if she gets close to it, within a few feet, it will reattach itself.
- Light: She has a natural light ability, attributed to her odd hatching as well. Her scales glow when ever in the presence of darkness, especially shadow darkness. They glow white, she has yet to come across anything dims her light, even when she fell into a canyon that was blacked out by shadows and their magic.

Character History: - Mia was born to a lowly and simple family. Instantly her egg was brought before the elders because it was like crystal glass and she could be seen inside. The Elders told her parents that because of her oddity, she must be used as a sacrifice, so the normal eggs and dragons wouldn’t have to be used. Her egg was abandoned as a sacrifice to the Sun God, Sepicer. The elders predicted that the sun was going to be blocked out by the NightSun(moon), controlled by the Sepicer’s brother, Semoh. In order for Sepicer to overcome his brother he needed to purge the tribe from oddities, and she was the only one, and to do that, they were to be sacrificed to him. The elders took her up to the peak of the falls and set the egg on a stack of old shells where other sacrifices had been set. The elder then retreated several steps and began an ancient ceremony, which involved songs, praying, and dancing. At the climax, Mia’s egg was to be burned to a crisp.

As the head Elder started to open his mouth, something unexplainable happened. There was a s/ucking sound from Mia’s egg, and all the light vanished from the land, nothing, not even the light from sun could be seen. It felt like a heavy blanket of fog, but made from the blackest parts of the universe. Then a humming sound broke out and light radiated from Mia’s; it became more intense than the sun in just a few seconds. It all gathered together and built a solid, living beam and shot toward where the sun and moon should’ve been, slicing through the blackness. The moon had moved completely from in front of the sun now, yet neither showed. The beam absorbed the light and left the egg, going up, and threw the land once again in darkness. Then it returned, a thousand times whiter and brighter than before.

The Elders clamped their eyes shut at the intensity. The light was absorbed into Mia’s egg, and then erupted from it. It drove the blackness away, and the sun shown once more. Even with their eyes shut, the Elders where struck blind. At the exact second of the eruption, Mia hatched from her egg.

Mia’s life was pretty much unchanged for the next year or so until she got in tremendous trouble. Mia’s tribe lived in a cave behind the twin falls. They had worked it so water ran from the river above into the cave for water. Mia was playing by the waters entrance and broke the dam that slowed the water to manageable pace. The entire bottom level and half of the second, was flooded before it could be fixed. Her parents, as was everyone else, were furious with her. She flinched at their harsh words and wanted to disappear, and she did. She didn’t know anything had happened till gasps and disturbed questions came. She tried to look at herself, and was surprised that her front legs were nearly completely translucent; it wasn’t for a few years more that she found out that no one could see her at all, that only she saw her body.

The third time she flooded the lower caverns, most people had moved up, but she still was in trouble. As time progressed she realized she could go from visible to invisible both instantaneously and whenever she pleased. She wasn’t left alone for long and her amazingly hard scales prevented her from getting injuries as when she was younger, so it wasn’t until her twentieth year that she discovered she healed much, much quicker than others. There was a cave-in and her wings, tail and left foot were mangled. She was taken to the infirmary and within twenty minutes she was as good as new.

She was nearing her twenty-fifth birthday when things turned for the worst. The dragon hunters had arrived three years before and were wiping out her clan. She made a bold choice to leave Blue Falls and find someone to help them. She shot from the entrance and flew straight and fast. The Hunters were set up not far from the entrance and set their sights on her. She easily dodged the spears (because of her size) they threw at her and was soon past them, or so she thought. One of the greatest marksmen had joined them and he picked up a bow, nocked an arrow, and let it loose. She saw it coming and tried to dodge it, but was unable to. It struck her wing joint, separating it from her body. She immediately fell from the sky, into a deep dark ravine that no one, not even dragons, had ventured into.

