Post Sarah & Arcus
Name: - Sarah

Age: - Sarah is twenty years old.

Gender: - Female.

Skills:
Magic: Sarah is very adept in magic. Her magic is multicolored. It is much like a rainbow and can change color, mainly because of her connection with Arcus, as well as depending upon her mood at the time. She likes to use magic more than any other skill, mainly because she is confident in her ability, having been taught by both dwarves, and the elves. Her magic is particularly good when it comes to magic affecting the mind.

Archery: Sarah is as good with archery as she is with magic. She can shoot very well and rarely ever misses. She carries an elven longbow with arrows sung from an iron tree. The arrows are unbreakable, and are as light as normal wood. She can easily hit a bird on the wing that is fifty yards away.

Intelligence: Sarah is very intelligent, and is a skillful tactician. She rarely gets into close fights, mainly because she cannot handle a sword. She never gets in over her head and is very levelheaded. She likes to read and learn more. She knows how to lead and likes to do so. She can easily use her wits to outsmart her enemies before they even know it. She can cause them to play into her hands at any given time because of her great intelligence. She loves to manipulate evildoers and cause them to fall to her superior intelligence, but she also knows that there are many other beings that are as smart, or are more intelligent than her, so she continually studies to learn, and make herself better than before.

Charm: Sarah is very beautiful and to get what she wants she can work her "charm" on people, mainly men. She is very flirtatious and knows how to get people to talk, then just before things get serious; she breaks it off and disappears for extended periods of time. She, as a woman can easily do this to even the most serious men. She, as an abnormal beauty can easily get men’s tongues to loosen, but she has never had a true relationship.

Dragon riding: Sarah is an experienced dragon rider. She knows how to contort her body and flow with Arcus as the dragon dives, swoops, and twists in the air. She has learned how to ride comfortable without a saddle, as well as how to fight from Arcus’ back without the saddle, or the straps holding her in. She enjoys the freedom of flight and holds it as one of Arcus’ greatest gifts.

Race: - Human.

Hair: - Dark Brown.

Eyes: - Brown.

Home Village: - Mountain in the Hadarac.

Parents: - Jacob (Deceased) and Debra (Still Living).

Siblings: - None.

Character Personality: Sarah is a mixture of opposites, she loves to make people angry and to aggravate, but at the same time is very motherly and caring for others. She is extremely hard headed, but likes to listen to what others have to say about things. She enjoys singing, reading, and dragon riding. She loves a good argument, but does not really like fighting. She loves both Arcus and Saggita and really likes her home, as well as her dwarven friends that live there with her. She likes to fly and just hang out. She dislikes being alone for long periods of time, but does like her alone time. She is very flirtatious. She likes to see her enemies hang their heads in defeat, as well as see them run away. She does not like to kill, but will kill anyone or thing if they try to or hurt her friends or family. She is quite athletic and loves to train her archery, magic, and the occasional dagger fighting. She likes things that are "pretty" mainly because, despite her rough appearance, she is really a "girly-girl". She is very hardworking as well as talkative. She enjoys gardening, as well as harvesting and eating. She loves her mother and father, though he is dead. She hates Galbatorix, as well as Arnon and Tamar because they are evil and because they hurt her family. She is fiercely defensive of what she believes, as well as her friends and family. She likes dwarves very well as well as elves, but believes that most humans are backstabbers. She hates when she loses and is very competitive. She will never turn her back on a friend or family. She trains almost constantly and never gives up.

