Parents and History: His father, Adar, was a spy who was sent by the varden to be a soldier for king Galbetrox(sp?). After becoming one of the best soldiers for the king, he got carried away and forgot his duties. He told the king where the varden were, forgetting all about his wife and sons. He was shot and killed by Ajhid himself. Fricks mother, Ilana, ran from the Varden after her husband become evil, bringing her two sons, Frick and Lamar, with her. After hiding for years in the spine, Ilana and Lamar became very sick. Before death over took her, Ilana told Frick to never stop running from the king and to seek out the new Rider, Eragon.

Character personality: Frick is very quiet amongst people, so many people don't know him.

Character History: After his family dies, Frick travels across Alagaesia in search for training. After finding an unknown egg, he must seek out another Rider before the King finds him first. The King does not know yet about the new dragon rider, but is seeking Frick out for his shapeshifting abliltys.

Much longer character and personality...i'm also not to sure about the shape-shifting. Turning into a dragon would be extreme, so you might have to make it just wild creatures such as wolves and bears.
