Galbatorix's Children
Ok, so either in Brisingr or Inheritance (thinking it was Brisingr) it was mentioned that Galbatorix had a lot of concubines... And since we all now what that means, it's all too likely he has kids, and quite possibly lots of them.
My questions to you are: Since CP's only answer to the question about his possible children was a "no comment" and cheeky smiley face, how do you think they'll play into future stories? Will they be as crazy as he was (crazy can be inherited you know) ? Will they be chosen by one of the eggs Eragon and Saphira found? Good or evil? Murtagh-esque?

Good Idea ! I wonder if Christopher will create a sub-series like Rick Riordan's sub-series The Heroes of Olympus to the Percy Jackson series. You never know!

Re: Galbatorix's Children
That's a good theory! And I go even further in the story you started: what if... One of Galbatorix's sons becames the rider of a Shruikan's son? I know it is very unlikely that Galbatorix have hidden an extra egg, but if he has hidden Razac's eggs in a secret place, maybe dragon eggs layed by a female foresworn dragon could be there too. Maybe, along with Shruikan's eldunari... And thus this boy could became a powerful villain in Alagaesia. Or maybe, a cool anti-hero.

Re: Galbatorix's Children
In regards to Pedros comment: They didn't mention anything about Shruikan having eggs. The only eggs that were left unhatched were the ones that were very well hidden on the island when Eragon and Saphira found them. Shruikan was taken when he was still very small so he wouldn't have gotten any female dragons pregnant. Anytime after that the dragons were killed and there is nothing in any of the stories that attest to Shruikan forcefully getting any dragons pregnant and them producing eggs so that's out the window.
In regards to the original questions: There is a possibility that he has children but I personally don't think they will be very important. If he had many concubines than any children wouldn't have been very important to him and (he might save this for later books) no children were mentioned in the last book coming from his palace except for the two he threatened to kill.
It's still possible but there would be a lot of conflict with them. They probably wouldn't be allowed any kind of power or allowed anywhere near the eggs because of their father and they probably wouldn't be accepted for a long time.

Re: Galbatorix's Children
Until book 4 there was only 3 eggs left, but then we discover that were actually 260 more. In book 5 we may discover that Galbatorix hid some elsewhere. And Shruikan did have contact with female dragons, the female foresworn dragons.

Re: Galbatorix's Children
Galby probably wouldn't have hid any outside of his castle because he hardly left it and wouldn't have left it to chance that they were far away and not under his direct protection. I also don't remember much being mentioned about the Forsworn's dragons in the books but upon looking at the Inheriwiki page for them, which gender they are was never mentioned so there can't be any assumptions as to if there were female Forsworn dragons at all. There could have been though it which more eggs were produced but I see that as unlikely. Galby is a proud enough to person to have mentioned it at some point to his enemies or made some kind of hint to it but that is not so.