Character History: Sarah was born into a middle-class family in Terim. Her father was one of the “hired” soldiers for the ships, and her mother was a helper to the herbalist, Angela. Though she was very “behind-the scenes”. She knew about the were-cat as well as Angela’s magical abilities. Sarah’s mother learned how to use magic from the herbalist herself. The skills gained by Debra, were transferred to Sarah through training and time, as well as natural ability. Sarah lead a happy life, being extremely popular with the boys her age and those around her age, but she never really did make a real connection with any of them. She worked at home, keeping things up while her mother and father were at work and never really thought of anything more, she was content, until, the day that her father was late, very late. As a matter of fact it was three days after her father should have gotten home. Sarah, nervous as to his whereabouts quietly left the city, as well as her mother who was very busy. Sarah snuck out of the city and traveled North, to a place that her father had taken her years ago, a small bay, covered in reefs, as well as rocks. The young woman swam through the water strongly, from all the practice she had obtained while with her father in the cold ocean water. She swam to the very edge and saw something on the horizon. It looked like a small stone, or something of that sort, but it was moving. Sarah nervously left the safety of the rocks and swam to the “thing”. As she neared it, she observed that it was a ship, but without a mast, or oars. It was completely crippled. When she saw the insignia (a sword cutting through a shield with a bear on it) she screamed aloud. She began to frantically swim to it and saw that the people on the ship were all dead, all except one. She saw her father, in full amour, mortally wounded. He held his gigantic broadsword in one hand, as his shield, one with a powerful lion’s head on the front. He smiled weakly at his daughter, then said, “Sarah … take this and go to the Varden. We were attacked by Galbatorix, but managed to kill them, but not before I was wounded.” Said the man, indicating the crimson spot on his chain mail, and the hole in his plate mail. Then, the dieing man said, “… This is a dragon’s egg. This is what I have been doing all my life, fighting for the freedom of our race from that crazy king, damn his soul. Sarah, I want you to take it and make your way through the Empire, then to the Hadarac Desert, then into the Beor Mountains, then to the Varden. You are the only one that can do it, and Sarah, … I love you. Tell your mother that I will see her when her time comes, until then … I love you …” said the man as he took one last shuddering breath, then died. In his hand, under his shield was a stone, about three pounds in weight. It was a beautiful stone, covered in differing colors of the rainbow. There were red, blue, green, yellow, orange, indigo, as well as violet colors. Sarah immediately went into the cabin, grabbed some coal, and a pack. Put the stone in her pack, then lit the ship on fire. Then, sadly as well as slowly the young maid made her way back to the bay, then to Terim. She tearfully repeated the story to her mother. After her mother got control of her senses, the woman gave Sarah a pack of rough traveling clothes, as well as enough food and water for many weeks, a map, and the greatest gift of all, a horse, but not just any horse; Saggita. Sarah’s mother’s horse. He was enchanted and was much more powerful, as well as intelligent that other horses, even more than the horses the elves had. Immediately after, Sarah left, never to return.

Over the following months, Sarah and Saggita became the greatest of friends, until one night in the middle of the Empire, near the city of Gilead, the stone began to crack. The cracks became more and more visible, until a hole was made inside, then a small colorful head emerged, the dragon was hatching. Sarah looked curiously at the hatchling, and then nervously reached forward. She touched the small dragon, but before she could remove her left hand, a powerful shock racked her entire body, paralyzing her completely. The pain was so great, Sarah blacked out. When the young woman woke, she saw that her head was resting against Saggita’s soft belly, and that the small dragon, who was a plethora of colors, and looked like a small living rainbow was curled up against her chest. She looked at the dragon and recalled a word she had heard that was from a different language that meant rainbow, “Arcus.” She whispered to the little dragon. The tiny hatchling squeaked contentedly and continued to snore, as it was deep within the land of dreams.

In the next few weeks, Sarah and Arcus began to gain a deep connection with each other. It took four weeks, but the small hatchling finally learned how to fly. The addition of the small dragon was a great asset to the group, as he could now talk, and alert them to any upcoming dangers, as well as the fact that he could hunt for them all. The dragon grew greatly in both strength and intelligence and soon, he was larger than Saggita, but Sarah had yet to ride him. She rationalized that, she couldn’t ride Arcus until she had a saddle for him and she had absolutely no clue as to how she would so that. The young dragon would simply snort angrily and fly away to kill something.

Then, the time came that Arcus was fed up with Sarah’s excuses and he forcibly put her on his back and took to the air. Sarah shrieked with a mixture of horror and surprise as Arcus dove and wheeled in the air. The rainbow colored dragon was a good flyer, and as far as Sarah was concerned, completely reckless, and totally horrifying. The young woman clung on to the dragon’s white spikes with a look of total fear on her face, but as her stomach calmed down, so did she. The rideress began to relax her grip, and her thick dress protected her legs from being skinned by the hard, rough scales. She gradually loosened up and a small smile slowly appeared on her face. Then, she did something totally unexpected; she slowly stood up on the dragon’s back and was surprised to see that she had great balance on the broad back of the dragon. She walked almost the entire length of the dragon, from his head, to the beginning of his tail. She said to the dragon, “If I had only known, I would have flown with you and never gotten off, it is a wonder you ever land!” exclaimed the woman. Arcus just gave her a bid smile, then dove to the ground and sat her beside a startled Saggita.