She crashed onto a ledge that jutted out, just before the light faded completely. Her wing floated down and began to reassemble itself when it neared her. She heard voices, growling, and unearthly noise coming from around her. She noticed her scales beginning to glow, as her egg had done before; they had glowed very dimly in the nights, but her they shone brightly, in the presence of shadows and dark magic. A dark figure stepped forth from a cavern some distance away and saw her. His mouth and hands moved and Mia felt the ledge underneath her suddenly shattered and sent her falling into the blackness, where her scales started glowing brighter and brighter the darker it got. She tried to fly, but her wing was still not fully attached.

She hit the bottom some five or six miles down from the ledge, about fifteen from the surface. She landed brutally on her skull shattering it to pieces. She laid there for several days. When she gained consciousness, she couldn’t remember anything. She knew what her name was, but that was about it. She tried to remember more but could only get a few things, such as her age, her powers, and the story of her birth. She looked around her, the only light was coming from her and she could see creatures just on the edge of it; they were dark and foreboding, but they seemed to fear her, or at least the light from her. She tilted her head up, but could see nothing. She didn’t know much, but she knew she had to get out of there. She jumped up, and ran into other flying and crawling creatures that were pained by her light. She didn’t stop flying until she reached open air and the surface. She didn’t know which way to go so she picked a direction and flew. She flew until she got tired, she stopped in a large tree, curled up and slept. The warm sun woke her up the next morning, and she couldn’t remember where she was or what she was doing.

She knew what her name was, but that was about it. She tried to remember more but could only get a few things, such as her age, her powers, and the story of her birth. What was I doing? she asked herself. I was going in this direction, so I guess I should keep going. She spent the next several years wandering around, trying to remember. She soon got it committed to her long-term memory that she suffered from short-term memory loss which activated when she slept, so she would remember everything as long as she didn’t sleep. When she forgot she always remember these things: Her name, what her age was when she lost her memories, her powers, the stories of her birth, and that she had short-term memory loss.

She met a young boy named Anthony one day, and she stayed with him for a while. Being around him somehow made her able to remember things from previous days, usually only seconds though. When he was forced from his home, she was left behind, by accident she was sure, and nearly completely forgot him. The only way she remembered him was in that she had dreams that involved him and when she’d wake up some days she had a memory that’d tell her who he was, but never where he went. She was forced to roam again and during her roaming she kept looking. She’d ask people if she’d seen a boy that looked like him, and push his image into their minds. There weeks when she won’t remember him, it is really just by chance that she remembers him at all. When she references him to herself or someone else she says that he left an impression on her or Impressed her. He’s the one that coined what she now designates as her species, because she could breathe fire and was the size of a lizards; there were big ones around his home town, some five or six feet long.

Character Personality: - Her personality changes slightly from memory segment to memory segment. For the most part she is a compassionate person and if she takes up a cause with fight for with all her strength. She is also very loyal to her friends, though her friends change quite often and she is constantly making ‘new’ ones. She has the potential to be a very bold and outgoing person, but sometimes she is very timid and reserved. Doesn’t exactly like physical fighting and would rather use her mouth for a fight than her talons and teeth, though she rarely tries to calm an emerging fight. She is generally accepting if those she is accepting accept her as she is. The few friends she’s made in the past always leave her because of her disability, except for one, so it is hard for her to make true friends, though she can never remember why, but she goes from friend to friend, but usually more on an acquaintance level. She gets depressed when she sees any couple together that has real love because she has it set in her mind that she will never be capable of that, again because of her disability. Though she does blame a lot on her disability, she likes to try and do things herself, as an attempt to prove to herself that she is still positive even with all the negatives that the memory-loss brings with it.

Character's Physical Description: - Mia’s scales are crystal clear like diamonds. They are on odd shape for scales though as they have a perfect triangular shape. They overlap each other, but don’t obstruct the view of her snowy white skin underneath. They are also odd because they run the width of her body instead of the length. The white skin makes her completely white except for the small amount of black in her eyes. She is only two and a half feet long and only stands a foot at and half at her full height when her four legs are touching the ground.