Some days later, Sarah began to feel vulnerable. They were not very far from the small town of Bullridge, one of the last towns before the great expanse of the Hadarac Desert. Sarah began to experiment with her magical ability, casting small spells, and learning that now that she was bonded with Arcus, her magic was more than tenfold stronger, as well as easier to control and use. She even began to experiment with healing spells, and other types of spells. She also noticed, that her magic, depending on her mood, could change colors. She continued to work with her spells and learning the Ancient Language, with the help of some of the scrolls that her mother had given her when she first started the journey. But, she still felt she should have something other than magic to defend herself. She walked into Bullridge and bought herself a dagger, as well as a longbow with oak arrows. She swiftly left Bullridge, mainly because there were rumors circling about a rider and a blue female dragon, and she didn’t want or need any extra attention.

Some days later, Sarah, Saggita, and Arcus were lost. They were in the middle of the vast expanse of sand, and heat, the Hadarac and they had no clue whatsoever as to which direction they should go. They wound up unknowingly wandering into Du Weldenvarden. Once there, Sarah and Arcus stayed on the ground. This was the land of the elves, the mysterious race that had disappeared after the Fall. They continued on their way, until Sarah met a young elf named Joseph. Joseph led the trio to the small elven village of Kirtan. Sarah was amazed by the life lead by the elves, and was also amazed by the fact that some of the elves, including Joseph were quite smitten with her. But, being the rideress she now was, she ignored their glances, knowing that she had a job to do and that unnecessary attachments were … uncomfortable. When Joseph saw how badly Sarah’s bow and arrows were made and, in an act of extreme kindness, sung her a bow from the best of the trees in Du Weldenvarden, and went to his own special orchard, where his own creation grew, iron trees. And, sung her thirty arrows, they were unbreakable and were as light as any other wood.

Sarah, Arcus, and Saggita spent quite a few weeks at Kirtan, learning the ancient language, poetry, as well as how to read and write in the ancient language. Over this time, Sarah and Joseph developed an extremely strong bond. They began to be with each other more and more often, until they were almost never apart. But, then the time came for Sarah, Arcus, as well as Saggita to depart. It was a very sad and slow leave, but in the end, Sarah was better for it. She left the elves with a renewed knowledge of the ancient language, a new bow that was both unbreakable, as well as extremely powerful, arrows, and a new ... friend. Sarah, Arcus, and Saggita slowly left the small elven village, but just before the lost sight, Sarah ran back and gave Joseph a small kiss on the cheek. Her first kiss. Then, they left.

The trio traveled through the Hadarac, but this time they were much more prepared. They traveled both fast and light through the hot sands, only stopping for drink and water, until they came to the mountains. They observed the rocky peaks from a distance, and as they neared them, saw that they were much taller than the typical mountain in the Spine, also, they were completely bare. The mountains were nothing but colossal rocks jutting up out of the sands, something that immediately set off both Sarah, as well as Arcus curiosity. As soon as they were close enough to allow Saggita a resting spot, the two were in the air and wheeling high in the sky, heading straight toward the nearest peak. They landed near the top, surprised to find that there was quite a large cave, as well as victuals of many different sorts. With a quick spell, and some of Arcus' energy, Sarah soon brought Saggita to the small cave. They decided to set up camp there for the night. That night, it got cold, much colder than would have been thought possible by the three, and they were forced to climb deep into the cave, and what they saw amazed them. The "cave" they had first gone into, was naught but a small tunnel into the real cave, which was connected to many other small tunnels in the rock. Sarah nervously called into the cave, "Hello? Is anyone here, is this place owned by someone ... or something??" When there was no answering call, Sarah wiped her brow very relieved. They spent the rest of that day exploring. They found that there in fact were no other inhabitance, so Sarah, Arcus, as well as Saggita all decided to make it their own. They began to move everything about, which included covering over any entrances, as well as casting wards against scrying, teleport entrance, and such as that. Sarah and Arcus even created a small, but comfortable dragon hold. There were thirteen caves, of differing sizes devoted to this. There was put in each, a small bed, as well as a lamp. But, the fourteenth, was by far the best, it was Sarah, and Arcus' personal chambers. Created specifically for them. The walls were coated in a magic, which reflected either the sky, or showed a marvelous rainbow. It had in it, a large, comfortable bed, as well as a drinking trough and a hay bed for Saggita, then a large well-like trough and a depression in the stone for Arcus. Here, they were comfortable, and here for the first time, they felt at home. But, knowing that is was likely that this place could become the home to people of the Varden, the dwarves, as well as the elves, Sarah and Arcus set about creating rooms in the rock, shaping it and forming it after the dragon melted it. They created over the course of three months an entire city, in the rock itself. They casted spells that blocked the entrances, unless a password was known and even brought in crops of all kinds into the fortress. They prepared the crops, and tended them, until the fruits and vegetables were able to sustain themselves. They enjoyed their time there, but in the end, decided to move on to the Varden and reveal themselves as dragon and rider, but not before instructing Saggita as to what she was to do. They left Saggita enough food and drink for many months, then flew on to Farthen Dur.

They made good progress, until they were ambushed by slavers. The grotesque, sweaty men approached Sarah as the walked along the riverbanks of a large winding river that marked the end of the Haradac. The ugly men rode closer and were much more brave when they saw what was in front of them was naught but a young woman, and a fine one at that. Remarked a particularly rude man. They approached the woman confidently and said, "Come here gurly, come with us, property has no weapons, so drop that pretty little bow and knife, eh?" Sarah looked at the man and said, "I will not drop these "pretty little weapons" for neither you, nor any other scoundrel in these sands, now I would advise you to leave ... now!" The men looked slightly perturbed at the sight of the woman standing up to them, but the leader, a burly man, of about six feet in height rode closer and grabbed the woman by the air, it was his last mistake. As quickly as the eye could follow, the woman jumped up and slit his throat with her dagger, the blue blade gleaming with the crimson blood on it. She looked dangerously at the men, and said, "Anyone want to try something." she pulled out her bow and arrows and held them at the ready.

Arcus, who was some distance away swimming in the water heard the commotion and flapped his wings hard to catch up to Sarah who had gone on ahead. When he got there, he saw an appalling sight, there were dead and dieing men all around Sarah, the woman stood perfectly still, the bloody dagger still in her left hand, and her right hand exposed, as if she had used magic. When he reached Sarah, the woman sagged to the ground, exhausted by the energy it took to kill the men with magic. Arcus looked at her and said, Are you ok! I am so sorry that I was not here to help you, I am so ... He stopped mid-sentence and sat down beside the woman, she had learned how to kill, just another lesson for a rider...

Two weeks later, the two arrived at Farthen Dur. They were greeted well, but there were still some hard feelings toward the riders, especially from a group of dwarves who wore purple scarves over their faces, by these they were particularly "disliked." But, being the young woman she was, Sarah was not easily scared, nor was Arcus. They boldly walked the streets of the dwarven city with no fear. They spoke to Nausda and once they were recognized, went into the heart of the dwarven nation and began to explore.

Over the next few weeks the duo enjoyed their time in the lands of the dwarves, making many friends as well as enemies. They dined with the dwarf clan leaders, and even visited some of the temples to their gods. They went to every dwarf clan but one, the clan of Az Sweldn rak Anhûin. Sarah was very interested in them, mainly because when she first arrived at Farthen Dur, they had said some particularly mean things about them. And, for no other reason than to make them angry, she was determined to go to their lands. So, they did.

Three weeks later, despite the warnings of the other dwarf clan leaders, the two arrived. The two landed in the middle of a large dwarven city, of which none knew the name, but they landed and saw that no one had come to greet them. Arcus looked at Sarah questioningly, but saw the light in her eyes and thought better of saying anything. They walked through the seemingly uninhabited city, with their eyes peeled and their weapons close at hand. They knew that this was a dangerous position, but they also knew that if they didn't do something, the Az Sweldn rak Anhûin would never get over their hate of dragons an riders. They quietly walked toward the castle, a powerful and imposing structure and knocked loudly and asked for entrance. The door slowly opened and in front of them stood six large, armed dwarves with slightly glowing blades. The dwarves leapt at them, the glowing blades making patterns in the air as they came toward Sarah and Arcus, then, without thinking Sarah yelled a powerful spell in the ancient language. Almost instantly, the guards dropped their glowing blades and began to sob. The spell had broken their hate and now all they felt was guilt, great guilt. They walked over and helped Sarah off of Arcus and said, "Anything you need, Sarah, Argetlam, you too, Arcus, Bjartskular. If it is in our power, we will do it for you, anything at all." They bowed before the two and said, "We will never leave your side, nor your service, we are forever in your debt, please grant us this wish, else our honors will be worthless." said the six. Sarah and Arcus both thought about it for a long time, then said, "I do not wish for slaves, but we have a home in the Hadarac, and it could use the touch of a dwarven hand, can you move, both yourselves and your families there and defend it. It is a powerful fortress and is made entirely of stone. Will you help us?" The lead dwarf looked at her and said, "Of course we will."

It took two months, but finally all six of the dwarves moved themselves, their families, as well as their property to the stone fortress. They cultivated the crops, shaped the stone into comfortable rooms, manned the defense, and set up doors, traps, as well as wards around their new home. The, once cave was now a small city, almost and impenetrable as Farthen Dur. And, finally Sarah and Arcus felt protected, around good friends, and friends that were close enough to be family.

For the next three months, their lives were relatively quiet, with nothing much to do until, they saw them, a small red dragoness and a rider, clothed entirely in black. The two attacked the fortress, but were repulsed by the fierce dwarven defenders, but mainly because of Sarah and Arcus.

...The four met in the air above the fortress, the sun was bearing down on the riders and dragons greatly. The dragons circled each other, looking for an opening, the red, a female was the fiercer of the two. She seemed to be about two years old, but from the scars and the age on her face, she was much older than that. She had thick, bony scales, large claws, teeth, as well as a vicious tail blade. Her rider, a shade, clothed entirely in black swung a powerful sword, one made for dragon riders with great skill and it took all of Sarah's energy to avoid the heavy blade, then the red attacked, she charged Arcus, and before the dragon had time to react, was clawing at his soft underbelly. Arcus roared in pain and tried to fight back, but the red was too fast, she kicked them away and circled higher. Sarah drew her bow and shot the dragoness through the wing, tearing a small hole in it, until the angry rider, with a snap of his fingers healed the wound. As Arcus charged the evil duo, Sarah attacked with her mind, and to her surprise he let her in, she entered, only to be tangled by strands of darkness, then he attacked her. She withdrew and casted a powerful spell, to muddle his mind and slow both his and the red's movements. Arcus was almost upon the two when they darted away. He opened his maw and blasted them with a multicolored flame, burning through the dragoness' scales and even burning the shade. The angry dragoness wheeled around and blasted Arcus and Sarah with a shadowy fire. It burned, oh how it burned, but they fought through it. Sarah casted another spell, causing the dragoness' wings to temporarily lock up. Arcus, knowing his part dove in and grasped her by her wings. He narrowly avoided the snapping jaws when he hurled the two to the ground with a force, which had the shade not used magic, would have killed them. Then, Arcus blew a massive ball of multicolored fire on the two, melting the sand around and under them, effectively freezing them in place. Sarah jumped off of Arcus and ran over, dagger in hand to kill the shade with a stab to the heart, but just then a great black mist rose out of the sands and the shade and dragon both were gone, all that was left were their imprints in the melted sand...

Then, with the last of their energy, Sarah and Arcus flew up to the main entrance to the fortress. The dwarven healers immediately went to work on them, healing the wounds that were in their power to do so...

Arnon sat in the small hut that was their home. His dragon, Tamar sat across the room from him. He was still tired from the magic used to escape the battle with Sarah and Arcus. He said, "They are strong, it will be hard to taint them with the darkness, once they are tainted, they will be suitable mates for you and I. But, it will be some time before then, we just need to bide out time, but why did you ask me to take us out of the battle before we won, we could have had them." said the shade to his dragon.

Tamar looked at her rider and said, I had us lleave, because though we could have won, it would likely have killed them in the process, especially the girl, if she dies neither of us will have a suitable companion. In other words, we would have killed them. They did put up a good fight for some who are so ... unexperienced, but we will take them. It will not be much longer, but until then we will need to wait in the shadows, their dwarven friends, will fall easily also, once we have tainted them with darkness. said the evil female dragon as she settled down and fell into a sleep. They would be theirs...

Weapons:
Bow and Arrows: Sarah's bow was sung from one of the best of the oaks in all of Du Weldenvarden. It was sung from a tree by Joseph for her when she visited with him.. The arrows were sung also, from an iron tree, the arrows are unbreakable and are as light as any other arrows, and the only difference is that they do not float. The tips of the arrows are iron and have been tempered and enchanted, so they are close to unbreakable.

Dagger: Sarah’s dagger is made from steel, and is just the normal dagger. She has, since she got it, placed a pommel stone, that is and can be many different colors, and changes depending on her mood, and can hold more energy than any other known stone. It also, now has a blue look to the blade, mainly because of the many enchantments, making the dagger unbreakable and unable to dull.

Likes: - Flowers, rainbows, swimming, archery, and magic.

Dislikes: - Ugly things, evil, darkness.

Animal Companions: - Her stark white female horse, Saggita.

Character's Physical Description: Sarah is a beautiful young woman. She had shoulder-length brown hair with dark brown eyes. She has a gentle face, but her eyes stop with their gentleness. Her eyes are very cold, but not evil. She has a beautiful smile with straight white teeth. She carries herself with great grace and nobility. She usually wears a multi-colored dress. She is about five feet, four inches tall. She is Caucasian, but has slightly tanned skin, giving her the appearance of having been in the sun a lot. Her hair is a mix between curly and strait, giving her hair a rough tussled appearance. She is very neat and clean at almost all times.

Dreams for the Future: - To stop Galbatorix and restore the riders to their former glory.

Reason for Dreams: - She wishes to see the old days, when the world was at peace.

Post Re: Sarah & Arcus
This is a well-done charry, voenth, but I have a few issues. She seems really lucky, and why does everyone do stuff for her? And how did they beat Arnon and Tamar, a pair of bloodthirsty, extremely experienced fighters, with pretty much no prior fighting experience? How did they break the hate of Az Sweldn Rak Anhuin so easily? And the fortress in the Hadarac seems like it’s copying Faefnir. Normally I wouldn’t say anything about that, but…. you’ll know soon if you don’t already. :(

I just don’t really see any flaws with them or obstacles that they’ve had to face… you’ve made it all seem implausibly easy for them. You did write it out and such quite well, though, but I’d like to see more of what I suggested. :)

Post Re: Sarah & Arcus
Well, in the battle with Arnon and Tamar, they were not alone in that fight, the dwarves helped them. And, they did not really defeat them.

I know that she has not had many obstacles, but in an RPG I am creating, that will soon clear that up.

As to the fortress, Well, it was sort of based from Faifnir's fortress, but I have charries living in the Beors, Islands, and even some in Du Weldenvarden. I have none in the Hadarac, and the Empire is about the worst place for a dragon and rider to live.

As to the Az Swelden Rak Anhuin, Sarah is quite obviously very well trained in magic, and I thought that well, with on-one but a horse to watch over their home when they were away, what better idea than to take some enemies of dragosn and riders and make them allies to both the Varden.

I agree that is has been easy, but as to flaws, neither Arcus, nor Sarah really have any special abilities other than what any regular dragon or rider can do. Neither are overly powerful, and if Sarah is tired, she is next to useless, her only weapons are a dagger, not much of a match for a sword, a bow, useless in close range, and magic, her only really usefull skill. She cannot do that many things. Arcus, on the other hand, can breathe fire, a useful weapon, but nothing special compared to Phalynx, Aeraldi, Na'ir, Rema, Shyara, Dawn, Gus, or any other dragon. He can fly, but not nearly as well as Phalynx, Gornath, Shyara, Rema, Na'ir, or really any other charry I know of. So, though neither of them have really faced much of anything, neither of them are al that powerful.

As to why Joseph did stuff for her, well he has a HUGE crush on her. I was going to make him as a charry, but decieded against it. Also, he only gave her a bow and arrows.

So, do you see where I am coming from?

Okay, this is starting to look better. I’m glad you have a reason now, for Arnon and Tamar to do that. But I still have an issue with the dwarves. It just doesn’t seem plausible for them to pack up everything and go live in the desert for this random girl, and if she caused it with a spell it seems rather manipulative and cruel of her. And this group of dwarves was made into a huge, pretty much unsolvable problem in the books. As well-trained as she is, I don’t think she could just change all that with a spell…

That’s my only issue, at the moment.

Post Re: Sarah & Arcus
Well, she didn't actually "brainwash" them, she just used a spell to stop their blind hate and rage, which, though she was "random", she was still a rideress, and she helped them to get over their hatred and bloodlust, allowing them to think clearly. They were thankfull, and notice, Ionly said there were six, and she had nothing to do or say to their families, so its not like she used the spell upon an entire villate, also, I said she was particularly good with magic affecting the mind. She did not change their thought process completely, only allowed them to see things as they really were. If you see what I mean.

Still seems kinda creepy though... I wouldn't want to hang out with her...

I just don't think it should be that easy for her to erase centuries of hate. Is there any way for you to make that a bit more difficult?

... I will both think and work on it, I mean, that was sort of crucial to her history... And, she's
not mean or anything, just sort of... Different, if you know what I mean. Lol

Okay. You can keep it, I just think maybe it should have been a little harder, or maybe she could have done something for them.

And I know, I just would be kind of afraid of someone who can mess with people’s minds like that, even if she’s not evil. lol

Well, that is not an "all the time" thing, its just that both she and Arcus panicked, and that is what happened, but it won't happen again, I think, it all depends on the circumstances of the RPGs she is in, but it is highly doubtful.
